M and X flares did knock them out, but they came back the next day...

http://sohodata.nascom.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/data_query_search_url?Session=web&Resolution=2&Display=Images&NumImg=1000&Types=instrument=LASCO:detector=C3 << check before feed went down, and after and see movement, and the flares and added magnetic effect on SOHO and now the flare;ing everywhere beside the downside, DUHH!

less relevant

Earth dodged a huge blast from the Sun's eastern limb at 0730 UT. The flare was recorded by SDO. I have been monitoring the sun off and on today and all images i've seen at SOHO and SDO are current. (todays)

The NOAA / Space Weather Prediction Center is ok,,

http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/alerts/index.html

I usually go here for the 3 day forecast

http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/forecast.html

I'm not too clever with this data,, just a boy scout,,,but, unless i've read this wrong looks like we're in for some kind of geomagnetic occurrence.....

VI. Geomagnetic Activity Probabilities 25 Feb-27 Feb
A. Middle Latitudes
Active 10/10/10
Minor storm 01/01/01
Major-severe storm 01/01/01
B. High Latitudes
Active 10/10/10
Minor storm 05/05/05
Major-severe storm 01/01/01

I'm not sure if i'm reading this right,, but the 10/10/10 i thought was the highest probability factor there is,,,however i don't quite understand the context of "active"

please could someone who knows something about this explain a bit for me...
