On Monday, the day of the Moon, I continue with the old Moon

This is the other "Moon," which should not be compared to Earth's satellite called the "Moon." It may be its ancestor in a distant lunar system, perceptible through intuitive abilities!

An energy palpable to the senses, which may even visit you at night to teach you what you would like to know about this intergalactic lunar dimension. To compare the "ancient Moon" with the Moon of our solar system would be to distance oneself from a possible lunar connection!

Excerpt from the book "Science and the Occult" by Rudolf Steiner

[…] The new planetary entity that can be called the “Moon” (not to be confused with the part of it that forms the current Moon) presents two aspects. First, what had detached itself during the solar period as the new Saturn is reintegrated into the new planetary entity. During the period of rest, this Saturn reunited with the Sun. Everything that was contained within the first Saturn thus reappears initially as a single cosmic formation. […]

On Saturn, the human body was made of heat; on the Sun, it is condensed to a gaseous or “air” state. Now that astral energy is spreading to the Moon, the physical element reaches a certain point of condensation that is then comparable to its current liquid state. This state can be called “water.” It is not exactly our current water, but rather liquid in all its forms. The human body gradually takes on a form made up of three configurations of substances. Its densest part is a “body of water.” This is traversed by air currents, and all of this by sensations of heat […]

One of its celestial bodies, the one associated with the higher entities, is like a reincarnation of the Sun, but more subtle; the other celestial body is the new formation itself, the "old Moon," the third planetary incarnation of our Earth, succeeding that of Saturn and the Sun. Of the substances that formed on the Moon, the reincarnated Sun carries with it only "heat" and "air." On what remained on the Moon as a residue, there is, in addition to these two substances, the liquid element. This separation means that the beings who departed with the new Sun are not hindered in their further development by the denser lunar beings. [...] the fact that the lunar globe separated from the solar globe means that the former is in the same position with respect to the latter as the old Saturn was once with respect to the entire surrounding cosmos. The Saturnian orb was formed from the body of the "spirits of the will" (Thrones).

From its substance radiated back into cosmic space all that was experienced by the spiritual entities previously mentioned in its vicinity. […] Thus, the lunar globe separated from the lunar globe and began to reflect the life of the solar globe. […] In addition to the lunar experiences subjected solely to solar influence, independent lunar experiences took place. These were, in a way, states of indignation and revolt against solar beings. The various kingdoms that formed on the Sun and the Moon, primarily the kingdom of humankind's ancestors, were drawn into this situation. This resulted in two kinds of life existing, both materially and spiritually, within the lunar globe. One was closely united with solar life, the other "deserted" it and followed independent paths. This duality of life is expressed in all subsequent events of the lunar incarnation. […]

[…] one part of this organism was deeply imbued with the activities of the solar beings. In the other part, the fallen lunar beings acted. As a result, this second part was more autonomous than the first. In the first, only states of consciousness in which the solar beings lived could arise, while in the second, there existed a kind of cosmic consciousness similar to that of the Saturnian state […] The ancestor of humankind thus lived on the Moon, passing alternately from a state of clear consciousness to a dark consciousness, and this alternation was accompanied by a transformation of its physical constitution. From time to time, it shed its lunar body only to don it again later. From a physical point of view, great diversity manifested itself in the kingdoms of the Moon. Plant-mineral, animal-plant, and human-animal formed distinct groups. This explains why, if we consider that at each previous stage of evolution, certain formations remained behind, so that beings with the most diverse qualities took shape. […]

[…] Up to this point, we have only discussed the division into Sun and Moon, but for reasons already stated, other globes detached from the lunar orb, which appeared after a cosmic pause between the solar and lunar phases. After some time, we found ourselves in the presence of a whole system of celestial bodies, the most advanced of which was obviously the one we call the new Sun. An attraction now arose between each of these celestial bodies and their corresponding lunar beings, similar to that which we described earlier concerning solar evolution and which exists between the delayed reign of Saturnian evolution and the Spirits of the personality on the new Saturn. Following in detail all these celestial bodies in formation would take us much too far afield […]

[…] The things and beings in the lunar man's surroundings had no direct effect on any of the senses […] To gain a more precise understanding of the lunar men's consciousness, one must imagine that they were enveloped in an atmosphere of vapor… In this vaporous element, the most varied phenomena occur: ways combine, substances dissociate […] However, the images of lunar consciousness are not arbitrary like dream images; they are symbols and not copies, but they correspond to external manifestations […] Although these representations specific to lunar consciousness were not copies but merely symbols of external things, they nonetheless had far more to do with the inner nature of the human being than the representations that result from our current perceptions […]

[…] Beings themselves also cause certain movements, certain rotations of celestial bodies around one another. As a result, their relative positions also change. And when the positions of the celestial bodies change, the effects on the beings concerned are also modified. This is what happened with the Sun and the Moon. With the Moon's rotation around the Sun, human beings enter, by turns, a little more into the field of solar influence; they can escape it at other times and then be more left to their own devices […] One could say that, alternately, the Moon turns its life toward the Sun and away from it. There is a solar season, then a planetary season; during the latter, lunar beings evolve on the side of the Moon that is not exposed to the Sun. For the Moon, something else is added to the rotation of the celestial bodies […] For these sublime beings that reside on the Sun now act upon the Moon, and the Moon in turn acts upon humankind […] …

During the lunar cycle, two distinct states of consciousness alternate: one darker during the solar season, the other more lucid during the period when life is more self-centered. The first of these states is certainly darker, but it is also less selfish; the individual then lives more attuned to the external world, to the cosmos reflected in the Sun […] Awakening on the Moon, as the solar season gradually ends, presents itself as an intermediate phenomenon between the morning awakening of the individual and their birth […]
