View Full Version : BBC ‘doctored’ Trump speech - one of many examples of BBC deceit

BBC caught with their pants down.
I wonder what Trump has to say about this….
BBC ‘doctored’ Trump speech.
The BBC doctored a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.
A Panorama programme broadcast a week before the US election made it seem that the president told supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.
The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias which was compiled by a recent member of the BBC’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments.
The dossier said the programme made the US president “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by splicing together footage from the start of his speech with something he said nearly an hour later.
It claimed that senior executives and the BBC’s chairman had ignored and dismissed a string of serious complaints raised by the corporation’s own standards watchdog.
The Telegraph will soon publish other excerpts of the memo which accuse the BBC’s Arabic service of bias over its coverage of the war in Gaza, and accuse the corporation of “effective censorship” of its coverage of the transgender debate.

More here…
BBC got caught editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it sound like he encouraged rioting.
According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”
The Telegraph reported:
The BBC “doctored” a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.
A Panorama programme, broadcast a week before the US election, “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.
With video showing doctored and original…

BBC - the mouthpiece of State control.
I want Trump to sue the arse off this entity. And I want all the times they doctored 'reporting' - whether 'war' stuff (and there's countless examples of that (those 'reporters' out in 'war zones') or speeches or text to come to the light of day. This corporation has to go - it will, but cannot come fast enough for me or those wise to the corporation's ways.

The sooner the BBC is dead and gone the better.
Americans cannot comprehend the insanity of my facing a thousand pound fine for accidentally clicking on a link to a live stream on the internet. The BBC TV Licence "authority" has sweeping power ( and obviously special arrangements ) to plant cookies on any device that accesses a live stream.
Why live stream ?
The wording of their rules has always specified live TV. not just BBC live TV, ALL live TV. Using the argument that people now use the internet to watch live TV they have included all live streaming.
When I try to explain all this to non Brits the reaction is WTF !.
WTF indeed. They not only want to control information and our minds, they want to make a huge amount of money out of it at the same time. I'm not sure but I think a "colourTV licence" fee is now nearly 200 pounds a year. That's not unique tho'. That model is being used across the board. The death jabs didn't just kill and maim masses of people, they made hundreds of billions of dollars out of doing it.
I've done a lot of work on reducing the number of anger triggers I have but the BBC and it's bloody licence remains in the cluster of them I still have.

We stopped paying the licence fee years ago and stopped watching mainstream TV, although 'they' dont believe us and have continued to send their pathetic 'threatening' letters, all of which we have joyously torn up and binned. I dont know if you know this guy, but for anyone looking to find out the 'rules' (such as they are) he is a godsend and quite funny too:

Yes, we cancelled it years ago too. I sent in a complaint after being forced to declare earlier this year that I did not watch live TV, as the email they sent had the headline. "Sneaking a peek at what everyone's talking about?". I told them that what everyone talks about regarding TV is a load of trash content and I felt that it was an insult to my intelligence. They never send the goons here anyway as we are out in the sticks, but even if they did, they would never catch us in the act of watching TV.

I got one of their goons a few years ago and sent him off with a flea in his ear - I did know what to say, fortunately, so he was flummoxed, as they rely heavily on 'fear' tactics. Chilli Jon Carne says never to engage with them, as they are trained to lure you into admitting that you do watch their crap tv.
My friend goes one better: her line to a visit she had once was 'how can you sleep at night, knowing you are working and accepting a wage from a corporation which supports pedophiles?' The man simply turned and walked away.

Looks like the telegraph is having a go at the BBC (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/11/05/bbc-poisonous-group-think-destroying-britain/). Link to article without paywall here (https://archive.ph/PJjj2). Although I welcome somebody publicly calling out the BBC for what it is sometimes I wonder if it is 'allowed' just so we can let off a bit of steam and then go back to grumbling into our beer.

Along with Davie, BBC CEO of New Deborah Turness also resigned
LONDON, November 9. /TASS/. BBC Director General Tim Davie has resigned amid the scandal over editing a speech by US President Donald Trump.
"I wanted to let you know that I have decided to leave the BBC after 20 years. This is entirely my decision, and I remain very thankful to the Chair and Board for their unswerving and unanimous support throughout my entire tenure, including during recent days," Davie, who has headed the BBC since 2020, said in a statement.
"Like all public organizations, the BBC is not perfect, and we must always be open, transparent and accountable. While not being the only reason, the current debate around BBC News has understandably contributed to my decision," he stated. "There have been some mistakes made and as Director-General I have to take ultimate responsibility."
Along with Davie, BBC CEO of New Deborah Turness also resigned.
The Daily Telegraph said on November 3 that a BBC Panorama documentary aired in October 2024 ahead of the presidential election in the United States had misled viewers by splicing two parts of Donald Trump’s speech together. The broadcast showed Trump saying he would walk with his supporters to the Capitol before the riots on January 6, 2021, urging them to "fight like hell." However, it omitted a section of the speech where Trump urged the crowd "to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.".

Remember the greening argument? That by planting trees, we might soak up excess CO2 in the atmosphere.
BBC were on it. Well known for pushing globalist narratives, they immediately gaslight the public, asserting that re-greening the world won't help with climate change. Because trees are no longer effective. Nature has suddenly stopped working, according to them.

'Resignations' are the BBC's and other corrupt entities' way of avoiding any accountability - such institutions just carry on their corrupt ways. At the very least these people should've been sacked. How many 'resignations' have we been witness to over the years - whether from politicians or the BBC where nothing has ever changed? They seem to think its what the public 'require' - throw a fall-guy into the sacrificial ring amid the usual media frenzy...then all will be well - business as usual folks!
Will we get to know just who edited the Panorama programme, who made the decision to doctor Trumps words - who's really behind all this? Of course not - we've never found out anything about who's behind, or has enabled, all the many, many corruptions that have surfaced throughout the years. For example - who at the BBC was behind the media 'D' notice of Saville's crimes, for a great many years? Who, in the Royal family gave the instructions for Saville's doings to remain hidden? (privately, we can take good educated guesses for who they were!) It is someone, or a small group, but we never hear from then, instead we get the usual hapless 'Bosses', 'Heads' and Ceo's thrown onto the bonfire for the public to gawp at.
Trump is demanding total disclosure from the BBC of every time he's been mis-represented (and there is lots of that!) and it has to be in a 'conspicuous' manner - ie: put out into the public domain, where all the mis-representation can be seen. He is giving the BBC till Friday to agree to this, or he will go ahead and sue. Brilliant.

BBC crisis deepens as Trump threatens to sue for $1bn | ITV News
ITV News - Nov 10, 2025

Donald Trump has threatened a billion-dollar legal action against the BBC over the editing of a Panorama documentary.
It comes as BBC chairman Samir Shah was forced to apologise on Monday for an "error of judgment" over the editing of a speech in a Panorama documentary by Mr Trump before the attack on the US Capitol on January 6 2021.
The apology follows the resignation of two of the corporation’s most senior figures on Sunday – Chief Executive of BBC News Deborah Turness and Director-General Tim Davie.
Trump's legal team has submitted a letter to the BBC threatening a lawsuit unless they retract the documentary.
ITV News obtained a copy of the letter from a source close to President Trump
The letter, from Trump counsel Alejandro Brito, demands that “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” made about Mr Trump must be retracted immediately, Fox News reported.
The letter gives the corporation a Friday deadline to respond, adding if it does not, Mr Trump will be “left with no alternative but to enforce his legal and equitable rights, all of which are expressly reserved and are not waived, including by filing legal action for no less than 1,000,000,000 dollars in damages.”
It concludes: “The BBC is on notice.”
Mr Trump has a history of suing news organisations in the US.
The BBC said it has received communication from Trump over the editing of the documentary, broadcast the week before last year’s US election and said "we are now considering how to reply to him.”
In a letter to the Culture, Media and Sport Committee, Mr Shah said the corporation accepted that the way the speech had been edited for a Panorama documentary had given "the impression of a direct call for violent action."
Their resignations of Turness and Davie follows the release of a memo by Michael Prescott, a former external adviser to the BBC’s editorial standards committee, which raised concerns in the summer about the way President Trump's speech on January 6, 2021, had been edited.
Clips were spliced together in the documentary 'Trump: A Second Chance?' to make it appear he had told supporters he was going to walk to the US Capitol with them to “fight like hell”.
In his letter, Mr Shah said there have been more than 500 complaints since the publication of the memo, and that it is "simply not true" that Mr Prescott "uncovered" issues that the BBC has sought to "bury".
He added: "There is another view that has gained currency in the coverage that the BBC has done nothing to tackle these problems.
"That is also simply not true."
On the editing of the clip, Mr Shah said the BBC's editorial guidelines and standards committee was told by BBC News the purpose of doing so was "to convey the message of the speech made by President Trump so that Panorama's audience could better understand how it had been received by President Trump's supporters and what was happening on the ground at that time."
He said the issue was discussed as part of a wider review of the BBC's US election coverage, but was not pursued further at that time as it had not attracted significant audience feedback.
The letter continued: "The points raised in the review were relayed to the Panorama team, including the decision-making on this edit. With hindsight, it would have been better to take more formal action."
Downing Street has said the BBC is not corrupt or institutionally biased after hitting back at claims made by President Trump and other critics of the public broadcaster.
A spokesman for the prime minister said: “On the question of is the BBC corrupt? No.
"The BBC has a vital role in an age of disinformation… where there’s a clear argument for a robust, impartial British news service to deliver, and that case is stronger than ever."
Asked if Starmer believed the BBC was institutionally biased, the spokesman replied: “No, but it is important that the BBC acts to maintain trust and correct mistakes quickly when they occur, because as I say, for any public service broadcaster, accountability is vital to maintain trust.”
On Monday morning, the former CEO of BBC News, Deborah Turness, insisted the organisation is not "institutionally biased".
Speaking to reporters outside Broadcasting House, Ms Turness said: "I stepped down over the weekend because the buck stops with me, but I would like to make one thing very clear.
"BBC News is not institutionally biased, that's why it's the world's most trusted news provider."
Asked why mistakes were not dealt with, including on Trump, on antisemitism, and on women’s rights, Ms Turness replied: “I’m sure that story will emerge.”

This is similar to the NY Times; they were perceived as a very trustworthy publication, which was never true. But like the BBC, their hate for Trump was their undoing. Watching Trump push back their globalist agenda, and at the same time, he was attacking and accusing them of being fake news, was just too much for them to take. It has been delightful to watch their demise. The world has moved beyond the mainstream news, but the BBC, Times and other outlets just don't know it yet.

I suggest, as an ear opener, that you or anyone run a digital recorder all night on the BBC Radio 4 FM frequency after 1AM when it's switched over to BBC World Service.
The "top-tier propaganda outlet of which the KGB would be proud" will surely spook the hell out of you.

The fire will spread, stand well back.
At around 5 mins into the above video ITV Washington correspondent Dan Rivers shuffles reluctantly through the initial 'edited video' topic and then proceeds to back the Beeb with a list of ultimately ungrounded claims that paint Trump as having been out of order with his refusal to accept the result of the 2020 election and therefore dangerously provocative anyway and STILL Guilty as accused from the Brit side of the media pond.
Here's something that these people have still got coming to them in the hole they are digging for themselves.
Among other things, I'm a little excited to think there's a possible Ace Card solution to the MAGA (and others) disappointment with Trump's current Attorney General Pam Bondi. . . . . the now fully pardoned Sidney Powell
This fight is only just getting started.
Sidney Powell for A.G. ? !
Sidney Powell Was Right!
Forbidden.News - Nov 11, 2025
"What the alternate electors did was no different from what democrats in Hawaii did in 1960, challenging the results of the election between JFK & Richard Nixon & overturning the results in their state."
Late last Sunday night, attorney and former federal prosecutor, Sidney Powell was one of 77 people fully pardoned by President Trump (https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-president-trump-issues-pardons-for-rudy-giuliani-john-eastman-tyler-bowyer-and-more-over-2020-election-prosecutions?utm_campaign=64530) for their efforts in challenging the results of the 2020 election.
Powell officially joined Trump’s legal team on November 19, 2020 and she’s had nothing but headaches ever since. Just two days after the press conference in the video above, Powell was separated from Trump’s team, I suspect due to her allegations about Smartmatic and its successors. However, she continued to independently file federal lawsuits on Trump’s behalf, losing four cases in Michigan, Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin.
For her troubles, she’s been sued five times for defamation totaling around $5 billion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidney_Powell#Defamation_lawsuits_against_Powell) by multiple Dominion and Smartmatic executives. In 2021, Michigan recommended her disbarment in and disciplinary action was later brought against her by the State Bar of Texas. In October 2023, she was sentenced to six years of probation for her role in challenging the election results in Georgia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_election_racketeering_prosecution). She’s been vilified in Wikipedia and ridiculed throughout the mainstream media, while the rest of Trump’s legal team and other supporters have met similar fates.
In this video of Sidney Powell’s speech at a November 19, 2020 press conference with Trump’s legal team, including Rudy Giuliani, Victoria Toensing, Joseph diGenova (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_diGenova) and Jenna Ellis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenna_Ellis), she laid out many of the same details that we’ve recently come to learn from Patrick Byrne, Gary Bentsen and Ralph Pelluzzo about the Deep State’s global election theft operation (https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/the-20-year-worldwide-digital-election) using Venezuela’s Smartmatic software.
Powell read from an October 6, 2006 letter to then-Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Paulson) from Rep Carolyn Maloney (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolyn_Maloney), which we recently learned from Pelluzzo (https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/election-cartel-whistleblowers-revealed) had spurred an investigation by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Committee_on_Foreign_Investment_in_the_United_States) that determined the Venezuelans had disguised the owners of Smartmatic, causing the Treasury Department to announce they did not trust this software.
Powell referred to an affidavit from a “very strong witness” whose testimony was used in Lin Wood’s case filed in Georgia. This witness seems like he might be the same Smartmatic whistleblower whose video-recorded sworn testimony was released by Patrick Byrne last September. (https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/8-min-highlight-reel-of-25-hr-smartmatic)
It’s now five years later and it appears that Sidney Powell was right in November of 2020 and she’s been right all along: Details of this vote theft operation were known by the US Treasury, at the highest level of the US Government since 2006, yet she was removed from Trump’s legal team for talking about it and she and several others have had their careers destroyed – and on top of that, they’ve been sued by Smartmatic and Dominion for billions and billions of dollars.

Now Russia jumps on board, and they are most certainly correct in their criticisms. At this point, and going back many years, the BBC is a legit agitprop organisation. They need to be called out, and for every single one of their lies. Then they need to be held accountable.
Russia joins Trump’s BBC pile-on
Moscow’s Embassy in London said “ideological dogma has replaced journalistic ethics” at the corporation.
LONDON — The Russian Embassy in London joined in with Donald Trump’s attacks on the BBC Tuesday, branding Britain’s embattled public service broadcaster a “propaganda and disinformation tool” full of “ideological dogma.”
The criticism from Moscow follows the U.S. President’s threat to sue the BBC for $1 billion over its editing of a speech he gave on Jan. 6, 2021, during a Panorama documentary broadcast days before the 2024 presidential election. The row over the documentary has cost the BBC its top executive, Tim Davie, and its most senior newsperson, Deborah Turness, who both resigned Sunday night.
Writing on Telegram, the Russian Embassy leapt on the row, saying the BBC was “nothing more than a propaganda and disinformation tool.
“Its journalists select and manipulate facts, as well as censor information that does not align with their partisan editorial stance.”
“The corporation has become a platform for Russophobia and extremism,” the Telegram post said.

HOLY ****!!! Now Russia has entered the main stage, they are criticising the BBC, saying they have been falsifying and fabricating its coverage of Russia-Ukraine related stories.
Russia has accused the BBC, of "falsification" in its reporting of the 2022 Bucha massacre by Russian troops in Ukraine.
Things are certainly ramping up!🍿

The shocking true story of deception, cover-ups and the Panorama scandal that betrayed Princess Diana
"Broadcast Betrayals: The BBC's Decade of Deceptions Exposed"
The title "Broadcaster Betrayals: The BBC's Decade of Deceptions Exposed" appears to refer to a new book by former BBC reporter and documentary filmmaker Andy Webb, which focuses on the scandal surrounding the 1995 Martin Bashir interview with Princess Diana.
Webb's book, also titled Dianarama, details the methods Martin Bashir used to secure the interview—including the use of forged bank statements to deceive Diana's brother, Earl Spencer—and the subsequent alleged cover-up by key players at the BBC.
Key aspects of the "deceptions" described include:
Fabricated documents: Bashir was found to have used forged bank statements to gain access to Princess Diana by suggesting her staff were betraying her.
Internal cover-up: The book and related journalism from Webb allege an elaborate cover-up within the BBC to hide what happened for years after the interview aired.
Official findings: An independent investigation led by Lord Dyson in 2021 concluded that Bashir used "deceitful conduct" and that the BBC had covered up his actions.
The book is presented as a "groundbreaking exclusive" that provides an "unrivalled insider access" narrative to the scandal, positioning itself as a key part of the historical record of the events and their impact. The narrative spans over 30 years, including legal battles in 2024 to publish related documents.

'Decade'?! I think you'll find they've been at it for far longer than ten years. As far back as 1922, but the brainwashing of the masses started in earnest with their first TV transmission in November 1936, at Alexander Palace, London.

Pardon my growing hilarity but at this point I'd vote for calling it "Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall".
Just pile in with the whole damn lot.
Are those photos of graffiti and pictures plastered all over the reachable level of a BBC building calling them out as accomplices of the Covid/injections murders still on line ?
Don't stop, this gets as huge as we want it to. For our goals, the Beeb is the gift that never stops giving. Even CNN and MSNBC collapsing couldn't do it with quite the class the beeb can, and, probably, couldn't drag quite as many of the real crooks of this world down with them either.

The BBC blinks – another fake news outlet bites the dust.
The once highly-regarded British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) was already facing a deluge of complaints about its biased news coverage, when a whistleblower brought about the collapse of the leadership.
He did it by showing how the ‘Beeb’ doctored the editing of a Donald J. Trump J6 speech to falsely suggest the US President was supporting violence during the DC riots.
So, the state broadcaster was left with the choice of either apologizing and retracting the documentary allegations, or face a $1 billion lawsuit from Trump.
The BBC is reportedly ready to apologize, with lawyers working on the message to the US president.
“The row comes at a moment of high tension for the BBC, which is facing a ‘fundamental’ review of its royal charter, due for a once-in-a-decade renewal in 2027. The license fee is also set to increase to £181 next year.”
Earlier this week, in a letter to
The BBC chairman Samir Shah apologized to the culture, media and sport committee, for ‘errors of judgment’, while insisting that the broadcaster does not suffer from ‘systemic bias’.

Let's have more, more, more . . . . .
There's an endless supply of proof that every breath the BBC takes goes in as grabbed air and comes out as globalist fire.
At this point, it's good that other branches of corporate media are laying out what looks like a case but I don't expect them to keep pulling this thread for long because it will unravel all of them sooner or later.
Camila is already soft pedalling and reaching for the brake as she emphasises that "I'm not one of those that wants to bring down the BBC, I just want it to do a little bit better". That's a side track from what needs to continue here.
We the people have to take the baton from here on or the rest of the MSM blob will pull over and park it outside a branch of Fortress Hotels, stable the horses and congratulate themselves on having a fine day out, on their ways to each others bedrooms.

Not just the BBC and not just the UK.
Apparently Sweden did the same thing.
Proof positive (in my view) that this wasn't an isolated faux pas by a "politically partisan" newsroom. It can't be a coincidence they both pushed the same fake conspiracy theory. Let's see if more comes out. It's possible this was a coordinated attack involving multiple state media. But orchestrated by who? If there's an American deep-state, there's an EU deep-state too...

The USAID Connection: Laundering Censorship Through “Development” Funds
Sayer Ji's Substack (https://sayerji.substack.com/p/bbc-exposed-deceptive-editing-usaid)
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!C9Oq!,w_1456,c_limit,f_webp,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fb795a900-f7ec-43da-a98e-abe91c0ed2f8_728x520.heic
In early 2025, a startling shake-up at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) drew attention to a global censorship network reaching into American discourse. As investigative journalist Mike Benz revealed on Newsmax, the Trump administration abruptly put most USAID staff on leave amid allegations that taxpayer funds were being “laundered” through media organizations to control narratives. On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST), all USAID direct hire personnel were placed on administrative leave globally, except for a select group managing mission-critical functions.
At the center of this storm was the BBC. The broadcaster, via its development arm BBC Media Action, has received substantial USAID funding over multiple years. According to BBC Media Action’s own press release from February 4, 2025, USAID contributed approximately £0.9 million ($1.1 million) to BBC Media Action in the 2017-2018 financial year alone, as part of a broader financial relationship spanning several years. BBC Media Action’s 2023-2024 funding chart prominently lists USAID as contributing £2,613k (approximately $3.3 million), making it one of the organization’s top donors.
The arrangement effectively “laundered” U.S. taxpayer money into foreign censorship efforts. Instead of merely producing public-interest media, BBC Media Action has been accused of aligning with a broader campaign to silence independent voices under the guise of combating “misinformation.” As I noted in my previous report, “The way USAID has funneled taxpayer funds into BBC Media Action and the Trusted News Initiative, effectively laundering transatlantic influence operations to suppress U.S. citizens’ constitutional rights, demonstrates a clear violation of democratic principles.”
The Trusted News Initiative: BBC’s Censorship Consortium
The BBC is often regarded as an extension of the UK government, functioning as a tool for soft power projection across the world. Its influence has expanded through initiatives like the Trusted News Initiative (TNI), which actively seeks to regulate online discourse under the banner of combating misinformation. Founded by the BBC in 2019, TNI is a partnership between major media outlets, technology companies, and global organizations, ostensibly aimed at combating disinformation.
However, critics argue that TNI effectively creates an information cartel that determines what narratives are deemed legitimate. The BBC, as the initiator of TNI, has worked alongside major platforms like Meta, Google, Microsoft, and Twitter/X to suppress viewpoints that contradict mainstream pharmaceutical and government stances on public health. Through partnerships with these tech giants, TNI’s efforts restrict independent voices while reinforcing the dominance of mainstream pharmaceutical, governmental, and corporate interests.

BBC and ISD: The “Disinformation” Hit List
GreenMedInfo was listed as among those “known disinformation” websites in the ISD/BBC report. The classification had serious consequences: GMI (and I) came under increasing attack, facing deplatforming, search engine suppression, and financial restrictions. During the 2021-2023 period of coordinated attacks (the “disinformation dozen” campaign), over 2 million of my followers were removed across social media ecosystem, and I was barred from using PayPal/Venmo both personally and professionally, cutting off critical revenue streams. Most concerning were black operations involving NATO stratcom, at least one threat of a lawfare campaign, not to mention the suppression of millions of followers who were prevented from receiving the messages and content they voluntarily elected to receive, a clear violation of our constitutional rights on both sides.
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!XINj!,w_1456,c_limit,f_webp,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fb985c4e8-9afa-4d44-91e4-1643472cdd90_1430x966.png
This joint investigation by ISD and BBC Click heavily scrutinized independent health sites by grouping them with far-right extremism and conspiracy theories. The methodology involved monitoring public Facebook pages and groups without obtaining consent, collecting engagement metrics, and using keyword-based parsing to label discussions as misinformation. This broad-stroke approach falsely conflated legitimate health discourse and heterodox medical views with radical ideologies, providing convenient pretext for censorship.
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!ZWZB!,w_1456,c_limit,f_webp,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Ff87e9f70-c75c-4d0f-9695-c7881f24f0a7_847x1200.png
What is particularly alarming is the degree to which BBC Media Action’s funding from USAID appears to serve as a laundering mechanism for these suppression efforts. By framing alternative health platforms as threats to public health, the BBC (and by extension, USAID) justified their removal from social media, search engines, and financial platforms.
A key nexus between British state media and CCDH’s funding architecture is the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, one of 17 dark money funding sources (https://greenmedinfo.com/content/17-dark-money-funders-behind-ccdhs-kill-elon-s-twitter-directive1) behind CCDH, whose trustees include Tony Hall, Baron Hall of Birkenhead (former Director-General of the BBC) and Sir Anthony Salz (former BBC Governor) are trustees of the foundation. This foundation’s direct grant to CCDH in 2021 reveals how ostensibly philanthropic institutions serve as conduits for media-aligned influence operations.
The “Disinformation Dozen”: A Coordinated Attack on American Citizens
The targeting of GreenMedInfo by entities with ties to USAID, BBC, and the Trusted News Initiative (https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/expos-global-elite-target-greenmedinfohealth-sites-institute-strategic-dialogue-c2) highlights a larger battle over who controls information. The weaponization of media and funding to silence dissenting voices in the health sphere is a direct threat to democratic discourse and individual rights.
In March 2021, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a UK-based organization, published a report claiming that 12 individuals were responsible for “65% of anti-vaccine misinformation” online. This became known as the “Disinformation Dozen” campaign (https://greenmedinfo.com/content/debunking-ccdhs-disinformation-dozen-report-how-flawed-methodology-and-misleadhttps://greenmedinfo.com/content/debunking-ccdhs-disinformation-dozen-report-how-flawed-methodology-and-mislead). I was named as one of these twelve individuals, along with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Joseph Mercola, and others.
At that very time, Tim Davie was serving as Director-General of the BBC — having assumed the position in September 2020 — and therefore presided over the corporation’s deepening entanglement with censorship partnerships. Under his leadership, the BBC not only expanded the Trusted News Initiative but also lent implicit and explicit support to CCDH’s “Disinformation Dozen” campaign through its coverage and institutional collaborations. Davie’s tenure thus coincided with the BBC’s active role in legitimizing and disseminating the CCDH narrative that was used to justify the targeting and deplatforming of lawful American speech
The BBC and other major media outlets (https://greenmedinfo.com/content/major-victory-media-giants-admit-errors-disinformation-dozen-coverage1) amplified this campaign extensively, treating the claims as fact despite serious methodological flaws. However, in August 2021, Meta (Facebook) thoroughly debunked the CCDH’s central claim, revealing that the individuals named in the report were actually responsible for only about 0.05% of all views of vaccine-related content on Facebook—not the 65% claimed by the CCDH
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Kpdf!,w_1456,c_limit,f_webp,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F2baf7d9a-bc44-4bb4-94d2-c40b11cbfbd8_1588x1196.png
Major Media Outlets Correct “Disinformation Dozen” Coverage—But Not the BBC
In a significant turn of events in 2024, major media outlets began correcting their previous reporting (https://greenmedinfo.com/content/guardian-joins-growing-list-media-outlets-correcting-disinformation-dozen-cove) on the “Disinformation Dozen.” Three prominent organizations took steps to address their earlier coverage:
The Independent added an update to their May 17, 2021 article “Study names 12 most dangerous anti-vaxxers in America,” broadly stating Meta’s objections to the CCDH study and providing a link for readers to view Meta’s full statement.
Forbes added an update to their December 10, 2021 article “De-Platform The Disinformation Dozen,” referencing Meta’s statement and the report’s response.
McGill University added a pinned comment to their March 10, 2022 YouTube video “A Dose of Science,” mentioning that Meta disputes the validity of the CCDH report.
*
However, conspicuously absent from this list of corrections is the BBC. Despite issuing an apology and retracting their deceptively edited Trump documentary, the BBC has yet to correct or retract any of its extensive coverage promoting the discredited “Disinformation Dozen” narrative. This glaring double standard raises serious questions about the broadcaster’s commitment to accuracy and accountability.
Media Outlets Still Required to Correct Their “Disinformation Dozen” Coverage
The “Disinformation Dozen” campaign had an unprecedented reach across various media platforms. At its peak, a search for “Disinformation Dozen” yielded approximately 500,000 results on Bing and 84,000 results on Google, underscoring the campaign’s extensive influence and the potential for widespread reputational damage to the individuals named.
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!4CKe!,w_1456,c_limit,f_webp,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fb0427927-4162-4871-811a-54fff3ddffa2_1024x572.png
In a coordinated effort, the individuals named in the “Disinformation Dozen” report and their supporters have reached out to several dozen media outlets requesting corrections. The following outlets have yet to respond or issue corrections for their uncritical amplification of the discredited CCDH claims:
BBC (all divisions)
Huffington Post
Newsweek
Mashable
Self Magazine
NPR
Times of Israel
The Guardian
Business Insider
American Medical Association (AMA)
ProPublica
Booz Allen Hamilton
CNBC
NBC

Daily Mail UK
Critically, these media corrections come long overdue and may indicate growing awareness among media outlets of their potential culpability and liability in wrongfully attacking the civil liberties of US citizens.

It doesn't get any better than the Marianna Trench being exposed as the lying toadess that she is. She tried to stich up Richard D hall for the BBC, when he called out the hoax that was the Manchester Arena bombings. Despite numerous emails from him saying an explicit 'No!' for her requests for an 'interview' with him, she stalked him at his workplace and did a hit-piece on him anyway. 'Dianarama'...Andy webb's new book telling the story of how the BBC's Martin Bashir fed Diana a load of lies to get her to agree to an interview with him for the BBC's Panorama. She was terrified something was going to 'happen' to her, thanks to the lies fed to her by Bashir, and it was the reason she did the Panorama interview - to basically put her in a safer place.
This is so sad and shocking, because the author and many of her close friends and know that Diana would be alive today if she hadn't turned her back on proper protection officers, which, by the way, were NOT taken away from her because of her divorce, but because Bashir convinced her that they were not to be trusted, so she let them go, leaving her very vulnerable.
Bashir and those he worked for (BBC) deliberately isolated our former Princess Of Wales from those she trusted, utilising the insecurities of a newly divorced woman from the Palace.
A profound interview with the hosts asking real, pertinent questions, for once - as these two usually do. Its 51mins, but if you're interested in the whole Diana 'interview' thing, then it will be well worth a watch.

Trump not standing down.
“One of the nice parts about litigation is we will find out how many times they have done it to other people."
Donald Trump has spoken about the BBC Panorama scandal - and he is clearly in no mood to back down, telling GB News that he believes he has an "obligation" to sue the corporation for $1billion.
"This is beyond fake, this is corrupt, what they did," the US President told GB News' Bev Turner when asked to describe his reaction to the wrongful BBC editing of his Jan 6 2021 speech on Capitol Hill.
Trump's comments are a disaster for the BBC which had spent much of Thursday and Friday trying to defuse the row over the BBC's edits to Trump's speech, broadcast on the eve of last November's US Presidential election.
The Panorama broadcast had showed the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.

This tweet from Allison Pearson, the lady who wrote the Telegraph article seen in post #36 (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?130568-BBC---doctored---Trump-speech-one-of-many-examples-of-BBC-deceit&p=1691667&viewfull=1#post1691667). True when you consider that Trump probably has the very best lawyers money can buy.

The legal “discovery” into what they did to the Trump speech is going to be excruciating for @BBCNews
All the emails and texts between managers and editors. Those US lawyers are relentless.

The BBC Wants to SPY on You, as they lose over £1 BILLION
BlackBeltBarrister - Nov 22, 2025
The BBC plans to spy on your "online viewing" as they lose over £1.1 billion in revenue. Yet, there is no statutory power that compels the public to reaffirm “No Licence Needed” (NLN) declarations every year, and no statute gives the BBC the power to shorten the reaffirmation period.

Black Narrative, White Reality: How the BBC Rewrote History
Source: https://x.com/JChimirie66677/status/2001441730575364366
The BBC has been caught doing what it now does as a matter of habit: deciding the answer first, then bending reality to fit it.
The case of the so-called "first black Briton" should be a national embarrassment for BBC. A Roman-era skeleton was presented to millions as sub-Saharan African, wrapped in solemn narration and moral weight, turned into a symbol of modern identity politics. A plaque was raised. A story was fixed. The message was clear: Britain has always been what the BBC needs it to be today.
Except it wasn't true.
DNA now shows the woman was local to southern England. White. Blonde. Light-eyed. In other words, the opposite of what the BBC confidently told the country in Black and British: A Forgotten History. This wasn't a marginal detail missed in good faith. It was the central claim of a flagship documentary fronted by David Olusoga, delivered not as speculation but as fact. Science was not leading the story. It was chasing it.
This is the rot. Evidence no longer disciplines narrative; narrative disciplines evidence. The BBC didn't say "we don't yet know." It said "she's a black Briton," because that conclusion served a present-day political need. The past was not studied. It was recruited.
When the first doubts emerged, the correction didn't arrive with the same force as the original claim. There was no prime-time reckoning. No apology proportional to the certainty with which the error had been sold. The plaque came down quietly. The audience was not summoned back to be told they'd been misled. That silence is the tell.
This isn't about an honest mistake corrected by better science. It's about an institution that wants certain answers to be true, and treats uncertainty as an obstacle. Dark skin was assumed because it made the story useful. When later evidence contradicted it, the BBC adjusted without reflection, as if nothing of consequence had happened.
The pattern is familiar. Start with the moral lesson. Select the experts who won't complicate it. Present conjecture as settled truth. Then move on. Corrections, if unavoidable, are filed under "science evolves," as though the original certainty had never existed.
Public service broadcasting is meant to do the opposite. It is meant to resist the urge to preach. It is meant to hold facts above fashion. Instead, the BBC now behaves like a cultural NGO with a transmission licence, using history to launder contemporary ideology.
The result is predictable. Viewers no longer trust what they are shown, because they can see the shape of the story before the evidence appears. They know which conclusions will be favoured, which doubts will be dismissed, which past will be approved.
This is why trust drains away. Not because science advances, but because the BBC keeps mistaking storytelling for truth. It wanted a black ancestor. It found one, until DNA said otherwise. And only then did reality reassert itself.
That is not scholarship. It is narrative-first broadcasting. And until the BBC relearns the discipline of doubt, it will keep confusing belief with knowledge, and paying the price in credibility.

I’ve always paid for the TV Licence until the last term and I received an Enforcement Notice last week even though I completed a Declaration online to say I didn’t watch live TV or BBCiplayer and this is true. I also received an acknowledgement from them that they’d received it. I don’t miss watching live TV one little bit, not even GB News which I used to watch every day, and I’m no longer being indoctrinated or bashed by any right or left wing bias any more.
Months ago I read that the cost of the tv licence is added to the Council Tax in Germany and that it may be one option in the UK in the future. It’s more expensive than here btw and the barrister in the above video said it would probably be going up (It’s currently £174.50 a year).
Other countries where a tv licence is mandatory are: Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Ireland, Japan, and some African countries. Countries where the tv licence has been abolished or isn’t paid are Nordic countries Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland, France, Slovakia, Australia and New Zealand.
There’s no love lost between the BBC and Reform, who are tipped to win the next General Election, and hopefully this may stand the UK in good stead. A subscription and/or advertising would be the best way forward for the BBC imo but they have blotted their copybook over the years for their bias, paying people off like Hugh Edwards, not to mention the link with Jimmy Savile, and more recently doctoring interviews to mean something quite different.
