Okay, it looks like the US has enough motives for a color revolution in Mexico.

Reason: (Long list below)

Under former Pres. AMLO and his successor Sheinbaum, Mexico has become a bit too progressive or “socialist.”

🔹Minimum wage was TRIPLED in six years under AMLO (from $5 a day to $15/day). Now, Sheinbaum wants to double it again in her term.

🔹 She wants to build one MILLION homes and offer 0% interest mortgages for low-income people.

🔹Sheinbaum de-privatized oil, electricity and railway companies. Not a full nationalization, but gov has majority shares.

🔹She has gone after the 5th richest man in Mexico for back taxes. This was made possible with changes to judiciary (which is controversial)

🔹Her party is trying to reduce the workweek from 48 hours to 40 hours

🔹Trying to provide social security benefits for gig workers (like Uber)

🔹She raised taxes on Coca Cola and forced it to reduce sugar by 30%.

There are other new “sin taxes.”

🔹Big spending on public schools infrastructure and scholarship to help the poor

🔹 Trickle-Up" Economics: The administration operates on a principle of "for the good of all, the poor come first.”

These are all anathema for neoliberal capitalists in Mexico and the US.

During the Cold War, the US overthrew many Latin American leaders for such progressive policies.

🇺🇸🇲🇽 "Gen Z" Mobs Strike Again - Target Mexico - Evidence So Far of Who is Behind it

US NED-funded media like "Animal Politico" and US NED "Democracy Award" winner and former Mexican president/millionaire Vicente Fox are openly promoting the protests "organized" on mainly US-based social media platforms - as per VERIFIED US-engineered color revolutions elsewhere this year including Nepal, and dating all the way back to the so-called "Arab Spring" in 2011.

The US destabilizing Mexico amid impending war on Venezuela in South America would reflect Washington's acceleration toward, not "retreat" from its pursuit of GLOBAL hegemony - Latin America being located on the globe along with Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia...

🇲🇽 Mexico Eliminates CJNG Leader El Mencho — Cartel Launches Violent Retaliation

Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as El Mencho, leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), was killed during a large-scale Mexican military operation in Jalisco.

The move comes after strong pressure from President Donald Trump’s administration, which demanded concrete results in the fight against drug trafficking and warned it could designate cartels as terrorist organizations. Mexico acted decisively, likely to prevent any direct U.S. intervention on its territory.

CJNG gunmen responded immediately. Vehicles and buses were hijacked and set ablaze, highways were blocked with so-called “narco-blockades,” and attacks were reported on a National Guard base in San Juan de los Lagos and a prison in Puerto Vallarta, where a breakout occurred. Panic spread to Guadalajara International Airport as violence escalated across the region.

The cartel’s objective is clear: create chaos, block military movements, and assert control amid an emerging power struggle.

The elimination of El Mencho is a major blow, but it has pushed Mexico into open confrontation with one of the most heavily armed criminal forces in the country.

🇲🇽 The Rise of Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG)

Unrest in Mexico after the reported elimination of El Mencho did not erupt by accident. CJNG has long been compared to ISIS for its structure, mobility, media presence, and ability to penetrate regions where it previously had no foothold.

By early 2026, CJNG had become the most aggressive, fastest-growing, and best-equipped cartel in Latin America. Since 2011, its expansion never stopped under El Mencho’s leadership. In terms of brutality, it rivals the infamous Los Zetas.

CJNG operates far beyond Mexico: sourcing chemical precursors in Asia and the Middle East, running illegal gold extraction in South America, and distributing drugs across Europe and the United States. Most importantly, it controls key trafficking routes through Mexico and Central America.

Its real power lies not just in geography, but in method. CJNG taxes smaller criminal groups and even legal businesses. Those who refuse to pay are executed publicly, mutilation is routine.

The cartel also absorbs weakened gangs in what analysts call an “orphan adoption strategy.” 2026 was shaping up to be a decisive year, with plans to eliminate remaining rivals and monopolize the market.

USA needs to get their media dogs under control.....

Embassy of Mexico in the U.S.

This post is false.

The military operation in Tapalpa, Jalisco, aimed at capturing Rubén “N,” alias “Mencho,” was planned and executed by Mexican Special Forces.

The action was carried out within the framework of bilateral cooperation, with U.S. authorities providing complementary intelligence.

Mexican National Guard and Army troops are currently reinforcing security in Jalisco and neighboring states to maintain order.

🇲🇽 The Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) fields weapons and gear rivaling some armies: armored vehicles, tactical equipment, modern rifles.

Much of its arsenal comes from the United States. Between 200,000 and 500,000 firearms are smuggled into Mexico each year through the “Iron River,” using American straw buyers. Europe supplies weapons through similar schemes.

CJNG also deploys mines, explosives, and drones — pioneering drone bomb drops and now experimenting with FPV systems.

🇲🇽 Cartel members are attempting to block the Tuxpan–Mexico City highway in Veracruz. Active clashes are reported in the area.

Tuxpan is the closest maritime terminal to the capital and a key entry point for fuel supplies to central Mexico.

Operations at the port of Manzanillo have also reportedly been suspended.

This is likely the most serious blow delivered by the cartel in the past 24 hours. Manzanillo handles 45% of Mexico’s seaborne trade.

The pattern suggests an attempt to place the capital under economic siege by triggering a fuel crisis. The likely goal is to pressure federal authorities into negotiations or retreat.

According to official information, Special Forces units were deployed to detain him but came under attack. They returned fire, killing him in the exchange. Three Mexican servicemen were wounded during the operation.

The report also says that the United States provided support.

🇲🇽 Before Noon...

Leaked SMS messages from the cartel’s elite “Delta” unit shed light on the operation. The leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, El Mencho, was reportedly abducted first and only later eliminated.

"You must be prepared to go into action after 12 noon.

Gentlemen, the order is clear: there will be no truce for those who dared to take the boss. Even his dog will die if by twelve they have not handed the man over to us. We will all move into action, killing civilians. Only children are to be spared. This is going to burn.

Deltas, Rojos, Escorpiones — all of the boss’s elite forces must enter into action.

Respectfully,
Delta 1"

The cartel’s “Delta” unit is clearly named after its American counterpart. It is the cartel’s most heavily armed and combat-ready formation.

Its core consists of defectors from Mexican security forces, particularly those trained by U.S. instructors.

🇲🇽 Across Jalisco, at least 20 branches of the state-owned Banco del Bienestar were set on fire.

Banco del Bienestar handles payments to pensioners, people with disabilities, students, and other recipients of state support. Targeting it was a deliberate attempt to trigger queues, fear, and panic, creating the impression that the state could not protect basic infrastructure.

The cartel was also stretching government resources. A burning bank branch required police, firefighters, municipal services, security, insurance, cash logistics, and IT response.

In effect, the cartel was trying to overwhelm the state with multiple parallel incidents.

A very odd way to “spontaneously react” to the death of your leader.
