RMT is backing the TUC call for a huge national protest in London on Saturday, March 26 2011 to demonstrate mass opposition to the ConDem government's vicious cuts programme. Visit the March for the Alternative website for the latest info.
The cuts will have a hugely detrimental impact on RMT members and their families and represent the biggest attack on British workers and their public services in decades.
RMT is organising cheap transport for members and their families to London from across the country on March 26. Download RMT transport arrangements or find alternative transport to the demo.
http://www.rmt.org.uk/Templates/Internal.asp?NodeID=140503
The government says that its deep, rapid cuts cannot be avoided.
Ministers claim that they are the only way to deal with the deficit. Anyone who doubts this is a "deficit denier".
We disagree – and so do many expert economists. We don't deny the deficit. It was an inevitable result of the worldwide recession. Of course it has to come down.
But that does not mean that the government's way is the only way. Its decision to close the deficit in just four years, and to do so by cutting £4 in spending for every extra £1 it will raise in tax is not the only option. There are alternatives.
Find out about the cuts in your area, from public toilets in Bromley to cutting Fire and Rescue services in Merseyside . Every area in the UK is being effected, these Kleptocrats have zero morels and will cut all and any public service willy nilly.

Royal Bank of Scotland was branded ‘a disgrace’ after handing its chief executive Stephen Hester a £7.7million pay package for last year – even though the bailed-out bank lost more than £1billion.
The bank revealed that Mr Hester and eight of his top team are sharing a bonus and shares windfall totalling £28million for 2010, despite presiding over a dismal performance.
Mr Hester gets a £1.2million base salary, plus a £2.01million bonus in shares and the chance to get a further £4.45million under a long-term incentive scheme.

THE SIEGE OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE: March 24+
WHO: YOU
WHAT: THE SIEGE OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE
WHEN: MARCH 24+
WHERE: 12 DISTRICT FED BANKS PLUS BOARD OF GOVERNORS IN DC
WHY: FREEDOM
These protests are in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the UK and all those fighting for their economic and physical freedom in the world. The United States is need of a vocal and physical front. A demonstration that is too broad will fall short. Target the Federal Reserve. Organize protests at the 12 Federal Reserve banks. Our goal is to picket the Fed so that there is no movement into the building. We are under siege by the banks and their cohorts; we are entrapped in moats of debt, and they have turned our government against us. Democracy and liberty erode in the face of their choleric assault. Thus it seems that there is no way to break the insidious monster that slowly strangles our economy, throwing millions into poverty and desperation. Class and money are irrelevant in the eyes of eternity. Stand up for your brothers and sisters who have no voice. Stand up for those who are being silenced. On March 24 we will place the great instrument of those who assault liberty, the Federal Reserve, under siege. We will not back down, and the longer we hold out, the more our ranks will swell, and the more effective we will become. You are inspired, now be the inspiration.
Gather all the support you can. Reach out to friends. Spread the word. Are you Federally Disturbed by the Federal Reserve?
The Goal: multi-day protest beginning on March 24 (6 AM) that will shut down the Federal Reserve
The Means: Place the 12 banks under siege. Allow no one into the banks. Peaceful disobedience. The 24th is a Thursday, so hold out until Friday. Return on Monday. STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.

IPCC starts probe into false arrest claims
The policing watchdog is investigating claims that officers colluded in the false arrest of a protester during last year's student demonstrations in London.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission confirmed today that it is looking into the circumstances in which a man, who has not been named, suffered a facial injury and was arrested last December.
The 20-year-old attended the demonstrations in Parliament Square on Thursday December 9 2010, during which he allegedly breached the police cordon.
He was chased and caught by an officer and his tooth was chipped during the arrest. Continued...

A Bad Bankster
http://www.treehugger.com/ricardo-neis.jpg
Richard(Ricardo) Neis, 47, works at the Brazilian central bank. He was the reckless driver who plowed into a group of bikers in Porto Alegre in late February 2011. About 100 bikers were blocking a road in a "Critical Mass" demonstration, and Neis stepped on the gas several people over. Reportedly, the banker was driving with his 15-year-old son.
Neis has been placed under psychiactric care and charged with attempted murder.
If you read the other article he has placed himself in psychiactric care, I wonder if he has done this for the court as advised by a lawyer. Of course that is speculation on my part.
IMO they all need psychiactric care of some sort
And its Ricardo Neis not Richard Neis, they got it wrong I think..

---------------------------
On Friday night an angry motorist mowed down a group of about 150 people on bicycles riding for Critical Mass in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The motorist accelerated his vehicle directly through the group of riders, injuring at least 15 riders and sending 8 victims to the hospital ER (the number of reported injuries varies across sources).
At the time of the original posting of this article (February 26th) this callous cold blooded attempted murder hadn’t made the news outside of Brazil, so this article consolidates the information gathered from various Brazilian news articles. The mainstream English media are finally reporting on this story as of February 28th.

I hope he finds a good way to clear his conscience. Spilling the beans on any corruption from his bank would be a good start, of course this is if there is any..
Edit to add - Another good article here about his egregious act -
As Ricardo Neis, a bank official from Porto Alegre, Brazil, was driving with his teenage son early last Friday evening, he found himself having to share the street at the pace of a group of cyclists -- everyday folks of all ages and walks of life who gather together once a month for a leisurely group ride, presumably safe enough in numbers to enjoy the public roads normally dominated by cars. But Ricardo Neis didn't want to 'share' the road at all. Instead, he placed his foot on the gas and proceeded to run over the sea of humanity before him, nearly killing dozens of innocent cyclists whose only fault was getting in his way.
Now Ricardo Neis is facing charges of attempted murder.
After running down the cyclists last Friday, Neis and his son abandoned the car; Police found it a short time later and were able to identify him as the owner. Contiuned...

I'm, sorry if I offend anyone. I really have to say something about all of this. In years past, when a country, or a state faced problems such as this, our government would rise to the occasion and unite us; would councel us to plant gardens, and continue working toward a resolution, toward a future. I don't see this happening now. I don't see our government in the USA asking us to tighten up our belts and help one another, I just see more spending and printing of money. What I see in the middle east are people protesting for jobs and a livable wage, they may even believe they are protesting for a democracy but will that really be the result? Here they are protesting for the essentials, affordable food, etc... then the UN steps in stretching it's grip. Then I see our President going to war with Libya without the consent of our Congress but with the consent of the UN. "Supposedly" these protests are pro-democracy but that isn't the real issue, it's people being put under financial pressure all over the world, but not so much I noticed, in South Ameria. The arguement, of couse, is that we saved innocent protesters in Libya from being killed by their own government, so how can we be be against that, even if our President didn't wait for our Congress to give consent?
In so many ways, I feel like we should protest peacefully against the Federal Reserve but my greater senses tell me the IMF will survive, as will the mega-corps. My greater senses tell me this is exactly what was planned for greater control from within a central world government. With the wealth being held back like it is, in the hands of the few, how can it be for anything else?
Well, this was a quick note on my part, so if I repeated myself, I appologize but there is so much more to all of this than meets the eye.

CAUGHT ON TAPE: Former SEIU Official Reveals Secret Plan To Destroy JP Morgan, Crash The Stock Market, And Redistribute Wealth In America (http://www.businessinsider.com/seiu-union-plan-to-destroy-jpmorgan#ixzz1HLrT6tOt)
http://www.businessinsider.com/seiu-union-plan-to-destroy-jpmorgan#ixzz1HLrT6tOt
A former official of one of the country's most-powerful unions, SEIU, is detailing a secret plan to "destabilize" the country.
Specifically, the plan seeks to destroy JP Morgan, nuke the stock market, and weaken Wall Street's grip on power, thus creating the conditions necessary for a redistribution of wealth and a change in government.
...
Lerner's plan is to organize a mass, coordinated "strike" on mortgage, student loan, and local government debt payments--thus bringing the banks to the edge of insolvency and forcing them to renegotiate the terms of the loans. This destabilization and turmoil, Lerner hopes, will also crash the stock market, isolating the banking class and allowing for a transfer of power.
Lerner's plan starts by attacking JP Morgan Chase in early May, with demonstrations on Wall Street, protests at the annual shareholder meeting, and then calls for a coordinated mortgage strike.

I read somewhere about someone's idea to purchase a bank in Africa for 5 million (apparently you can't just start a bank up these days). Offer depositors 10% interest and give out loans which only require you to pay only half the loan back.
This would result in customers switching from other banks as thus starve the major banks.
As banks create money out of thin air with your signature on a loan document anyway I guess is sounds feasible?

Hundreds of thousands of people marched through central London today. The demonstrators protested against government austerity measures which force the bulk of the population, and especially public sector workers, to pay for the economic crisis which erupted out of the banking sector two years ago.
Most of the demonstrators - trade unionists, families, and people against the austerity measures - took part in the officially-sanctioned TUC demonstration. In addition, many groups signaled their willingness to do more than march, with protest actions being called for by multiple groups. Fast-moving direct action groups moved through London's West End, the high-class shopping district. They spent some time smashing in windows and doing non-violent sit-ins at corporate targets which have been identified as tax-dodgers or in some way responsible for the economic crisis.
8:30pm update: Things are winding down. Several hundred people are still partying in Oxford Circus, Picadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square, as police look on. The UkUncut demonstrators who have been occupying the Fortnum and Mason department store since this afternoon have been surrounded by police, arrested, and shipped off in a coach. About 150 people are currently setting up to camp out in Hyde Park. Lots of pics at link

21.53 Police warn on Twitter: "If you are involved in disorder in Trafalgar Square you will be arrested. Officers are coming under sustained attack."
21.51 Protestors throwing objects at riot police in Traflagar Square as violence flares again. Mixture of anarchists and protestors trying try to stage a sit-in.
21.20 Scotland Yard says the number of arrests stood at 202.
20.15 Update from reporter Michael Howie: "Outside Fortnum & Mason, where the trouble flared, about 40 protesters are being arrested. They have been lined up at the side of the building, are handcuffed and being searched by officers. I have just walked up Piccadilly and counted six premises that have had windows smashed. They include the banks Santander, Lloyds TSB and Pret a Manger. Squads of officers remain vigilant but, here at least, all is now quiet."
20.08 Images from today can be viewed in our online gallery.
20.05 Update from Telegraph reporter Ben Leach: "Police have dispersed a large group of activists who had earlier started a fire in the centre of Oxford Circus. Around 200 protesters had gathered around the fire - drinking alcohol and playing loud music. But dozens of uniformed officers moved in to drive away the group and the area is now back to normal with traffic passing through and normal members of the public far outnumbering protesters."
19.55 Witness reports say a police officer has been injured outside Waterstones in Piccadilly. Inside the ambulance he was seen with a neck brace and ice packs on his legs.
19.50 Many West End threate shows are now cancelled. A large crowd gathered outside The Criterion has been told tonight's show, The 39 Steps, is cancelled. A member of staff appears on the steps and announces the cancellation "for safety reasons". Bronwen Jones, who travelled from north Wales for a weekend in London, says she's "really disappointed". "I've been looking forward to this for a long time," she adds.
19.30 The base of Nelson's Column has been vandalised, with the anarchist symbol spray painted onto masonry. There are several thousand protesters gathered in Trafalgar Square.
At the same time, street fires near Piccadilly appear to have got out of hand, with one reported in Jermyn Street but the London Fire Brigade says it does not yet know the full scale of the blaze.
On Twitter, user @ruthyoung1 says she is trapped in a theatre auditorium by the fire. She writes: "Trapped in Jermyn Street theatre.Buildings on fire. This is hell."
Later she reports that the group is safe. seems to be a sort of updated reports above

At least 300 protesters are involved in clashes with police on Trafalgar Square. Eye witnesses claim trouble flared after police went into the crowd, who had been drinking and dancing, around 9.45pm. "The protesters reacted and then the riot police went in," said one bystander. That "reaction" saw glass bottles being hurled at police, who rushed to the scene in around 20 vans. The troublemakers are being 'kettled' around Nelson's Column by a ring of several hundred officers. Banners have been set ablaze and a few protesters dragged out of the square. One protester was seen with blood coming from a head wound. The Olympic clock has been hit by paint bombs.
22.30 London buses with passengers are caught up in the chaos as police try to regain control.

NCRI - Iranian regime officials are transferring large sums of money outside the country amid fears about the regime’s stability, a French newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Les Echo, which reports on economic developments, underlined growing anxiety within the regime about its future, saying, “Officials started transferring their assets to foreign banks in mid-January, a trend that only accelerated in February.”
The daily added, “The assets, worth over tens or hundreds of millions of dollars, have been wired not to western banks but mostly to Asian financial institutions in Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Bangladesh.”
According to Les Echo, Turkish banks have confirmed a case where over $180 million has been transferred to the country. A Malaysian bank has also confirmed the transfer of more than $220 million by regime officials.
“Some portions of the (ruling) fundamentalist faction in the regime are also mulling ways to reroute their assets to China,” the report added.

Latest
23.50 Laurie Penny, a journalist who was in Trafalgar Square and who regularly writes for the left-leaning News Statesman magazine, insisted to the BBC: "The people in Trafalgar Square were here for a little get together and a party. I didn't see any evidence of criminal acvtivity here apart from burning a few placards to keep warm."
23.48 Paul Brandon, the chair of the Right To Work Campaign, claimed those gathering in Trafalgar Square had simply wanted to "send a message of a bit more sustained response rather than an A-B march. Probably the intention at one point was to stay the night. It was people dancing, listening to music who perhaps wanted to carry on, obviously in a peaceful way."
23.45 Richard Livingstone, cabinet member for Southwark council who was at the protest with a 100 strong Southwark Labour contingent, said their experience of the protest was peaceful and meaningful. "I've not seen any violence, just a few vandalised buildings and a bit of graffiti. It's been a remarkably peaceful and friendly march; good natured and well mannered."
23.40 Number of arrests rises to 214.
23.39 Commander Bob Broadhurst tells the rioters: "Londoners are fed up with your protests. It is time to go home."
23.35 'Sophie', a protester who was being kettled in Trafalgar Square told the BBC that she spoke "as someone who is often in the heart of the action." She insisted: "The Police don't seem to handle the situation well. I understand there are always people at protests who might have an alternative agenda, but you don't have to escalate the whole situation, injure peaceful protesters - and not even protesters, people who are having a dance. I didn't do anything. Are we not allowed to stay in Trafalgar Square and have a dance?"
23.30 Commander Bob Broadhurst of the Metropolitan Police condemned the violence, insisting: "They are not protesters, they are criminals. They tried to damage the Olympic clock, we tried to make an arrest and they attacked the Police. These people don't care whom they hurt or what they damage." He added: "We [the Police] are acting entirely properly."
23.10 One protester is struck by police batons as a rapidly-changing situation briefly turns violent on The Strand. Police once again employ containment tactics and the tension eases. But small knots of anarchists speed off down Craven Street, and so a fresh flashpoint may not be far off.

The truth behind the battle of Trafalgar Square March 26th 2011
Published March 27th 2011
By Christopher Ram 55T alternative media blogger
This is a accurate account of what really happened yesterday in Trafalgar Square by eyewitness accounts by myself and other people that were in the protest. You got a untrue account of the protesters by the mainstream media labelling them as anarchists, drunk yobs and violent troublemakers without substantial proof whatsoever. They show the innocent protesters throwing things at the police as they have been heavily provoked by the police which was never mentioned by the mainstream media. The anarchists that caused the damage of the buildings earlier in the afternoon passed through Trafalgar square about 2 hours ago without stopping at the national gallery side of Trafalgar square.
From the start and till before the storming by the riot police it was all peaceful and in good nature. However about 10-15 minutes before breaking news from Sky news and BBC news, a 80 year old pensioner gets punched in the face by a police officer near the Olympic countdown clock which was never mentioned by the mainstream media, then all of a sudden lots of police officers and riot police came from the left hand side of the national gallery side stormed towards the protesters and started to kettle them from all sides provoking reactions from the innocent 80 year old men getting punched and the protesters getting kettled and stormed by the riot police. Its worth mentioning that the whole of Trafalgar Square and part of Charing Cross Road which includes the main Station itself were occupied by riot police by all sides was in complete lockdown.
The remaining few hundred innocent protesters that were trapped in the kettle got arrested for alleged breach of the peace and mostly got released at various Police stations at different parts of London and they had to make there own way back . This was clearly illegal kidnapping and not mentioned by the mainstream media for the lack evidence against these protesters just for being in Trafalgar Square. Reports of police provoking violence occurred earlier in the afternoon it started when a women got punched in the head three times and another person was put in a headlock, Some officers were openly provoking violence. There were no anarchists around them, They just wanted to walk down the side street. Also the police try to attempt a illegal kidnapping of Charlie Veitch and other members of his group called the love police for standing peacefully outside Downing Street.UK uncut members in Tunbridge Wells caught Sky news journalists paying activists to throw bricks at the window. Plain cloth police officers were shown at the protests showing there police ID at the police officer was shown.
http://www.mobypicture.com/user/mrdazadams/view/9062944
In conclusion the police state was in operation at Trafalgar Square/ Charing Cross area to flex there cowardly muscles for no reason and it was completely staged and provoked by them for no reason. The police were targeting and arresting innocent protesters and not confronting the anarchists that were smashing windows and causing damage to property in the afternoon which was shown in the mainstream media. Trafalgar Square/ Charing Cross for a few hours was in complete police state lockdown for no reason and the lies from the mainstream media that were trouble makers, drunken yobs and anarchists in Trafalgar square were completely untrue as they only passed through Trafalgar square without stopping. People need to be aware of what really happened in the Trafalgar Square/Charing cross and the attempted Downing Street kidnapping of Charlie Veitch and company. Please spread this article to everyone you know to found out the truth what happened in Trafalgar Square to counter the psy ops by the mainstream media to discrediting hundreds of innocent protesters being arrested just for being trapped in the kettle as they need to justify the massive costs of the riot police by arresting lots of innocent people in the process. They are so scared of Trafalgar Square being turned into Tahir Square and will do anything to get rid of them by both the mainstream media and police.
Please spread this article to everyone you know

This April 15-17 people from all walks of life will gather in Washington,
D.C. to resist the spring meetings of the World Bank and the International
Monetary Fund, the loans sharks of global capitalism. Both institutions
are infamous for forcing poor countries in the global south to ruin their
own economies in order to further enrich Western corporations.
The rest of the world is not taking this lying down. In Greece, strikes
and protests are near daily occurrences, to the point that the economic
disruption may be costing the government more money than they save through
austerity measures. Students in England have rioted in response to tuition
hikes, destroying the lobby of the Conservative party headquarters and
attacking Prince Charles’ car – with him inside it. Spontaneous and
leaderless revolts in Tunisia and Egypt have driven their leaders into
exile, with many other countries following in their footsteps.
The IMF Resistance Network invites all enemies of neoliberal capitalism to
join us in the streets of DC to fight for a just and free world. Mass
housing for the April demo will be available; continue to check
imfresistance.org for more details and updates.
Spread the word, bring your comrades, and we’ll see you in D.C!

Serious Violence By Police At Protest Party
Forget what the mainstream media are saying about the black block, the most serious violence yesterday was probably the attack by police on partying crowd that was gathered in Trafalgar square.
Senior police officers had warned in the run up to the March 26 protests that any occupation of Trafalgar square would be dealt with ‘robustly’. There were true to their word. The party taking place there hadn’t been violent, and taking part in it was not unlawful. But that didn’t stop the police from wading in with batons and boots flying, sparking further confrontations that went on into the night. The police justified their actions because of alleged damage to the Olympic clock, but a prior statement by Asst Commissioner Lynne Owens that an occupation would not be tolerated suggests that this was a pre-planned operation.
It seemed to some of those that were there that some police officers were after vengeance for things that had taken place earlier in the day. The police were noticeably hyped up and frustrated by black block activists who had outsmarted and outmanoeuvred them all afternoon, and this may well have added to their aggression in Trafalgar Square.
Unlike the police though, the black block didn’t make the public a target of their anger. In fact the block were disciplined and focused, attacking only the property of banks, tax-avoiders and symbols of the mega-rich. Media outlets like the Mail and Telegraph will froth at the mouth, and the TUC will cough and splutter, but the truth is that a lot of people will watch the..Snip.. Police may be given new powers after cuts protest, says home secretary
Theresa May says face coverings could be banned and known troublemakers barred from political rallies in the wake of violence after Saturday's anti-cuts march
The government will consider giving the police new powers, including the banning of face coverings, following the weekend's anti-cuts march, the home secretary, Theresa May, has said.
May said police could be given the power to ban known troublemakers from attending political demonstrations – similar to how known hooligans can be banned from travelling to football matches.
She told the Commons that 149 of the more than 200 demonstrators arrested during violent clashes with police have now been charged, as she praised officers for learning the lessons of the tuition fees protests.
"The message to those who carry out violence is clear," she said. "You will be caught and you will be punished."
Organisers of Saturday's protest through central London, which culminated in Hyde Park, estimated that between 400,000 and 500,000 people took part in a peaceful rally.
But in separate violent clashes, activists threw missiles at officers in parts of the West End, while others attempted to damage the Olympic countdown clock in Trafalgar Square.
Describing the demonstrators who clashed with officers as "gangs of thugs", May said she "utterly condemned" those responsible for the "mindless" violent ..Snip.. Continued At link Above

Mob Rule in West London

For many of us, March 26th was set to be the big one. The anger and spontaneity of the student movement, but joined by other people from all walks of life who’s very survival is being threatened by the cuts. We wanted to join the dots and link our various struggles in an all out class war against those who now can’t even be bothered to give us the crumbs from their table. To make them long for the days when we’d accept that pittance and leave them alone.
At the very least, we did succeed in joining up all the various anarchists across London that day who had come from every corner of the country and beyond. Once the bloc converged and headed to its intended target there was no stopping it, and police were either overpowered or outmanoeuvred every time they attempted a challenge. Paint bombs and smoke grenades obstructed the work of various FIT teams who tailed the bloc, which had swelled....Snip.. Continued At link Above

Cuts protesters claim police tricked them into mass arrest
UK Uncut activists say Met promised to show Fortnum & Mason protesters to safety – and then arrested them
Campaigners for the tax-avoidance protest group UK Uncut have claimed senior police officers "tricked" them into a mass arrest after a peaceful protest inside Fortnum & Mason's in London on Saturday.
Activists say they were given repeated assurances by a chief inspector from the Metropolitan police that they would be shown to safety after the protest, which she described as non-violent and sensible. However, when protesters left the luxury Piccadilly store on police instruction, they were kettled, handcuffed and taken into custody.
Their claims are backed up by footage, obtained by the Guardian, showing that, rather than being asked to leave, the protesters inside the luxury food retailer were told they were being kept inside for their own safety.
In the video, shot by observers for the legal volunteer group Green & Black Cross, a police officer can be seen telling protesters they would be directed towards "the safest parts" once they had left the building. <snip> Continued at link above with video of their claim

This guy was in Trafalgar square and is convinced that MI5 are involved in the Black Block anarchists..
My personal view is that an agenda is at play in the vein of "The summer of Rage" campaign.
I like the tactics of the love police and this IMO is the way we will win..
http://kevboyle.blogspot.com/2011/03/uk-anarchists-are-part-of-mi5.html
UK 'ANARCHISTS' ARE PART OF MI5
The TUC-led protest march in London yesterday was the biggest I've seen. The attendance was significantly larger than the massive pre-Iraq war London protest (that was duplicated in cities across the UK leading to an estimated 2 million participants).
As the newspapers report, the march was good-humored and almost entirely peaceful.
This morning however, as usual, front pages are filled with images of young men slamming poles through shop windows and fires blazing on the streets. This is the image of 'protest' that is intended to settle into the minds of the complacent, the merely curious and those that might be considering doing something to challenge power in society.
The violence is blamed, again as usual, on 'Anarchists'.
The presence of this group is easily identifiable at any large protest. They dress mostly in black and often carry red-and-black pennants on poles. Most cover their faces below (and normally but not always above) the eyes with black scarves. They move as one and stick together.
Yesterday I was in Trafalgar Square when this group (of maybe 150) skewed away, as one, from the main body of the march and strode as a troupe round the other side of the square past St Martin-In The Fields and up Charing Cross Road towards Cambridge Circus. I heard one old fellow say, "Where are they off to?" The reply, "Oxford Street to smash a few windows".
Of course they were. The game is well and broadly understood.
But why were they not stopped? Nor even followed. The police showed no interest in these people whatsoever.
They could easily have been stopped. If a few of us had put some thought into this predictable event we could have stopped them ourselves. They were small in number and mostly kids. I would guess that there was hardly a person over 25 among them. The young men leading the group were lean and fit. Many of those behind were slight. No fat, middle-aged or grizzled faces at all. continued at link

Boycotting?
Petitions?
Picketing?
Leaflets?
Sit ins?
Ask those that are serious about it to mark themselves as non-violent (types/colours of clothing etc) and inform the police beforehand?
Form a new party and creat a manifesto?
Chain yourself to a lamp post butt nekid?
Maybe read up on how Gandhi changed worldwide thinking through his peaceful protests?.............
................I've a feeling that whatever answer I give it won't be enough for you, but a start might be to man-up and get out of this (the bit you left out of my quote) >>
....false bravery in numbers, and gang mentality......
If you've got a serious point to make with a protest, why wear a mask, or rely on others to raise your bravery level? Might be a bit old fashioned of me, but the last time I took part in a protest, I was happy for my face to be seen.
I lost my job in the Thatcher years, along with my wife and my home - but I would never antagonise those who are in the same position as those protesting - does anyone really expect the police to be perfectly controlled in all of this?
What you appear to be condoning, or at least being titilised by, is violence (I apologise if I'm wrong, just let me know), because I'm sure you know from the social media spin on this beforehand that this was the intention of many.
The problems facing us now will never be solved by violence, it'll make the situation worse. Imo.

I've a feeling that whatever answer I give it won't be enough for you,<snip> This is simply not true. I was hoping for an honest elbration on your position, which you did.
Boycotting? Petitions? Picketing? Leaflets? Sit ins? Ask those that are serious about it to mark themselves as non-violent (types/colours of clothing etc) and inform the police beforehand?
Form a new party and creat a manifesto?
Chain yourself to a lamp post butt naked?
Maybe read up on how Gandhi changed worldwide thinking through his peaceful protests?<snip>
IMO, yes they are all very good methods of striving towards an end goal. I thankyou for your positive input, perhaps at the next one we will see you naked changed to a lamp post? :)
What you appear to be condoning, or at least being titilised by, is violence<snip>
Again you are wrong, I am a strong pacifist. I was trying to bring a balance array of sources of information so that a conclusion could be drawn from the days events.
The problems facing us now will never be solved by violence, it'll make the situation worse. Imo<snip>
I agree wholeheartedly with your statement. The problems we face will only be solved in a non violent manner IMO.
Now where I differ from from you is in the following points. They way I see it is these corrupt kleptocrats are directly responsible for endemic problems facing earth, those being starvation, murder, cohesion, black mail, degradation of society, to list just a few.
I will also try to bring in a bit of context in the fact that the kleptocrats are messing up peoples lives, where as the anarchist are smashing up inanimate objects, any value is only placed unto them by our own psyche. IMO the anarchists ars striving for the very same results but have a very different method, I don’t completely condone them but respect them for their methodology. Now one could argue that their methodology used is flawed as it plays into the PTWere’s hands that IMO is debatable. (The syntax of my last sentence is in agreement of a possibly flawed methodology)
Hope that makes sense.
So for me its just hurry up and bring this charade of cards down allready! Soon any method used, what so ever, of take down, will be illegal..

Boy, did I read you wrong completely Chelmostef, my sincere apologies to you. Although my body is at a time where being found nekid chained to a lamp post would certainly turn a large crowd away ;-)
What's even worse, is that yes, you did make sense, and I agree with you -
They way I see it is these corrupt kleptocrats are directly responsible for endemic problems facing earth, those being starvation, murder, cohesion, black mail, degradation of society, to list just a few.
I have to confess, having been caught up in protests like these in my past - in the day of Union rule, and having voted against them, a small number of us learnt about the inherent violence that 'if you're not on our side brother' violence is like.
I. Must. Learn. To. Chill.
As a boring point fer ya, I got so hacked off with the system here, I went to work in Norway (and a few other places) - I see you're there - it was one of the best moves I ever made.
Peace
Pickle
Edit: Just a thought.... this situation... my thinking is, "don't get mad, get even", in that there must be ways of chipping away at their system and methods... not exactly like Anonymous, but concerted efforts at distnct targets. That kind of thing.............

Hi Pickle :) In the UK one is subjected to a constant barrage of sh*t from the papers and the news outlets and T.V its a never ending formula, it would it would drive me crazy when I lived there... Its like they are saying simplified- Your sh*t, Your sh't, Your sh*t, but look at these celebrities, that you will never be, look how great and fantastic they are... It drove me bonkers.. I think that is one reason U.K driving is so aggressive as it like an outlet for all that pent up anger from the belittling one receives..
Norway is a great place.. Synchronicity bought me every step of the way.. A am very lucky and thank full.. We can all get to were we are meant to be we just have to ask with a sincere heart. :)
Just a thought.... this situation... my thinking is, "don't get mad, get even", in that there must be ways of chipping away at their system and methods... not exactly like Anonymous, but concerted efforts at distinct targets. That kind of thing
This is exactly what we all need to do, TPTWere can not fight against this method if we all done this we would shake this tyranny once and for all..

National Demo - Reclaim the Royal Wedding
Time 29 April · 10:00 - 15:00
Location- London
Created by: Susan Petal, John Shepherd
More info On the 29th April there will be another Royal Wedding.
Who is paying for it? You are.
It is estimated the full cost will reach £5 BILLION (for the wider economy including the extended national holiday and security costs)
But at the same time, the Coalition Government says there is no money left – that is why they are making huge public sector cuts to welfare, education, transport and the NHS!
They have tripled university fees and slashed university funding by as much as 80%. This has led to hundreds of staff redundancies and the closure of many university departments. Although the Government argues that these cuts are unavoidable it is clear that they are wrong:
http://johannhari.com/2011/03/29/the-biggest-lie-in-british-politics
It is clear that they are making these cuts for an altogether different reason. Poorly hidden beneath their cheap rhetoric, the Government is intent on serving the interests of the elite: the greedy banks, the large exploiting corporations and the self-interested rich. For instance, tax avoiders such as Vodafone and Arcadia Group are free to hoard their £25BILLION in unpaid tax each year.
At this wedding there will be 1900 guests. This includes the dictator King of Bahrain and the King of Saudi Arabia and dozens of other crowned heads of states and ridiculous celebrities. Autocrats and millionaires will be celebrating together. The poor, as per usual, will be scraping around outside trying to make a living.
They expect us to celebrate with them.
But we won’t. Instead we invite you to come and join us on the day and claim back our spaces they have stolen.
We’ll be on the streets - on the proposed route – at the same time – to send them a clear message:
Whose Streets? Our Streets!
(details will be published as we have them)
Please invite your friends.
PEACEFUL PROTEST :)
The Royal wedding is an outdated ideology where someone is always better than yourself, when in fact we are all kings and queens. We are the custodians of Earth. We pay for this false ideology. So yes we should protest to this till the cows come home... And the fact that our land was stolen from us at around 1066 then distributed amongst the aristocracy.. Lets get back what is our birthright..
