I know myself.
Do you know yourself?
If you do you can stop reading here.
If you dont you are in a glorious opportunity to find out now.
An approach to wotsoever will ultimately lead to disaster if you dont know
I cant see any reasons to postpone.
When you are dead you already know.
Was it you or your programming that read this message?
So who are you?

Or more importantly WHO ARE YOU.
Yes, sad enough this question seem to occupy many members, instead of finding out who they are themself.;)

LOL. I'm your friend, other than that I'm not sure. I've looked into the darkness. I have made a concerted effort to cleanse myself of dark energy. don't confuse dark energy with kicking cans, two different things. Dark energy is related to the dark side of emotions, the seven deadly sins.....
Lust – to have an intense desire or need: “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28).
Gluttony – excess in eating and drinking: “for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags” (Proverbs 23:21).
Greed - excessive or reprehensible acquisitiveness: “Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more” (Ephesians 4:19).
Laziness – disinclined to activity or exertion: not energetic or vigorous: “The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway” (Proverbs 15:19).
Wrath – strong vengeful anger or indignation: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1)
Envy – painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage: “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:1-2).
Pride - quality or state of being proud – inordinate self esteem: “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).
I find they can be balanced by these.......
I've emboldened the virtues to which I resonate strongly.

Good post Ice, totally agrrement. Nobody is perfect. Some realize this others dont.
Having read an other rather long and chaotic post today I realize the value of integrity.
And the other items in your list I think will take the rest of my life to sort out.
Love and carrots my friend. ;)

Hello Jorr
Great to see you back.
Do I know myself ? Not at all, but I am working on it. Can you help?
Always so difficult to know when the ego is stepping in and talking for me.
Too often I mistake it for myself.
If I do not know myself how on earth can I expect others to, and how can I expect to know others?
I have seen far too much judgement lately.
When we judge others we are almost certainly wrong as we can never know their full story as they an never know ours.
We all look through filters created by our own experiences, our programming as you say.
Here are some wise words from Don Miguel Ruiz
"You are never responsible for the actions of others, you are only responsible for you. When you truly understand this, and refuse to take things personally, you can hardly be hurt by the careless comments or actions of others. You can travel around the world with your heart completely open. You can choose to follow your heart always, and live with inner peace and happiness."
I love your list of virtues Icecold, so many!
I feel better just being on this thread.
Thank you both.
Namaste

We are always our self, from the cradle to our last breath. Often we imagine
we are something else but really its just in our imaginations.
We are born ourself and sometime during our first years we suddenly
realize I am , I exist. This is our treshold to 3D. After this we imagine we are this
and that. But actually we are never this or that. Its just in our imagination. But its
necessary that we imagine those things, because without it we cant explore 3D
But durinng the explorations its our self that is using wot we imagines ourself
to be to explore through. Love and carrots

He also said "You can't make me mad, I make me mad", "You can't make me sad, I make me sad"... So easy, yet, (as evidenced here of late) so easily forgotten....
