Tiny little bugger too. Imagine one of these flitting about your garden?

I am pretty tuned into birds and other wild life, and have seen tons of wild hummingbirds so my reaction of you got to be kidding me might be stronger than most ,but how many people will be fooled by this. Geeks all over the world will be working on spy bird catchers, small scale emp weapons etc. The surveilance war is on!
For every hack, there is a counter hack! Besides the gismos that detect and immobilize spy drones don't have to be as covert as the spy stuff.

Good to see how this works. Those who have lived in nature and specifically built gardens for hummingbirds and butterflies. That is not how a hummingbird looks in flight. Now we have to pay attention to the birds in out neighborhoods.
And for the record, living in the hood of LA, the latest thing is the hobby of homing pigeons which can carry one once of pure heroin on them. My neighbor breeds and trains them. Gets really ticked if he even thinks you are watching him.

Yikes! Not enough surveillance cameras watching us, I guess.

To Johnf - Most people are too oblivious to notice the REAL hummingbirds
Afterthought - I had a dream last night of hummingbirds the size of horseflies, who would bury their beak in a person's skin. I don't know what the purpose was, but I do know that the beaks had barb-like hairs making them painful and difficult to remove. My intuition told me that their purpose was highly nefarious, and after removal of them came a thickening of the skin and a 1" diameter bump remained, like a spider bite.
Not to get off topic. The content caused an association I thought I would express.

I believe they allready have smaller "RC Helicopter" or "Hover Drone" things in use with the police force.
They're equipped with a funny camera, and somethign that can monitor what's in the air - and pick out various substances. let's use THC for this example.
The police then fly this thing around the neigborhood, around people's houses. Looking for chimney's, air vents or even an open window. They are not breaking any law's by flying this thing around you're property. They fly it up to a window, vent, etc, take an air sample. Add you to the list if it's got something it doesnt like there. I dont think there's anythign you can do to defend yourself against this if one does come flying onto you're property.
Chances are if you took to a robot hummingbird or RC helicopter with a tennis Raquet they'd fine you for damaging their equipment even tho they're flying it over you're property without permission.
I can even see them trying a violence against nature under the guise of you're not suposed to be able to tell it's a robot therefor you were in you're head about to take a swing at a living bird.
even tho bird's dont sound like they have a mini motorbike engine strapped to their backs
but anyway...
