Facts about Angels

• Angels are invisible spirit beings (Numbers 22:22-31) but can take on human form (Genesis 18:2-8).
• Angels are strong and powerful (I Chronicles 21:16; Revelation 18:21; Psalm 103:20; II Peter 2:11; Revelation 10:1, 18:1).
• Angels are radiant from being in God's presence (Judges 13:6; Luke 2:9). They behold the face of God (Matthew 18:10).
• Angels are not all-knowing (Matthew 24:36; II Thessalonians 1:7) but they are wise (II Samuel 14:17, 20).
• The Bible always speaks of angels in the masculine gender. Angels in heaven are not given in marriage (Matthew 22:30).
• Angels are immortal: they do not die (Luke 20:36; Hebrews 2:9, 15-16).
• Angels are holy (Matthew 25:31).
• Angels do not need rest (Revelation 4:8).
• Angels protect God's people (Psalm 34:7, 91:9-13).

Angels possess intelligence superior to that of humans (II Peter 2:11). They are not limited by an earthly body and can move instantly through space. In fact, in a single instant, an angel can come from the highest heaven down to earth or go from one end of the universe to the other.

Hey thanks for the reminder Come As You Are.

I have had many beautiful experiences with these amazing beings.
They have been a huge part of my journey over the last few years... I'm even working on a novel they inspired.
Your post talks about them in the biblical sense but, that is only part of the picture.
I have found them to be quite hilarious at times actually.
They are loving in the extreme.
They can appear in many guises - I have had a beautiful 'child' angel who was learning, hang around for a while who used to sit on the floor in fascination watching me.
I don't see them as such but feel them and see them in my minds eye.
They will give information in some really creative ways.
Once I was on a plane sitting in a window seat. An angel appeared at the window (very beautiful face) as the plane was taking off. His hair (shoulder length) wasn't affected by the wind. This was to show me how I can choose the reality I'm experiencing. I don't have to be in the wind if I don't want to... I thought this was really cool.
They will only assist if you ask. They are not to be worshipped in any way. They love us unconditionally and are always ready to assist.
A friend of mine got freaked out when I told her I was in touch with them and told me that I should watch out because there were some really bad ones. I know some people believe this but I've never had a bad experience.

This is the topic which interests me. Thank you for your opening. I have read several books on that subject. However, my inner feeling is saying that these beings can possibly exist, in some way, my rational mind wants to have some evidences. Despite having experienced many strange situations in my life I have not experienced direct encounter with angels, neither seen any of them. I am not sure what to think. Sometimes I wonder, if it is just creation of our mind as anything else. I believe in existence of other inteligent forms in outer space. I am sure there are numerous life forms and beings in Universe as same as the life itself is more complex than we know or perceive today, so there might be chance for presence of angels, although, I am quite sceptical with reading Bible and using it as source of reference(which, from my point of view, is very distorted by translations, timeshift, cultural diferences etc.) It is just my point of view. On internet there are many references about angels, many of them are contradictory, so it is diffulct to say if people realy share truth. Anyway,considering what is going on in the world, It would be nice and good for humanity if such helpfull beings really exist ;)

I believe even though I have not seen one.
I have been touched by one.
Went to a work shop put on by Dianne? Cooper to please my partner of the time
She has written quite a few books.

There were about 300 people present
I was having a little smile at all these gulible love and light people I did not buy it.

Dianne said your guardian angel is standing behind you, again I smiled inwardly.
Then I felt a "hand" on my shoulder, it was "real" but there was no one there, I looked round, no one there.

Now when I meditate there is some times like a soft breeze on my cheeks as though an Angels wings are brushing my face.

Believe me I am very well grounded I want proof of everything.
I cant prove Angels are so. I dont need to I know.

to the best of my knowledge, i have never encountered one.

I've even prayed to God to send one to talk with me but that
never happened.

I still believe they are real though and i would still love to
talk with one.

In my experience, you simply start turning your mind to them. Invite them in. They offer much teaching and inspiration.
They are not a big 'event' type experience. They are a very fine, sophisticated vibration.
I got a strong message one day that they actually love to be contacted just to say hello.
Their presence can be very subtle. Keep tuning in and you will begin to feel them.
They all have unique signatures.
They will send messages. Feathers are one signal they use.
The archangels are more dramatic and some ( like Michael) can change the vibration of a room profoundly.
In the book I'm working on one of the characters is aligned with Archangel Ariel... I was thinking about this particular angel intensely at one time and went on an early morning walk to the beach. On my way back, parked in a spot right off the road almost in the bush, was a van with "Ariel Massage" in big letters on the side. Things like this will happen - little reminders they are with you... Beautiful.
They also have joined me in yoga classes and in the swimming pool! They love to dance. They embrace you with their wings. They are very funny with the physical gags too.
Sometimes I forget them.

Why would you want to talk to an angel when you can talk to God?
It's like asking to talk to a secretary when you can talk to the CEO :)

Well i see God as the tapestry maker and creation (the universe, animals, nature, humans, angels) as the tapestry.
