bill, you know me, and my history of financial support over the last couple of years.

my donations are small, but to me very important. you may be embarrased in receiving donations, but guess what, i am embarrased in not knowing how much to give.

BLAKE, and LEELAH's suggestions that you display your donation button more prominately (do a - kerry cassidy) is a must.

the other main suggestion is a regular update of need. so that i and other avalon members, dont get to hear of you sleeping in your car again.

nothing compulsory to embarras anybody, volunteer the information, so that we can decide, individually, how to respond to your needs.

this is one area of communication you have been lacking in bill, you are hereby chastised.

Hello kevlor

Thanks for the interesting post - you mentioned that Bill's donation button is not prominently displayed and I have to agree I have never seen it. For the benefit of those wishing to financially assist Bill however small a donation can you please tell us where it is to be found ...

Best regards to you. JP

Maybe Bill feels embarassed and thinks that asking for donations does not fit an 'altruistic' ideal. Well lots of people are like that in this spiritual work, it somehow fits with being a spiritual person. But does it? Our 'means' to survive have been established using a monetary energy, sadly co-opted for profit by you know who. We still have to survive, eat. shelter and keep warm without the means to maifest (yet). What I am saying is that currency is an energy of exchange.

'WE' reading the site, getting soooo much, how do we balance that energy we are receiving. Bill (and others) keep on giving, and we keep on receiving, so how about it Bill, can you graciously receive a balance for the energy you have expended. Maybe balancing this energy exchange might bring the needed balance to Avalon.

A front page donation button would help people to balance what they are receiving.

This post.

I agree that it should be displayed without the need to go hunting for it, I will be donating once my financial problems are sorted out.

Speaking for me alone, if a donation button was easily seen and I had learned something new here then I would make a donation there and then, just as a thanks for that information gleaned. Even if it was only £1 gbp, then it would soon add up with the amount of visitors that venture here.

Here is a direct link: http://projectavalon.net/lang/en/donation.html

I wanna add that I agree that the donation button is hard to find. A donation button shuld be added more "In view on the forum" like under the "Settings" and "Log Out" button. =)

I never even saw the donation button until people brought it up here on the forums... I always wondered where bill got hes money from, hehe. Not like he can have a normal job AND do what hes doing for the community...

So a request to Bill:

Put a donation button in view at all times on the forum. If anyone bitch about it to you blame our request =)

Quote us and you can always point them to our request, I'm good at trolling people when they deserve it =)

I agree on this. I'm a street entertainer and I also hate asking for money but if I don't put out my hat then I don't get paid.

It's not like I can go to my landlord and clap in front of him and say " excellent room mate, thank you very much " or pat the gas man on the back and say " great gas this month, thanks.. no seriously thanks"

Little donation box in the corner please. Just slap it next to Advanced Search.

The Issue.

If Project Avalon is going to function properly Bill needs to be able to function properly. Sleeping in the car in the winter we have just had in the UK is not on.. Basic requirements including own cooked hot food, shelter, warmth and rest are essential.

The Solution.

We don’t know Bills circumstances, and frankly we don’t need to know for we can apply a bit of common sense.

I posted and suggested when the appeal was made for the server that we have a permanent “nurse thermometer” donation gauge on the front page of the forum. It doesn’t matter where it’s located but I would suggest on the right hand side above the Anglos Saxon post. This needs to be linked to the donation page and some back forum integration work completed in the control panel.

Here are thirteen template nurse thermometers all graded with the HTML code that needs to be inserted in the forum control panel and a little bit of integration work done. Obviously this needs to be completed by one of the administrators or Mod’s it doesn’t matter who does this provided it’s done.

http://www.fundraiserinsight.org/thermometer/

The Common Sense Bit.

We need to determine how much money needs to be raised per month that support’s Bill in some reasonable lifestyle and which also provides him with sufficient financial means to run the forum. It’s also quite important that he has a fund which enables him to run his car, or money for a local train ticket.

As previously mentioned we don’t need to know Bills circumstances but we can make some basic assumptions based on the cost of living, local taxes, the cost of gasoline, IT costs and server costs etc.

I think the figure should be £2500 GBP per month or 3500 EUR. The US Canadian and Australian dollar are almost in parity so £2500 GBP is $4000 per month.

This should in my estimation provide sufficient funds that would enable Bill to function and cover the costs of the server or whatever he needs to buy. Just consider for one moment suppose he drops his laptop and it breaks, what happens then? How much is a new laptop? What happens to the forum in the meantime?

It’s fair to say that if Bill had, and I’m going out on a limb here,.if he had decided instead continuing with his management consultant career he would be earning at the very least £100,000 per annum in the UK and probably considerably more, so I don’t think we are being excessive in setting the figure at £2500.

What the figure is doesn’t really matter as this can be changed easily at a later date. What must be agreed is do we proceed with this system and its implementation. Essentially I am saying we need closure on this issue, don’t we.

How do we decide on this scheme?

Obviously I can’t force this on the forum, but I say again “If project Avalon is going to function properly Bill Ryan needs to function properly” and so this is my suggestion based on the multitude of posts and threads on this matter where members want to help and contribute and where no permanent and visible system exist .

In order to reach closure and have this implemented and installed “we agree” that when TEN members click the “Thanks” button that this will be the trigger that requests the administrators to proceed and install the nurse thermometer.

Some Supporting Data.

At 15.30GMT Saturday 5th March 2001 the Project Avalon forum had 768 users on line, of which 201 were members and 567 were guests.

In addition the forum has 3,102 members of which 2,333 active members.

The most interesting figure here in my opinion is that 567 guests considered that on a Saturday afternoon it is better investing time on Project Avalon rather than doing anything else.

So essentially folks, if you can spare £1.00 this month or $1.50 that’s it sorted. Others who contribute privately can continue doing so, but I do think we need some basic system in place, I feel certain you would agree.

Now Bill…..

The members are concerned. The members would like to help out financially in just a very small way. The members need some way of contributing towards the success of Project Avalon and your daily wellbeing. In so doing the members are engaging with Project Avalon, and this continual engagement will progress Avalon towards the future that we all seek.

You have decided that advertising is not appropriate on the forum. I’m almost certain all the members, would support your decision. Other revenue opportunities are available but we all know don’t we, that proceeding down this route detracts from the “essential spirit” that is Project Avalon. It’s very unique, please sit back and take time reflecting on your wonderful achievement. You can do this by clicking here; http://www3.clustrmaps.com/counter/maps.php?url=http://projectavalon.net#totals

One moment if you will. I’m freaking out, precisely how does one manage to get so many people in the middle of the Amazon jungle no less, logging onto Avalon? Novosibirsk in darkest Siberia at least 100 guests logging on. It’s staggering. In the middle of the Pacific Ocean west of South America two red dots! The Red Sea is no longer in the Middle East rather a Sea of Red is now over Europe. It’s incredible.

We do don’t we, need to get the “housekeeping” right and so if the members would like to proceed with this I very much hope you will allow this to happen. From the North Slope of Alaska to the southern tip of South America, we can’t carry on like this; money is needed for coal to keep the boiler burning…

PS On another thread they are auctioning Bills Hat! It’s at £80.00 so far, we cant have this what are you going to auction next month!!

Hi, All -

Many thanks for this. It is sincerely appreciated.

It's always easy to find something if you know where it is!

But I really do appreciate that it might be easier to find. There could easily be a donations link added to the Project Avalon forum main menu as well. Ilie is our most able technical guy, and I'll ask him how easy this is to do.

While I am not able to contribute any funds, I am willing to share anything I have of value in a fair exchange of energy and loving concern. There is some information that came to me recently that will help understand Charles name and his Master, he was named after Prince Charles, a great disappointment to his father. Our Charles was taken in as a surrogate who remains unrecognized where he was part of the shadows and intermingled in MI4/5/6 affairs and occasionally interfacing with CIA. His master is not St. Germain but rather someone who has great power and little spirituality. It may help explain why so much darkness has come to Avalon and so much will leave with him if he ever goes. I received this information having asked St. Germain if he could be the sponsor and this is what I received along with a mention that Charles was in Paris when Princess Diana was killed, he was in the tunnel and should be asked about his presence there. Here is the unveiling of the Great Master...who Charles serves:

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/esp_sociopol_depopu12.htm

If one wants to become St. Germain or even one of King Arthur's Knights ~ kindness and lack of a genocidal streak like unto the Hitler model would be most helpful but that's just my opinion. My contribution is heartfelt but of course, as always, may be subject to ridicule. As I have no emotional or investment in these matters I leave it to your discernment whether it offers any value whatsoever. Nevertheless I offer it here for the benefit of any who might be interested. As in matters of the heart ~ weigh it and discard it ~if there is no resonance.

Much love! And so it is... ask and you shall receive. This doesn't just apply to me, it applies to each and every one of us. So ask! ; ) xoxox

What nonsense. Be careful what you read on the internet.

(and that's an understatement...)

I thought of the name 'Charles' myself. It was a last minute thing - made us both laugh. It was minutes before the interview started. I had to call him something! It was just a good English name. If I'd thought about it more, I'd have chosen a better one, like Sebastian or Algernon. :)

The 'upper class' connotation was a deliberate gentle joke. Charles is a cockney, of course, and the other end of the English social scale.

I had originally called him 'Julian' (this is on record here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?11934-Questions-for-Charles-ONLY%21&p=105010&viewfull=1#post105010)) - but then the Wikileaks story broke. At that time I had never heard of Julian Assange. Clearly they could not co-exist.

PLEASE - if you get hold of idiocy like this that comes from some blogger's vivid imagination, run it past me first before publishing on Avalon. Thanks.

Bill and other Beloved Avalonians,

I'd like to ask for mutual respect and consideration. As we know, the truth and lies are different at every level.

Even if Charles isn't literally the son of Prince Philip or from the upper class, and even if Bill wasn't aware of a connection when he chose the name Charles, that doesn't mean Philip's goals for population reduction are irrelevant. Nor does it mean there's no connection between Charles and negative forces behind TPTB/W. Charles has told us he's deeply connected to them.

Please let's be careful when using words like nonsense and idiocy with each other.

Bill, I'm not sure what kind of information you'd like us to run past you before posting?

Love and gratitude,
Heather

@Heather... I don't want to be putting words in Bill's mouth -but- I believe what he is getting at is that there is enough confusion and misinformation about the Charles Material right now that we need to be intelligent about throwing more comments out there before checking with him first. Remember, he has spent a great many hours talking with him and knows much more than a) anyone here right now, b) much more than he can currently say for a variety of reasons unknown to us.

We all need to start trusting Bill a little more and stop clouding the situation further by posting in such a reactionary way. My ask as a fellow Avalonian, is that we at least do some basic investigation before simply posting up something like this, and as I see it, a great first step is to simply ask Bill privately for his opinion on it.

Not following something like that will lead to more arguments, lies and people leaving? Is that what you want?

I know I don't.

WOW. just... wow.

Darla,

Neither 'Charles', nor 'Atticus' is the man's real name. Period.

The name 'Atticus' was chosen by one of the mods.

What you have posted is just the product of a fanciful imagination of an internet blogger without the inclination to check their facts before posting something.

How he got the moniker 'Charles', and later, 'Atticus', is clearly documented here on Avalon.

Please don't add to the huge disinfo fire surrounding 'Charles'.

Point taken, Phil. Bill has spent a lot more time with Charles than the rest of us have (as far as I know). I respect and admire Bill very much.

Not sure what you mean by "clouding the situation further by posting in such a reactionary way?" I believe Darla and I both posted information with positive intent. And Bill has every right to indicate when he disagrees with something. Hopefully we all have the right to express differing views respectfully?

While it's still not clear to me what comments need Bill's approval, I will strive to post truthful information with positive intent.

Sounds like we have similar goals for Avalon--respectful communication being a big one.

Much love,
Heather

No me neither. I thought this would be more of a talk about his journey to here. Thought there might be a few hair raising anecdotes. It is really astonishing that we have a celebrity observing us most days and none of us ever say "Hey Bill, what kind of crazy stuff happened to you before Charles stepped in?" Or maybe someone knows his history better and say: "Hey Bill how about that time your camel got sick when you were alone in the dessert?" If he wants to talk Charles stuff I'd be delighted. Whatever it is, it's sure to be well told.
