During a conference of press organized by the BBC, Gerry Anderson announced the stake in preproduction of one series based on the universe the universes of Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet And the Mysterons, famous television series of the end of the 60s, realized with animations of puppets. Gerry Anderson simply declared: " I am going to produce a new series Thunderbirds. And it is official ".

Gerry & Sylvia Anderson were delivering the goods with miniature work that rivaled that being done by some of the big screen boys.Obviously, if we compare with the productions of science fiction nowadays, this series can seem totally désuette and uninteresting. But if we cross this obstacle, we shall be amazed, for time, used technologies and special effects (More than 90 by episode).The thing I love most is the thing that always appeals to me about Anderson shows, the space hardward and ships...
Unbeatable, and back when I was a kid it made Battlestar Galactica look pretty poor in comparison.
