I have something I would like to post.

I have never told anyone about this. But I am interested in what other people think or have to say about it.

Maybe its nothing.

My mother had an abortion the first time I was conceived I guess you could say.

Shortly after that. She had an encounter with something she called the "devil" she hardly ever spoke about it but with a few people.

All she would ever say was that It told her I had to be born and that she knew I was going to have Red hair(my parents do not have red hair). She described the Fingers and seemed to be freaked out when thinking about them. She said it only had 3 or 4(I cant remember which) fingers and that they were really unusually long. It seemed to have a black cloak or hood thing on it. When asked for more information she would not say anything else. she always feared it would come back if she spoke about it, really afraid. It told her more things, but she would never tell.

She had one other encounter with this same thing that no one will ever know any more about. she took that and the details of the one before my birth to her grave.

But I have always wondered what that thing was? Why did it tell her I had to be born. And she knew I would have red hair. Thats all she would ever say. she got really bad freaked even just talking about it. Swearing it was the devil.

Was it the devil? an ET? a spirit? Me before I was born?

Has anyone ever heard of something like this before?

Me and my mother always had a good relationship. I was always her favorite. (now that I look back, I hope this wasnt out of fear. LOL)

My sister had a friend who described the exact same thing several years later. she also swore it was the devil. And could not get the Long creepy fingers out of her mind. she saw this in daylight at her house a s a real physical being. This women had never heard of my mothers encounter.

help?

Just a thought.
Post partum depression can actually start before the baby is born. In the extreme, normal fears that a Mom might have can be blown into the psychotic range. She may have felt guilt over the abortion and those feelings may have manifested into an illusion.
I know this doesn't sound mystical or sci fi at all. But it might be a clue as to what happened.

Interesting.

She did see it years before this whole incident. She never mentioned details though she was really afraid to even talk about it.
Years later she seen it again (shortly) after her abortion and it said she had to have a child (me). and told her other things she wouldn't talk about.

I know its weird
Imagine how I feel about the whole thing.

It did tell her things but she kept that to herself.

And then another women I know seen the exact same thing. describing the details exactly. Never having heard the story of my mother.

I think so yes,
Maybe I worded it wrong. Im not the best with writing and grammar.
My mother and father had decided that they did not want a child at the time of that pregnancy. So they decided to have an abortion.

And then shortly after that, she was pregnant again.

With ME.

There are many things that are unexplained.
Those who call you an idiot understand it even less than you.
So the question is, who would be the idiot?
And I hope that your self image is not connected to other peoples opinions of you.

Thanks,

I really wanted to see if there was anyone here that had anymore information or any kind of related experiences to this.

But most of the members attention seems to be on another thread.

Has anyone ever heard of or know anyone that has experienced anything like this?

Thanks again.
The reason I said Idiot, Is because I wasn't getting much of a response and thought I might have just kept it to myself.

Thats the hard part. She was always to scared to talk about it. And I mean really freaked. she didn't like to even mention the description.

The main thing would be the LONG Creepy looking fingers and there were only 3 or 4 of them(I cant remember exactly now).
she could also communicate with it. I dont know if this was through telepathy or verbal communication. I asked about the eyes one time and all she said was NO I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT ANYMORE. ENOUGH.

And the other women "Trish" she mentioned having a similar experience with the same creature(No connection to my mother). Several years later. And Described the same thing.

Quote "It had these Really long and creepy looking fingers, That is what I remember most and sticks in my mind".

I thought ET, But I could not get a good description of the eyes because I didn't want to keep asking my mother and stress her.( she would get visibly shaken) when mention of it.

To my mother this seemed to really be a(or the) devil.

But I just don't believe in that, At least not the biblical interpretation.

But thinking back and seeing my mother so visibly shaken by just the thought or starting to talk about it makes me really believe she saw something . And she was told that I had to be born and apparently that I was going to have red hair. My mother or father do not have red hair and neither do there parents. (Yes I am my fathers child! 100%) just with red hair.

Like I said it told her other things but she took that to the grave.
I really wish I could have got more from her. She would just get so shaken when talking about it. that I couldn't continue.

I just dont think it was the devil.

Hi JDM, I will disclose what happended to me.

I had a 14 yr old son and had not consciously planned another child. Then lo and behold - I had an unplanned pregnancy. We deeply contemplated termination. The emotional conflict that this brings is that of utmost grief and brings very dark days.

Long story short, after all this pain and confusion we decided the day before I was to go in, that we just could not go thru with it. My partner went on oversees business for a couple of weeks

I miscarried the day before he was due home at 15 weeks.

Much self blame and more dark days. I just wanted my baby back. Oh such grief.

I needed a D&C so requested and received my baby back. It was THE most beautiful wonderful treasured thing I have ever seen.

I brought a small wood jewellery box that served perfectly as a casket. So my son and I sewed a silk lining, we wrote messages and put little toys and gifts and very special crystals, jewels and personal momentos from each of us in with him. I then carried him many miles to where my Mum was buried and had a private ceremony and intered him with her. I knew Mum would look after him.

I cry as I write this. *pauses for composure*

I had bizarre dreams and even went to the mountain where all the babies waiting to be born are are kept. They are looked after by a god.

Unbelievably just 8 weeks later I fell pregnant again. This time carried our wee man to term (with a few problems). Such utter joy at the bringing of new life. We all just fell in love with him, he was perfect and we adored him. I do not think I have ever felt that outpouring of pure love in my entire life. Perfection

When he just a few weeks old I had a visit from the archangels Michael Gabriel and one other who stood by the bassinet and asked if I wanted to keep him. I was given the choice and knew I could have chosen either way. Clearly I gave the answer that he stays

I have heard from many Mums of my age who had similar experiences. Those who have a babies later in life seem to have similar circumstances. I think a couple of things

There is a reason for everything
We are choosen as parents by these wee souls particulary as older parents (for quite a few reasons)
They decide that they are coming and there is little that we can do about it
They give us fair warning of their pending arrival.

I must also say, it has not been easy road to parenting him. He is acutely insightful, a very deep thinker, perceptive to the point of being intolerant, abnormal ability to read people, and is master of his own universe. Definately a square peg.

He readily accepts all things esoteric but does not confirm to society rules. Struggles with all form of authority, but will listen to reason eventually. (hours or days insome cases) His reasons for non conformity are very valid and we empathize with him. He considers the entrie schooling system ridiculous

He is very verbal and can put his points forwad with amazing oratory abilites. He can describe in detail how his thought processes work, and is consciencely aware of his existance in the universe and is almost a philosopher, certainly a very deep thinker.

Now14 with an amazing sense of humour he refers to us mostly by our first names. Interestingly he slept with us until he was about 9

I think on another level entirely I believe he struggles to understand this plane of existence and wonders what happened to the earth and its people while he was gone

He is also very loving when it suits him and we all still adore him.

So to answer your question, I think your mums visit was to let her know you were coming. That she saw this as a "devil" may have simply been her minds explanation of what it could have possbly have been. Was part of her childhood involved in mainstream religion? This may have been the only way her mind could make sense of the vision, it was her mnds perception of the visit, she had no other way to describe it. That she felt fear was probably due to the entity being otherwordly and it was probably very scary to her.

Alternatively I think they can manifest anyway they choose, and they choose this look to ensue she took notice of them. I doubt that they wanted to instill fear, but our conscience minds work to make sense of the world and this is what her mind saw.

IMHO the nessage was simply for her to prepare for your birth and also that you would be very special. Which I am sure that you are.

I think its all about perception and how we choose to see "phenomena". Perhaps that which we perceive as dark is actually a benevolent presence.

JDM i have to say, i haven't experienced that exactly but my own mother Almost got an abortion,
she was very ill when she was pregnant with me, and was told because of the shots she got i might be born with disabilities
My grandmother mentioned she had met me in dream the night before my mother called her and told her she'd changed her mind ( and i was born A-okay).
She never told me all the details, (which is kinda frustrating too so i get where you're at on that)

On that note, most of my life I'd seen really strange creatures while awake.
In particular one of my earlier experiences happened when i was about 10. My bed was facing the window and moonlight lit up the outside really well.
I saw two cloaked figures walk by and dissappear into the side of the house. Though i couldnt see the faces well they had glowing eyes and strange hands.
(naturally i jumped outta bed and ran to my mom screaming id seen demons) Another time when i was about 15,
i slept in the dark room at my moms house ( a windowless room) and in the darkness i saw a gray glowing figure that had a scraggly shape to him (kinda like golem) and it bit my hand.
I thought i was dreaming but the next day i had a muscle spasm in that part of my hand all day. Weird stuff isn't it?
My mom laughed when i told her (that first incident) but later she would explain to me that these kind of things run in the family. :)

Could be a number of things one of the things that I’ve become conscious of is that so many people who have an interest in the so called paranormal, are obsessed. I can admit to the fact that so was I once and that to some extent I still am. But what’s different in my life now, is that I’m mindfull of how what I allow myself to think and feel and act and say.

It’s ok to be fascinated by all this stuff and to want to know the cosmos as it really is but never forget that you are the universe. To live a satisfying and honourable life, it’s important to put effort into becoming fully human. That way you’ll feel at one with the universe. But it’s also important to let go of who you think you are. Drop all preconceptions and feel what is. The only way to experience what is, is to create mindfullness. Drop all that would be in your way. Notice the mind. Notice your senses, thoughts, your perceptions, your feelings, your emotions, your behaviours, your speech, your values, your beliefs, your attitudes and your body. Notice what you’re mind creates. Notice where you’re mind prefers to be – past, present or future. Notice your breath. Feel what it is to be alive.

Sometimes it’s easy to get preoccupied with all this otherworldy stuff. And ignore the ordinary.

One of the earliest mentions of an incubus comes from Mesopotamia on the Sumerian King List, ca. 2400 BC, where the hero Gilgamesh's father is listed as Lilu.[5] It is said that Lilu disturbs and seduces women in their sleep, while Lilitu, a female demon, appears to men in their erotic dreams.[6] Two other corresponding demons appear as well: Ardat lili, who visits men by night and begets ghostly children from them, and Irdu lili, who is known as a male counterpart to Ardat lili and visits women by night and begets from them. These demons were originally storm demons, but they eventually became regarded as night demons due to mistaken etymology

Debate about the demons began early in the Christian tradition. St. Augustine touched on the topic in "De Civitate Dei" (The City of God), admitting that there were too many attacks by incubi to deny them. He stated, "There is, too, a very general rumor, which many have verified by their own experience, or which trustworthy persons who have heard the experience of others corroborate, that sylvans and fauns, who are commonly called incubi, had often made wicked assaults upon women."[8] However, despite this affirmation, questions continued about the reproductive capabilities of the demons. 800 years later Thomas Aquinas would lend himself to the ongoing discussion, stating, "Still if some are occasionally begotten from demons, it is not from the seed of such demons, nor from their assumed bodies, but from the seed of men taken for the purpose; as when the demon assumes first the form of a woman, and afterwards of a man; just as they take the seed of other things for other generating purposes."[9] Thus it became generally accepted that incubi and succubi were the same demon, but able to switch between male and female forms.[10] A succubus would be able to sleep with a man and collect his sperm, and then transform into an incubus and use that seed on women. Their offspring were thought to be supernatural in many cases, even if the sperm and egg originally came from humans.

Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful story and the kind comments! It makes more sense to me now.

I have often thought the same way. I have wondered many times if that was ME appearing to her, and telling her that I was coming weather she liked it or not.

Yes she did grow up in Mississippi, Southern Baptist. (Hellfire and Brimstone type) once she became a teenager she rebelled and dropped all that and went here own way.

I have heard of many stories of people especially children seeing these dark figures with glowing eyes. Then walking through walls.

Thats the first I heard of the "golem" creature though, that is interesting.

Honestly I dont have a big interest in the paranormal as in demons, ghost, poltergeist, cryptozology etc...

My main interest would have to be conspiracies, black ops, ET's, esoteric, etc...

I have heard of the incubus and succubus before, And even knew someone that swore they had an encounter with one.

Based on your description I am inclined to impart the following phrase that was imparted to me.

"The Devil is God with a scary mask on" Love that, thank you.

JDM, consider this: If you had never seen a robin or an owl before and one came to you in a dream, you might think of them as a scary creature or the devil. We have a tendency to put that label on things that frighten us and we are easily frightened by the unknown. If we could let go of the fear, things would be different.

It was predicted a long time ago that the next root race would have red hair and longer limbs and fingers. There have been many cases where woman have known things or were told things about their child before it was born. I have a close friend who wanted no more children after 2, but she was told a child had to come in through her. She was shown the little girl beforehand and felt such an attachment that she agreed to get pregnant again. The child is now around 13 yrs and somewhat problematic and is not comfortable in her skin. One could attach many if's and maybe's to her voyage here, but it is always best to stay centered and not allow the mind to over-analyze.

Regarding not to let looks deceive you, I do believe humans have an uncanny sense of evil/danger. We know it when we encounter it. The real question is what did her spirit say when she encountered it? Some are easily deceived by beings that appear beautiful but are inwardly seeking to destroy you and suck off the misery, fear, anger that comes from our emotions run amok eventually. Some are chess player beings who will try to lead a person off their chosen path, and others just like the instant fix of said energy above.

but she was told a child had to come in through her. She was shown the little girl beforehand

I had a similar experience in a dream. I was greeted by an awareness that told me it needed to be born, and that to make it a reality was my purpose.

I said 'no'. ^_^

I guess I don't like to be told what to do. Maybe if it had asked,....

Dear JDM,
This story really rang an eccho in me.

I had 'visitors' (always in a group of four or five) from my first concious memory until just before I turned seven (we moved to a another location some distance away). I can not remember their fingers or face, only their heights ( about 5'25") and their grayish tanned hooded cloaks.

I would always wake up at between 2 - 3 am and anticipating their arrival (maybe once or twice a week or so) and I clearly remember the monotone, distant humming sound in the background (for some reason I always associated this with a fan right outside my bedroom) and a distinct warm, fuzzy feeling of comfort (this was not a very pleasant experience though).

My recall of it now is that we had some kind of mental battle/discussion where I clearly wanted them to just leave me alone. And my triumphant feeling of succes when they agreed to never visit me again a few months before we moved (did they know?) I also recall quite vividly.

The thing that triggered me to respond to your story is that my mother had two spontaneus abortions before I was concieved and she has always told me and my baby brother that we where expected(?). She also had several abortions after my baby brother (no one in between) and is quite adamant she knew it would be us (have to ask her about this).

Well, still I do not know to this day if this was a very vividly recurring dream or if there are some other more paranormal or technological explanations (I grew up just a few hundred yards from a military camp). I dont even know if I want to know.

Thank you for sharing and letting me share.

Hi JDM :)

While there are SO many things that we do not yet understand yet in this reality, the way that the human mind works and interprets information can be a surprise to even those who think they have a handle on reasoning and psychology.

There are definietly people who are here for a specific reason - not just for learning purposes and the usual 'soul growth' but those who have come (or who are coming) specifically in order to deal with the issues our planet - and our species - is facing.

If your mother is a sensitive - she may have felt this, intuitively, and her subconscious then filled in the "fearful" image warning her to allow you to be born (I don't know what her religious background is/was, but it is possible that her intuition in this matter could have been colored by the "rights" and "wrongs" that were taught to her in her youth).

I do know that I was determined to not have children - I didn't want children (yet) and with both my daughters I got pregnant when I was on birth control methods that had worked for me for years before hand, with narry a glitch. If a person is supposed to be born - they will be born, personally, I'm glad you made it here, I'm sure there is plenty of work for you to do :)

Thank you for sharing and letting me share.Lucc30

Thank You!

That is interesting, it seems small children encounter beings like these frequently, that no one else can see. Then the children are always told its there imagination and those things aren't real.

Yeah, you should ask your mother about that why you still have the chance. But then again like you said she might tell you more then you want to know.

I had a similar experience in a dream. I was greeted by an awareness that told me it needed to be born, and that to make it a reality was my purpose.

I said 'no'. ^_^

I guess I don't like to be told what to do. Maybe if it had asked,....

Shezbeth, just a thought. What if that awareness was a new idea that had to be born, not a child! If you are open and comfortable with the process, you might want to ask in meditation if there is some idea that must come through you.
