what gives you inspiration in life? (or who...)
what opens your heart and expand your breath, what gives you a sense of catharsis?
I wish this to be the place we can share the things that lifts us up, make us smile, make us nod our heads in agreement and knowing, makes us shed a (hidden) tear.
please share yours! :D

For several years the British artist, Jason DeCaires Taylor, has added up his love of sculpting with the love of diving in the sea, And this by creating a specially designed sculpture to be sunken in water, without ecological damage. In addition, these sculptures were designed to be artificial bases for the development of sea corals.
The first piece in the presentation is called " The quiet evolution", and it includes about 400 statues of people, natural size, submerged in the sea within Depth of 9 meters, in Cancun, Mexico.
The work process is shown in the second part of the movie

Hey Limor, there is one inspiration of late that I think about a lot. It comes with the voice and the message of a beautiful woman called Miranda Kelley.
There is something about her mission in life, after incredible adversity, to come out and support a movement that encompasses the protection and love for all children on this plane. It was this first presentation she gave at the Project Camelot Awake and Aware conference last year, that moved me. Best wishes, will post from time to time to share other musings as they come to mind. Zebra.

This is great! Thank you for all your small drops of inspiration. I hoped that this thread can be a place to go to when the heart needs its remedy.
Zebra - I remember watching Miranda on the 'Awake & Aware' livestream and thought how much courage and strength this woman has. certainly inspiring.
Ineffable Hitchhiker - Thank you for your beautiful and delicate choices, your own inspirations really touched my soul.. Michael's story is absolutely awe- inspiring, so much decisivness in this man. Good for him.
I shed some tear with Oden's owner knowing how it feels to lose such a companion and friend. It reminded me of my Great Dane and past friend - Zulu. also wonderful photography.
Meeradas - Thank you. If I haven't done so already, I would like to incarnate as a bird.

I have watched this short length interview with Regina Meredith, wich is the co-founder of " The consciousness media network" (http://www.cmn.tv/category/interviews/)website, a journalist and a past TV news anchor, also seems to be a wonderful and radiating human being.
she says: "I think the earth is a blast".
I find it always such a joyful experience listening to her

My sister recently showed me this band called Enter Shikari. I'd never heard of them before, and I cant stop listening to their stuff. So diverse, so creative, they produce music that is rock, rave, metal, and all kinds of other stuff... but its not just that, its about society being messed up but theres a hope to their sound that is inspiring. And the fact that theyre English inspires me even more :D

Thanks for introducing this band, Titan Orion ~
How about the brilliant 'Haken' ?
(For those who can tolerate progressive music for more than five minutes. There are quite some remarkable parts out there!)
And yes, the words of their songs says a lot. They are too English :D (wich makes us biased from the start ;)

Thanks, Limor, for starting this thread - I love it. Lots of things inspire me for very different reasons. Here are a few examples.
So many young people have extraordinary talents. In the last two weeks, both of these very old and sensitive souls made me cry.
The first is a much too short clip of 16 year old Fatai. I could listen to her for hours. In fact, I did. She has several more videos on YouTube going as far back as 11 years of age. She is a very talented songwriter, guitarist, pianist and more.
The boy in the second video is Jotta, aged 12 in a clip from 2011.

The next two stories inspire me because they show that we CAN repair the Earth - QUICKLY - and because they helped me to realise that my mission is to do these things on a very big scale.

Under this touching video, someone left a comment:
" Very exciting video of a bondage between a dog and a child with Down syndrome. As a father of a Down syndrome child, I can often see how people are avoiding to approach our "different" children. If they only knew how to give a smile, a little pat on the cheek, to extend a warm welcome, how much it would help to our children's solitude and to our own hearts, but how few are those type of people..."

This love story of Don and Maxine Simpson is truly an inspiration, is that the true meaning of soul mates? or, perheps that was an agreement to come together and spend time on earth and than leave together.
May both of them live happily ever after
