You are right it is a good start!
It is also a shame that the trees and land can't use money and that the Ecuadorians will give that money back to the oil companies over the coming decade in one form or another.
Unless it bankrupts Chevron then it is a win- win situation for them in the long run.
Thats how i see it anyway.
