Today, once again while perusing this thread I stumbled upon bloody, human, body parts. I know at least 1000 of you are going to tell me not to look. Too late, image burned in my mind. I am in a quandary, I cant view the posts anymore because this post alone will probably inspire MASSES of it. If I can't view the posts then...what am I doing in here? What kind of people are in here? I'm not going to even open anyones comments on my own thread. I guess I will have to get out of here...

agreed. if you see something that is not altogether appropriate for the forum, you should report it. the final decision of course is for the upper echelon but at least you will have spoken your mind. there are other people here who don't like the gore as well, so you're not alone.

I agree with the OP. I realize the Mods and Admins cannot be all places. I was fortunate to come into that thread late on a post commenting on the upsetting images. I scrolled carefully upward to keep reading and when I realized I might see an image that would disturb me I closed the thread.

War pictures and the gore they portray ought to be regarded as at least equivalent to porn. IMO they are worse but that is not the point here.

The point I am making is how much of our sick society some of us alternative types still carry around with us. Violence and images of it portrayed casually is part of the indoctrination of our MSM inuring us to the cost of war. A visual bludgeon to deaden our senses to horrors so that Empire can beat its own and other peoples to bloody pulps without it causing a rise amongst the sheeple.

I can only ask any poster to please be mindful of unpleasant images that sear themselves into our psyches. We who are here need no more convincing that war is horrific.

IMO the thread should be closed because dwelling on the subject (where your mind goes you are) actually feeds this negative energy which in fact IS pornographic. I wonder who would post such an image and why? They must answer to their own conscience concerning their motives but this sort of thing should not be encouraged in any way whatsoever, including excessive discussion about it.
