Hi Avalonians, Guests,
Here is a Google Earth (GE) rectangle that is a ""grid of streets" on the seabed at one of the proposed locations of the lost city of Atlantis has been spotted on Google Ocean", from The Telegraph, very interesting.
4482
The coordinates are: 31 15'15.53N 24 15'30.53W, the image herein is not clear as in GE.
And here is the web link: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/google/4731313/Google-Ocean-Has-Atlantis-been-found-off-Africa.html, and there is five other images.
All my blessings.

Hi Deega,
There are other articles that have referenced this evidence back in 2009 that state that it is just an imaging artifact that is a result of the way the seabed was scanned by boats travelling in straight lines.
This of course may just be a coverup to stop people looking further into it, but there do appear to be many other similar straight lines on google mapping of the seabed.
This may well be a remnant of some kind of ancient civilisation, but I do not believe it to be Atlantis, as Atlantis has been described as consisting of several circular settlements leading to the main core structure. Also it doesn't appear to be an area of land that has disappeared beneath the sea because of a major cataclysm, but could have occured as a result of sea level change over time.
Thank you for finding this information for people to ponder though, as I am sure you would agree, no known history is ever set in stone.
I hope that you do not mind me commenting on your findings, and very much appreciate the many posts that you have made so far.
Love and Truth,
Amenjo.

Graham Hancock has written a book about a lot of ancient underwater civilizations. It's called "Underworld: The Mystery Origins of Civilization." He was interviewed extensively covering this topic on one of the Ancient Alien episodes too.

There are more than 200 sunken cities in the meditereanean(?) alone, so image how many are scattered across the sea floor worldwide! Is this Atlantis? Who's to say, I am concinved Atlantis did exist and is underwater somewhere, but we're not qualified to say for sure this is it. A similar sunken city with a gridlike street strucure was recently discovered in the area off the Florida Keys, could it be Atlantis? Maritime archaeologists think they may have found the ancient mythic Indian city of Duwarka under the sea off the coast of India as well. Someday most of what we now call America will be underwater, Phoenix and Denver will one day be beachfront properties....

If you look around Google earth you will see many long striaght lines and right angles under the ocean. They are not clustered together like this, but the width and texture of them is identical.
If this were a city, it would be monstrous in size. Looks larger than some states or countries. I don't think this is an archaeological site, but I would think if it were it would be hard to keep divers out like they have around Cuba.
I think Yonaguni is much more fascinating, especially since I spent part of my childhood on Okinawa. If I had only known!

Thanks Iceni Tribe,
When I read this article in the Telegraph, I didn't noticed that 2009 was the date of the article. I guess my mind was set that it was recent.
Thanks to notice.

Thanks Amenjo,
Well, I guess that at this point, it's speculative.
Probably researchers, divers will start searching this and other area under the sea to find what we were suscpecting but was never reveal...!
Great to be aware and conscious of all the greatness that will come our ways in days, months, years to come.
All my blessings.
