In August 1997, Gene Ray, an American electrician living in Florida, posted an early draft of Nature’s Harmonic Simultaneous 4-day Time Cube on his website www.timecube.com (http://www.timecube.com/). Using only colorful and oversized HTML text, occasional diagrams and ill-equipped metaphors, Ray argued that time-space continuum of the universe is shaped like a cube, while blaming the academic circles for denying the ineffable truth of “four days per rotation”:

In the grand scheme of Time-Cubism, 4 is considered the supreme number of the universe and thus time-space continuum can be divided into four classes, much like the Greeks did with the four humours and the four elements. These classes are called corners, which can be applied across several category fields:

•The four corners of the day are midnight, 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM
•The four corners of complexion are black, white, Asian, and Indian
•The four corners/stages of a person’s lifetime are baby, child, parent, and grandparent
•The four corners of a person’s head are the face, two ears, and back of the head
•The four corners of Earth are four arbitrary quadrants
•The four corners of the year are the four seasons

I watched as many of the 12 part youtubes as my mind would allow, before the headache arrived...

ok, 4 sides to the earth and time, but where's the evidence or causal relationship to his 4 sides theory to anything we experience or not?
just seems like he came up with it and that's it. no methodology, no data, no nothing. just a statement backed by 'if you don't believe, you are dumb.'
if so, I'm on board!

next, the 4 corners wrist watch...

Went to his website...wow, just wow. Endless scrollbar with a wall of text containing the strangest sentences I've seen in a while.
To my surprise: Next Page!!
Another endless scrollbar with the same crazy text...

I'm open and interested, but I need something to work on...other than: you are dumb, evil and educated stupid....

Oh well, maybe he is right and we all are stupid :P

the interesting thing is that this guy evidently must have some kind of background in physics or metaphysics.
but what went wrong?

here's a bio:

Not sure anything went wrong. I think it's one of those things that strikes some as totally outrageous at first, but then makes good sense after the initial shock wears off, like it or not.

If one is interested (and has the patience), I would highly recommend watching the entire 18-part interview with the Australian kid. Ray says a lot of mindblowing stuff I had never heard or thought of before. He's old, kinda crusty and funny to watch, but he's on to something, IMO.
