I had a wonderful experience last night….
I was in a large open hospital room standing next to a table. On the table laid a man with about a 3” to 4” incision just above the naval and crossways to the body. Also present was a doctor that had what looked like a “z” bent flat tube about 1” to 1.5” wide that was inserted into the incision with the opening facing the rib cage. Overhead was a real time x-ray monitor showing the skeleton system.
While looking at the monitor you could see the bones (ribs first) disappearing in a fairly uniform radius from the tube opening. “They” had not told me what I was witnessing and I thought it to be software manipulations for other than good reasons….but keeping to the science/medical aspects….
A short while later the body lay without any bones or cartilage as far as I could tell. I was then shown a chart with numbers to the right side indicating the time required for each procedure and the procedure heading a couple of columns over from the time. The first numbers were lower (i.e. 2,3,1,3, etc) and then about 2/3 the way down the numbers were larger (i.e. 4, 6, 5, etc) and then they were smaller again toward the end. I do not know if this was minutes, hours, days, or what the time reference was referenced to.
Sometime later I was shown the body fully functioning again as a person, they had regrown the skeleton system and the person was explaining what he had been through, not to me but to someone else. Apparently the tube contained nanites which removed or dissolved the old bone and cartilage. I do not know if the dissolved/disintegrated material was reused in the regrowing or if the tube exhausted the debris and new material was regrown. But anyway, it was a fascinating experience and of course there is much I am leaving out not related to the medical procedure but I certainly thanked “them” for the experience.
