the spies are everywhere and if they want to get you they will.
For me, i will not remain silent.
But no. I will connect with family on facebook.
Only other seekers and truth speakers who know the risks

Facebook, like money, and the internet are just tools... how we choose to use them is what matters.
Facebook is first a corporation so it has to make money for its share holders... so it will use any tactics necessary, if we allow it :).
I had to quit using it because in my opinion it was too invasive! If more people would go to alternative ways of connecting then Facebook would have to revise it attitude. It is the 350 mil. users that allow it to be what it is.
There always alternatives, if you look for them.

I use facebook as a means of commercial of my self, my publishing house and my published books ... there are only pictures that are released in relation of my books and the publishing house and my friends knows not to post personal pictures of me on facebook. So Pixel, I'm with you. I'm a member of other forums where I debate political issues as well but I'm not shy as my language is so small! And if the minister of state wants to hold any of it to my face I'll give'em hell in the form of truth and love and none corrupt ways of thinking, so let 'em come! I'm actually thinking of running for office although I don't think I stand a chance ... I'm not corrupt enough for politics ...
To everyone else ... read this newly posted thread on Avalon and remember that they use these laws too: http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?14108-The-48-Laws-of-Power
This is what you are to them! A means to an end!
Let's out shine 'em!

Thanks for this post shiva777. It should be obvious to everyone that there is next to no privacy left in the world. The internet is so open to spying and hacking that it's a mistake to think anything you say or do isn't being scrutinized on some level. Personally, i think that sucks, but it is what it is. I use facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. Luckily, my journey, to discover self and truth and wake up my mind, has alienated me from a lot of them. I will continue my path. Let them spy, I will not falter.

Haha so advertisers may be able to find that I enjoy chess, and guacamole and red wine etc. I don't put anything on there that really applies too much to demographics etc, and you are a willing fool if you do. It's a personal choice, I choose to stay away from politics on FB, as I know that could put me on some sort of list asap (everyone on avalon is probably on some list already anyway so whatever). Simply put, i never reveal my hand, not the important parts....

Yes, let's scare us by using Facebook for the 5,000,000th time.
Are we just supposed to disconnect from family and friends just because a few spies are abound? Facebook can be an useful tool in times of chaos. Can't think of a better way to mass-contact family and friends to warn them of danger.

I have no problem with facebook....just as I have no problem with a Gun.
It's how something is used, that determines it's worth to the human experience.
This is a pretty simple concept. I have accepted that everything I say and do can be cataloged. I find it very liberating.
Thank You NSA!!!!
Now I can just be myself. (Puffs his pipe smugly)

In fear of sounding rude ... people mannaged that even before the cellphone. The only difference is that now a *HUG* isn't as warm and loving as it used to be IRL ... even that has a short cut.

Yes but as the video said just by perusing through your messages/chats they could find out a lot!

I think facebook is also a distracting tool, we spend so much time and energy on it that we don't notice life and the experience of life passing by....hmm

People should hug more. I miss the warm, loving embrace of another soul.
Ah, life is empty. :(

I just learned of a woman's death today. She had been dead for a week and no one found her before that. It made me remember a youtube from Ireland where a guy wrote FREE HUGS on a card bord and held it up in the middle of the street. He gave a lot of hugs an I bet he spread a lot of happiness that day. I agree, hugs shouldn't just be something squeezed in between two ** I should be a tight, loving hug! Even a hello and a smile can keep loneliness at bay.
