View Full Version : Are we all connected to the same God?

I've been thinking about Spirituality and God. I've seen it mentioned that God is the Source. We are told that we where made in Gods image so we must be a copy of God or the Source. In my younger days I'll admit I wasn't the best pupil when it came to committing sins, however as I was made in Gods image I can only assume that God was the best of teachers and he is flawed just as we are. This body of mine is a bit of a mess now, and as God has got me into this mess I think it should be up to God to get me out of this mess. If I've been a little Devil at times then I must take after my Father and if I'm going to hell for my sins then I hope I'm going to meet my Father there, and I don't mean my Earthly Father I mean the Source, my God. This all reminds me of the movie the Clash of the Titans.
I don't believe there is only one God and that's why we are always fighting, we are just the puppets on the end of the strings being used to play there fighting Games, As above so Below. If this is the End Times then there will be a battle because the Gods will have to sort it out one way or the other. Either that or they sort it out beforehand. Someone has to be in charge of the Ship and you do need a second in command and that includes a Navigator and the rest of the crew. If you cannot work as a Team together then don't include me anyway.
You need maps to navigate stars just like here on this earth and without them you can get lost.
The computer is said to be the Beast System, so I've now decided to format my hard drive and stop using my computer. It appears to me that every Tom, Dick and Harry has access to it anyway. If I'm linked to the Source then in the words of Obi Wan Kenobi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obi-Wan_Kenobi), I'll use the Source or should that be the Force.
And by the way there is a guy here called Wan is that a coincidence or am I looking into it to much.
By the way I was sent a peace of paper by my mother and I thought it was funny to see the following also written on it.
Stop Iran in one month -> FBC + feintin :*
That message was sent to someone on David Ickes web site using the name Tintin with this message in a PM.
Hope I’ve got the spelling right, wasn’t written very well.
Weather that was supposed to mean anything I don't know. Most of what I had was also sent to that person.
If I'm looking into all these signs and timing to much and I should ignore them then, there will be no harm done will there?
The way I see it is, if these Gods can build a playground for us Humans then they can do just about anything.
Please take note that as of now, I'm in Gods hands as I'm formatting my computer, I've got other things to take care of.
Take care and have a good spiritual trip, because I'm being battered here.

PS By the way I've made a backup of this thread.

hi David,
There is only one God and no Devil...
Iran made a move to take over Jordan and Egypt and failed... so there is meaning in your note...

As far as I can understand your view points, you are mixing ETs with God ( an almighty source with human like personality ) with "the Source". Its best, if you start understanding the source of all that is by looking at its good and simple outward expressions like NATURE. By looking at nature it is obvious that "the source" gives free will to its fragments to do anything they want and to learn through any path that choose. So you cant really blame God for your body's condition, you've been allowed to do anything you want and thus You are responsible for everything that happens to you not GOD. Dont expect to get reward or be punished in the after life for your deeds for you will bring to yourself everything you've given others as thought and action IN THIS LIFETIME.
As for having multiple GODS; you need to realize that we live in a multidimensional universe, so it would make sense to have multidimensional expressions (different intensities) of one GOD ( one Energy source).
I hope these comments helped

Ok, well perhaps I'll jump in here, too, as I've also been thinking about God (although that's kind of a constant thing for me, really). ;-)
My experience of God has been multifaceted... I tend to resonate with the Hindu way of describing God. Which means, many gods and goddesses are envisioned and inspire heartfelt devotion, but ultimately they are all the manifestations of the One, Formless God. So, an underlying unity behind infinite possible forms.
In this way, I feel that we *are* all connected to the same formless God, because I feel that God is nothing but the ultimate Reality-- the energy of creation and existence-- which is Love.
But I think that, just as we all have different tastes in clothes, food, humor, etc., we also have different ways we would like to envision the personality and qualities of the God/dess/es we worship (or don't). And that is why there is such a multiplicity of spiritual traditions on Earth!

Thanks for that, and for the benefit of all here I'm only an Electrician who thought that by coming over to Thailand I could out live my retirement in some peace and quite until I died, however since being here I've never been so worried and sick in all my life. I don't know a lot when it comes to God or ET's all I know is that I'm suffering here and for what I don't know. I thought that the Thai people where nice people when I used to come over for a holiday but it appear they are not and that goes for Western people also.
If that small message has done some good in this world then I very happy, I just cannot understand why I'm suffering.
Just to add to this. If God is all loving and I suffering, I just wonder is God punishing me or is it people? If God is a force and a good force why would I be suffering. I don't beleive that God can fit Crowns on your Teeth that appear to me to be fitted with a Chip and also react to certain chemicals. Either that or God has instructed these people to fit them. Which is it. Or is there such thing as ET's? maybe some of our brighter friends here can explain.
And another thing, that small note was passed (with many other things) on to someone else a long time ago, a lot more than one month. I didn't know what happened to that note after it was sent I just decided myself to post it here just in case it did mean something.

Hi David,
Here's what I did when the world started going whackdoodle on me. I stopped looking at religion(s) for answers. I started getting back in touch with Nature. The birds, the trees, the ocean, the good people that radiate good energy. Don't give up on yourself. Find Creator by finding yourself. Don't get angry at the world ... that kind of energy is short-lived and just feeds itself. Opt for the lasting energy that is inside you ... and in all people with a soul. Try to draw this energy out in all people; all animals; and in all things that carry it. If you meet with bad energy; walk away. Hug a tree if you have to. The smell of the bark will get you back in touch with Nature. Whatever you do, do not give in to despair. Despair is just bad energy looking for a permanent home. And don't try to solve the world. The world is just too big. You are one grain on one beach of all the beaches. In any event, that's how I view things; and it has helped me connect with Nature, the Universe, and Creator.
To wit, walk away from the cubicles of religion and walk into the real spaces of spirituality, the most immediate space being your own inner chamber.
All the best to you (and your family). Keep well, my friend.

Thanks for that, funny thing you mention smell, I haven't been able to smell for a very long time as my sinuses are infected and have been infected for a very long time. I have been to the Doctors many times about it only to be given antibiotics, that would clear let me smell again for some time only to revert back to being infected. Just before I came to Thailand I went to see a specialist who said I might need an operation. My brother also suffers the same thing and has had operations that don't really do much good for him.
To be honest sometimes it is nice to smell flowers and the like, but sometimes it useful not to smell the bad things. All I know is that it's not nice to have because it also causes throat infections.
It's also easier said than done to be happy, especially when your head and body is being fried from the inside. And you have this horrible taste in you mouth all the time. I can't even use tooth paste. If this is my vibration level rising then I'm sorry to say it's not a nice experience.
Take care
David

David,
just as we were discussing on PM. Nature. It is your best teacher and your sanity.
