An article I came upon Apr. 16th really moved me.

It was a very good summation of some of the attitudes which have grown up around our current level of military foolishness around the world:

What I took away from it was a very clear conclusion that any "benefit" we keep telling ourselves is gained from what we are doing has been completely over-shadowed by how we are doing it.

Granted this wasn't a decision I came to recently, or even because of this article, but it sure did a good job of outlining the over all behavior, and such. I'd say it is a good article for anyone "sitting on the fence".
