Hello fellow Avalonians!

It's my first post here, and I wanted to share a piece of very good news, straight out of my old home town! Forgive me if this news has already been shared in another thread. :)

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/2011/02/08/calgary-fluoride-city-water-supply-removal.html

Although it's not a done deal according to the article, I feel like the fact that they are intending to remove it from the water at all is big, big deal.

I will be very anxious to see the improvements in the health of my family —who still live there and have been drinking/bathing in this water for over 20 years.

It is hard to believe how many people believe fluoride is good for teeth and health without knowing where the chemical comes from - or when it was used in the 'not too far past'. The governments are planning to put another chemical in the fresh water supply in the near future - this time to help reduce suicide occurrences (I cannot recall the drug off the top of my head, but it is used in psychiatric hospitals to calm people down). Maybe one solution to calming people down is to have human beings (all things) live as they should be... in harmony.

I have indeed heard of the PTB putting Lithium (is that the drug you had in mind?) in the water supply; Although I'm glad for any bit of good news, I do keep in mind that perhaps fluoride removal is only a bait-and-switch tactic—and that the PTB are merely replacing one poison with one that (they think) will work more effectively to control us.

I'm think the drug had a different (longer) name, I would have to review my extensive notes - too much in my head to keep track of; I wrote about it somewhere. Switching tactics for sure, however, this time they are coming right out and saying it's a drug... the sad part is, people will go for it... eventually.

Japan has a plan to put Lithium in their tap water in order to reduce suicides. Lithium as you know is primarily used to treat Bi-Polar patients--for long term treatment. So far it has just been "proposed" as far as we know.

The scary thing is that some people in the United States agreed that this would not be a bad idea....even here.

Getting rid of fluoride is a start. I'm not sure sure we will get off that easy;-)

Indeed… I'm sure a lot of people are feeling the uphill battle ahead… I grab onto any bit of good news that I can, particularly if the news comes out of a province known as the "Texas of Canada." ;)

People agreeing to these things is 'scary' (unconditional obedience)... and the future fluoride replacement (Lithium) is also 'scary'. Tea anyone? ;)

Oh boy, Lithium may actually increase small psychotic behavior and can make it on the verge of psychopathy. I have a friend who was wrongly diagnosed bi-polar from a stupid money eater professional, the result was a small psychopatic endeavor which last 4 days. She almost killed someone. Lithium was the cause and when she got re-examined by another professional, she was diagnosed psychotic. Now, with her new medication, she is doing fine.

Namaste, Steven

Most of Quebec doesn't put fluoride in the water. Bit jealous in that regard. We spend a good chunk to have drinkable water, which we also use to rinse veggies and cook. Unfortunately still have to bathe in tapwater here.

Here's to getting moved and being on well-water soon!!!

Yes! I hear it on the radio yesterday and I could feel the lift in a million Calgarian souls. And surprisingly, it wasn't even really a debate ... I find that odd considering the interests in Calgary and how it's been shot down several times in the last few years (to stop adding flouride), but nonetheless I am happy. Now, if only we could get some m9ore arts and culture happening.... ;-)

Lithium has been put in water supplies as "experiments" (I work in a specific industry and my boss had privy to the results of some of this testing (not sure how though) and he shared it with me), but the results were most positive. Lithium actually makes on more empathatic and "calms the ego" so to speak. As a result crimes were reduced, levels of wellbeing increased etc. ... So we get flouride instead, lol ;-)

Big Pharma (BIG income for TPTB) is running out of novel drugs, natural health products are making a comeback and patents only last so many years. Newer tactics include trying to sell drugs to governments to poison their people with (vaccines - likely ritalyn in the water soon; lithium is a natural product (mineral) - not patentable so not alot of money to made). Big pharma lobbyists are pushing for regulators and doctors to prescribe ritalyn (and some other things) for everything under the sun - including a general cognition enhancer.

I am one of those lucky ones. I still have my own filtration system to remove all that other nasty stuff they dump in there.

Here is an interesting article http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=3588

Also, I only learned about this recently ... http://www.greentealibrary.com/GT%20&%20Fluoride%20-%20Article.htm

oh, and... thumbs up for Tom's all natural un-fluoridated toothpaste !!! :clap2:

I'm not sure, but I think you may be referring to chlorine rather than flouride? flouride is the byproduct of making nuclear weapons that is easier to dispose of in our water than in the environment (they say its good for our teeth)? Chlorine is what cities have to put in their water to prevent excess bacteria and other nasties from building up in the systems. I grew up with well water - the best water in the world - the earth has its natural filters so it was always fresh and clean with no bacteria - no flouride - I have perfect teeth (2 small fillings I think? - don't ever see a dentist) and never took care of them -- at all! (emarrased now but it gets my point across)
