I changed my avatar for a reason. The Ark story has been stuck in my craw for weeks.
Even before the Charles interview was posted by Bill, I and my author friend were emailing about the Ark(S).
You see, he wrote a book, called, "Following the Ark of the Covenant", and because of his extensive knowledge, firsthand, from different 'secret' groups, he has an insiders view of the bigger picture.
Just today, as I reread his book for more clues, this-
P. 154
"Suffice it that the Templars believed that as many as six Arks were built (and perhaps even more later) for the specific purpose of forming a powerful communication device."
And-
"The chest itself, because of the sacred geometry of its construction, together with other relics contained within, possesses great power. According to Cabalistic teachings, when the chest is opened a vortex of energy is activated, enabling one to penetrate the dimensions of space and time."
More on this shortly.

From what I read in Jon Peniel's Children of the Law of One and the Lost Teachings of Atlantis, the Ark was a capacitor which, like modern capacitors, could not be touched without dangerous effects. Those of higher vibrations could handle it. Per the book, when the Jews fled Egypt, they took the Ark which set the Pharaoh off into pursuit. Over time, knowledge of how to use the Ark was lost.
I was told that the Ark is in Ethopia and that the priest who guards it lives only a few years after assuming responsibility for it.

@slvrfx: If your author friend isn't Graham Hancock, I recommend looking up anything you can find by him.

My friend is Kerry Boren and here is his website where he has the books I have used in my search-
http://www.oboran.com/index_files/Page777.htm
I have the last four books on this list.
He and I talked about four arks in particular. The one in Ethiopia is just a copy, the son of the Queen of Sheba took from his father, King Solomon. (Solomon was aware of the threat of the original being stolen, so he hid it and put a copy in its place.)
Boren claims the original is somewhere on the British Isles.
Boren has in his books, impeccable genealogical charts going all the way back to Adam.
He was friends with Laurence Gardner who is another true expert when it comes to these matters.
(Hehe...the matter, MATTERS.)
Yes, I have read Hancock's works.

Some more on the Arks-
P. 155 of previously cited book by Boren-
"Henrietta Bernstein has also recognized the plurality of Arks, and speculates on the reason and purpose for there being more than one."
'It is believed that copies of the Ark serve a positive function by their placement. People who really understand the grid can send messages with the Ark......The Ark of the Covenant can also be used for interstellar communications. The grid systems encapsulating the earth can be employed laterally between human beings and other species, but it is also an effective grid system vertically, through other dimensions, for interstellar communications. It is conceivable that we were once a sacred planet and were conscious of inter-dimensional connection to the rest of the universe." Bernstein
Hmmm........does this sound familiar?

Some good info there slvrfx. The only thing i read about the ark(single)
is that it was used to talk with God. That was many years ago and i
never really did any research into it. Thank-you

"Esoteric tradition maintains that the Ark of the Covenant originated in Atlantis, and Atlantis was ancient America, or part thereof. The Ark found its way to Egypt, and from thence Moses brought it to the Holy Land, where Solomon erected a temple to house it circa 950 B.C. By the this time, five replicas of the True Ark had been made, and distributed to various parts of the world. A secret society arose around each of the Arks, to preserve and protect them for future generations. One of these, ostensibly the True Ark, was brought from Jerusalem to Ireland circa 580 B.C., and hidden up in the great "mergech" inside the great hill if Tara."
"Following the Ark of the Covenant" Kerry Boren P. 156
Some people might not want to give what Boren says credence, but remember, he had access to the Mormon church's secret vault, when he worked for them as a genealogist and historian (for 15 years). He also was allowed access to a Rosicrucion vault after he passed an 'integrity' test that took three years.
SERIOUSLY. If you want to know who these families are, that the 33 represent, whom Charles speaks of, READ SOME BOOKS.

The Discovery Channel program MythBusters determined......... For the religious experience aspect of the batteries, a replica of the Ark of the Covenant was constructed, complete with two cherubim. Instead of linking the cherubim's golden wings to the low power batteries, an electric fence generator was connected. When touched, the wings produced a strong feeling of tightness in the chest. Although the batteries themselves had not been used, it was surmised that, due to the apparent lack of knowledge of electricity, any form of electrical sensation from them could equate to the divine presence in the eyes of ancient people. In the end, the Baghdad battery myth was found plausible on all three accounts.

There is a 1,000 tonne obelisk made from one solid piece of stone in Ethiopia.
Our most powerful cranes today can only lift 200 tonnes.
According to Nassim Haramein's research The Ark held a mini-black hole as it's power source. And my i-pod only uses a lithium battery, strange eh?

slvrfx,
I have a question. In your opinion, do the replicas function as the original does or are they merely symbolic, i.e. decoys.
Thanks in advance! :)

I was surprised nobody mentioned the work of archeologist Ron Wyatt. It's truly amazing and his sons produced some follow up video in the Holy land after his death which details how the government closed off the area where Ron found the Ark.

I believe they've been made to function in the exact way the original one does. When Charles wrote on a thread about how the artifacts were being stolen, by a group that needs only two more pieces to complete their 'machine', which he says was a copy, I believed this to be his main concern. "They" are reproducing another, which they intend to use. Charles also referred to 'all hell breaking loose'.

This is VERY IMPORTANT.
Dec. 10th of 2010, I came across a link on George Ure's page, that had Wikileaks wallpaper....I lightened the image and found the ARK.

Thank you for saying this was your thought too.
I've got others contacting me in private about their feelings on certain issues, and let me tell ya, our number is growing.
(I wish people who are asking so many questions would start paying attention. The information is all out there, and has been all the way back in time. We're especially fortunate with all of the discoveries and the technology we have to access this, to be able to find it easily.)

Who remembers in the Sumerian texts, and other ancient texts that tell the same story, how the Anunnaki had an extremely powerful weapon which they had hidden away in a mountain, and they'd pledged never to use it...
But Enlil, who was very angry because Enki had combined human DNA with that of the Anunnaki, went to war against Marduk (Enki's son) who was the King of Babylon, and Enlil pulled out this weapon and used it against Enki's descendants.
And the drama continues to this day...Enki who wanted to advance humans and cause them to be 'in their image' and Enlil who wanted humans to ever remain slaves.
