View Full Version : PERSONALITY MAP - project descibing world regions having a dominant personality

this is something i put together myself through certain observations and instinctually puzzle piecing things together that fit. as yet i dont have a definite final theory for this project, but it was something i put together to help coalesce certain ideas i had. it was put together in a general fashion, so there are of course holes here and there. certain info was copied and pasted in as a blue print for where i was heading. so as it is, its a work in progress...

Personality Map

So the original idea came to me from watching a bit of a hunch and set of ideas that flood in to my head after watching this talk given by Jordan Maxwell (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9072629460246678761#).

My idea was simply that each region of the earth has something of a dominant personality type based on the 12 zodiac personalities.
This is expressed through history recording certain people as having a generally global impact from their life choices.
As such you could say that a corrisponding sign for a person and region would allow a great deal of life success in whatever they pursued. It could also be said that the culmination of history to date for each region has had a patern which can theorised from. The dominating characteristics for that region would have an effect on people born and living there. Usually this is refered to as a culture for a country and a people. Certainly where multiple areas overlap there is obviously going to be conflict as that seems to be the overriding nature of humanity, at least from the point of view of the history makers and victors. What you are left with is a sense of each area of the earth having a property which is more unconscious today. When you travel to a different country half way around the world you can have a very different sense of being. Your sense of your surroundings, peoples, traditions and cultures can vary widely depending where you go. Originally I conceived this map project to find a way to explain why it is when we visit another area of the world we can experience a massive change in our lives.

http://i.imgur.com/bTUxjl.jpg (http://imgur.com/bTUxj)

When looking at the map I had made I realised there was something wrong with the first version (at the top of the page) in how the sections were laying over the earth. The more correct pattern can be seen in the map below. There is this generally wrapping sense to all the land masses as a whole in how they are laying out, and what I can only assume is part of the Coriolis effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coriolis_effect) or other gravitational forces. My imaging of it is like this, where the northern hemisphere is moving in a clockwise direction and the southern hemisphere is moving in an anti clockwise motion.

Thus the idea of the following map:

http://i.imgur.com/3jGZfl.jpg (http://imgur.com/3jGZf)

Its all rough, so Im happy enough for it to just be this accurate. Its expressing my interpretation of this idea. I think getting too mathematical with this gets it bogged down and I would lose focus on what Im trying to express. Once I was going through the sectioning and detailing of each map section I realised too that you are left with at least one theory hole.
These are all just broad strokes of ideas rather that imperical proofs per say. For example Sir Isaac Newton (for whom I share January 4th as a birthday) was a tortured genius. He had some success in his lifetime but only many years after his death did his works become full appreciated and understood. He had many aspects to his life which he kept hidden (his interest in alchemy was herracy during his time), however had he been able to perhaps live in the Asian region map for Capricorn perhaps he could have had greater success within his lifetime. But what can be the measure of success talking here? Perhaps its success on your own terms without the overt molestation of others who wish to dominate or interfere with your plans.

Another observation that could be made is that because people are all born during different times that obviously the natural eb and flow of support or criticism exists. People evolve dynamically some times in response to or regardless of external and internal factors.

Perhaps some event in that persons life had a profound effect on how the rest of their life turned out that it validates my postulation. Its usually thought that if Adolf Hilter had just been allowed to get in to art college that perhaps there wouldnt have been a Nazi Germany (seeing some of his artwork he really wasnt as bad as the people of the arts college in Vienna might have thought at the time). I wouldnt agree with this because there was a very large conspiracy which brought about National Socialism in Germany after World War I. If the people who chose Adolf Hitler to be in power as their front man at that time didnt pick him they could have simply picked some other charismatic figure, propelled them in to history, and a different name would be imfamous. Germany would still have progressed along a similar path, propaganda from all the Axis powers would have still been made, many people would still have died.

Interesting theory.. not quite sure what to make of it though..

It reminded me of the diffrences of culture here in Australia, between VIC and QLD (South and North). In oz the further north you go on the east coast, the more casual the attitudes of the people. This is generally atributed to the heat, but makes me think...

Interesting. This is a new approach to me. I like it.

Do we have to remain in the astrological maps with our thread of can we bring in other classification systems?

I am thinking of the work done by the reasearcher that worked for IBM in the 70's and describes different tendencies of peoples on the planet following 5 main categories. His name is Dr Hofsteed. He also worked as a consultant in this for the United Nations.

Personnally, I often work with the metaprograms in NLP (neurolinguistic) for personnality traits, and I love to apply it to different nations. I think it fits well.

kenkyushiryo,

how well does your map sync with CEO Carter's "Political Astrology"?

I haven't looked at it for a while and have lost my copy among many boxes of books. :)

Enneagrams were part of the philosophy of Gurdjieff.

They describe 9 personality types.

these are good questions which i have no answer to.

ive more of a general knowledge of the standard zodiac signs,
which is what this was based on.

it has no basis in science, just a thing i pieced together out of my

maybe! i know it overlooks how a persons chart is worked out,
but i went with the flow of the idea i had to see how far it could
be taken. just all the stuff popped out this way.

when you see all the posts in their totallity this is what i saw.
for the sake of writting it up it has to be seperated out like this.

honestly, i have no idea what it really indicates....
