That is IMHO a 'gud un'
I thought it dematerialized, but on closer examination it clearly accelerates away unbelievably quickly. Too fast for the Human eye.
I think this is likely the case with many' De-materializations'
If Stan Deyo is correct, there would be no noticeable acceleration from the point of view of the inhabitants of the vehicle, just a nice steady acceleration maybe tacking several minutes as they are encompassed in a kind of 'time bubble' as well as 'Gravity bubble'

My first reaction is that this is a recon device.
The orbs are some type of probe that were docking with the main device.
