Most of the westerners I have met here have all come from Tokyo and are like me, sitting on the edge at a safer distance and seriously trying to ignore the GET OUT OF THERE messages from friends and loved ones and the media. Ski-

This is not from the media, this is from Edgar Cayce who's predicitons come true. He says that Japan will largely disappear. Things are not settling down there. Japan and its seas have had 7 5.1 to 5.7 quatkes today alone.

But Cayce's most striking predictions -- particularly in view of many other prophecies relating to the approaching end of the millennium -- concern dramatic changes in the Earth's surface in the period of 1958 to 1998. The cause of these he put down to a tilting in the Earth's rotational axis which he said would begin in 1936.
............. He said that "the greater portion of Japan must go into the sea" at this time, and that northern Europe would be "changed as in the twinkling of an eye." In 1941, Cayce predicted that lands would appear in the Atlantic and the Pacific in the coming years, and that "the coastline now of many a land will be the bed of the ocean. Even many of the battlefields of (1941) will be ocean, will be the sea, the bays, the lands over which the new order will carry on their trade as with one another."

I do not intend to fear monger. I am just presenting the facts. Cayce's has one of the highest rates of accurate predicitons of any psychic that there ever was.

Many people will be trying to leave now under extreme duress and with their life savings wiped out.
Why is it that people do not listent to the warnings then suffer such great sorrow and loss.

Tempting fate I guess or
and a lack of abilty to look inside and see truth
or a lack of ability to live outside of denial
or perhaps just a mere casting of ones fate to the wind.

It still is not to late for others to leave.
and better to leave early than late.
You not only save yourself but the generations

If others had listened to Cayce or to the remote viewers

My new article is coming soon… wanted to read this before posting it and I was not disappointed. Once again, Ben’s sources line up with my own.

There are many angles on this disaster that must be considered in a grand overview of the situation. I am glad I trusted those dreams enough to post them a week before this happened, as they made it clear that although a huge natural disaster was about to happen, we would pull through it.

The dreams also involved oil shooting out of a volcano, and there is now a new 100-mile-wide oil slick floating in the Gulf by where the BP spill was. It does seem as if these negative factions are pulling out all the stops to try to forestall their defeat — but what they’ve done now is so outrageous that it will actually speed up the process much more.

Remember — we won’t have Disclosure until these guys have been neutralized. My own sources have said the US insiders have already moved all their important belongings in to a secure location, in South America, and all they need to do is get on a plane and fly out. All the stuff they need to live in a new house is already in the new location.

This is different than the issue Ben has been discussing, where they’re trying to negotiate for a larger bulk of members. This is the elite group — and in their case they already have a fortified location picked out and have already moved their stuff in to their houses. They are just waiting for the moment to get on the planes and go.

When this happens, it will be an unprecedented crisis in the American government, as many employees will disappear all at once — including a wide variety of senators and congressmen. They are ready to do this at any moment — that’s how close we are, according to reliable insiders.
All the things we were told would be happening during this time are happening. That also strengthens the case that it is all leading up to a highly positive outcome that these insider groups have no ability to prevent.
- David

My note: Did you check out Ben's link? My goodness! Explosive to the max. If the rats are abandoning the ship, someone should be watching flights out of Washington, D. C. to South America ~ as I believe a mass exodus is happening and this would be something easily monitored. Too bad there is no real news agencies left. Watch for disappearances from the highest courts on down and half of Congress. What an improvement this will surely be. All will come clean in the wash. Never fear. xoxox

This is the blog: http://blog.imva.info/

Destroyed: A satellite image of the
Fukushima nuclear station shows the destroyed reactor buildings and
radioactive steam rising from the plant. From the satellite it is safe,
but flying below, as approaching helicopters need to do if they are ever
to bury the plant in sand and concrete, it is so dangerous that one
approaches the gates of hell on earth in plain sight.
Above and surrounding that plant, its infernal heat and death rays would
kill a man quickly if he got close enough. A person taking a walk inside
the area of the nuclear power plant without any protection would burn up
on a cellular level as fast as you can drop a hat. That nastiness of
existence is going, in all likelihood, to grow nastier as each day, week
and month passes, but amazingly this situation is already starting to
receive less media attention as if a hell on earth did not exist in
Japan.
Obama flew over me today in the northeast of Brazil on his way down
south to Rio. And the news line read that the President's mind was split
between what was going on around him in Brazil and the attacks going on
in Libya. Not a mention was made of the mega disaster of still a much
unknown dimension in Japan and very much solidly in the northern
hemisphere. The online Times version made no mention of the disaster
today in terms of its health threat but instead was only concerned with
the economic fallout, of which there will be a lot.
The headlines we wake up to Monday morning say: A new column of smoke
rising from an overheating nuclear plant in Japan drove workers out of
the smoldering site dented hopes for a breakthrough in the post-quake
atomic crisis raising the risk of uncontrolled radiation.

The World Health Organization said today
that radiation in food after an earthquake damaged a Japanese nuclear
plant was more serious than previously thought, eclipsing signs
of progress in a battle to avert a catastrophic meltdown in the
reactors.
Just a little bit of radiation can make you terribly sick and of course
a lot can kill you quite instantly. Every little bit of radiation adds
to the winds that bring on cancer so there is a lot to be concerned
about. An unexpected spike in pressure inside one reactor on Sunday is
setting back efforts to bring Japan's overheating, leaking nuclear
complex under control and concerns are growing that contamination of
food and water is spreading.
If there ever was a time for starting to plan for worse-case scenarios,
it is now. But we are not hearing any stories of people from the north
fleeing to the southern hemisphere; are you? That's right, there is no
panic or mass migration going on-just some concerned parents trying
desperately to get their hands on some iodine, any iodine and for good
reason. But the controlled press strikes back and makes fun of these
very concerned citizens. It appears that the press and the experts are
going to abandon the people of Japan like they did the Gulf Coast, which
is still staggering from the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster.
The survival rate after radiation exposure depends
on the radiation dose. For those who survive, full
recovery typically takes from a few weeks to 2 years.
As each day passes the world comes closer to reading news of one of the
largest nuclear stations in the world going out of control creating a
permanent hot spot on our planet that will create nightmares for
generations to come. It is already happening and we are within a hair's
breadth of incalculable suffering and harm to human civilization. That
might sound dramatic but what else are we to think with thousands of
tons of nuclear material at risk at the still not under control overly
large nuclear power station. Some of the bravest men who have ever lived
are battling to bring the situation under control and at this point we
can only pray that their sacrifices are not in vain.
At Fukushima prefecture's 12 monitoring points, the highest level of
radiation was detected in the village of Iitate where a reading of 12.10
microsieverts per hour

An X-ray is 600 microsieverts so people in this region are
receiving the equivalent of almost an X-ray every other day at this
level meaning 180 X-rays a year. In three years it will be 540 X-rays in
six years over a thousand and that's only if the radiation intensity
gets no worse. And we must remember that these detectable readings are
not reporting on the full range of radiation since many types of
radiation on not detectable with normal instrumentation.
"This event has the potential to be the most globally disruptive natural
hazard in modern times," said Rob Verchick, a disaster expert at Loyola
University in New Orleans. "And it may just be, in the context of
globalization, of all time." "The Asian tsunami of 2004 killed more
people. The fall of the Twin Towers launched two wars. The collapse of
the Berlin Wall spelled the end of an empire. But in this event,
psychological, even philosophical, shock over the confluence of human
tragedy and nuclear catastrophe yields some fundamental questions. If a
technological power like Japan can be so vulnerable, who's safe? Is even
minimal risk, as with nuclear power, too much risk? Do we need to
rethink the role of government in protecting the public?" wrote Joji
Sakurai, writing for the Associated Press

No one in the world is going to enjoy seeing this simulation. The longer
the nuclear plant in Japan emits radioactive particles the further it
will travel and touch down in foreign lands. When we hear of the "safe"
levels we should starting thinking of the Physicians for Social
Responsibility, a U.S. non-profit advocacy group, which at one point
called for a halt to new nuclear reactors in the United States.
"There is no safe level of radiation exposure," said Jeff Patterson, a
former president of the group. Hard science has concluded that Patterson
is correct in his assertion, which means every time you read the "safe"
word used in conjunction with nuclear radiation in the newspapers or on
TV, you are reading deliberate manipulations of our minds. Actually the
report on the Taiwan food imports read "slightly" contaminated so we
have to add the "slightly" word to the word "safe". Anyone who wants to
eat some "slightly" contaminated radioactive food, please raise your
hand, and imagine in a month or a year from now, as the soil soaks up
more and more radiation, what the food situation is going to look like.
They will keep saying it's safe or talk about
safe amounts or tiny exposure until people and
children, millions of them, are in their graves.
Radiation exceeding Japanese safety standards were found in milk
from a farm about 30 km (18 miles) from
the plant as well as spinach grown in neighboring Ibaraki prefecture.
Radioactive iodine has also been found in tap water in Tokyo, about 240
km (150 miles) to south. Many tourists and expatriates have already left
and residents are generally staying indoors. Radioactive iodine and
cesium were also found in northern Ibaraki and in dust and particles in
the greater Tokyo area, the government said on the 20th. Authorities in
Taiwan, checking food imports for radiation, found a shipment of fava
beans from southern Japan that had been contaminated.
Japan's Health Ministry says tests have now detected additional types of
radiation-tainted vegetables in more places, suggesting that
contamination from its tsunami-crippled nuclear complex is reaching
further into the food chain
Ministry official Yoshifumi Kaji said
Sunday that tests found excess amounts of radioactive elements on canola
and chrysanthemum greens, in addition to spinach. He said the areas
where the tainted produce was found included three prefectures that
previously had not recorded such contamination. But Japanese officials
say levels so far are not alarming, meaning they will not start to
evacuate the northern end of Japan or Tokyo any time soon.
Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said radiation levels in
milk from a Fukushima farm about 30 km (18 miles) from the plant, and
spinach grown in Ibaraki, a neighboring prefecture, exceeded limits set
by the government. Shoppers in Tokyo avoided the produce that came from
Ibaraki prefecture in the northeast, where radiation was found in
spinach grown up to 75 miles (120 kilometers) from the crippled
Fukushima nuclear plant.
On Monday the 21st, the Japanese government told people not to drink the
tap water in a village near the quake-hit nuclear power plant after high
levels of radioactive iodine were detected. The health ministry said 965
becquerels per kilogramme of radioactive iodine was found in water
sampled on Sunday in Iitatemura, which is 40 kilometres (25 miles) from
the Fukushima No. 1 plant. It is already more than three times the level
the government considers advising people to limit the intake of water.
The radiation from the plant will only get stronger and become more
penetrating into the environments around it. The local affect is quite
strong but what is local might soon come to envelop the entire island
nation of Japan.

May as well post an update seeing as the media have stopped reporting on this.

As some of may know that yesterday they found traces of (stuff that kills you) in the Tokyo water supply, well this has caused an outspread of panic buying of bottled water. I'm in Osaka and last night all the stores had sold out of bottled water. Osaka has no readings of (stuff that kills you) in the air or the water. This will be the Yakusa and petty money making scams trying to make money out of this. (yes on Japanese yahoo auction you'll see water being sold)
Also if the water is tainted with (stuff that kills) then you'll not be wanting to have a bath or a shower in this. Well you'll only need to imagine for a few minuets of how big this can effect people, companies everything.

Also they found traces of (stuff that kills) in the sea and thus fish is off the menu. And we all know how important fish is to japanese people. Yes and vegetables from Fukushima have all been wiped of the shelves. Well that basically stops people buying any vegetables as you can imagine.

There seems to be an eerie silence in the surrounding areas of Tokyo at night with no cars on the streets and everyone saving electricity. Everyday there are a whole bunch of aftershocks.
Not like the ones I felt in Christchurch witch were mini jolts but large rumblings. People are still reporting the ground as always moving. Thousands of people are taking Solanax because of dizzy spells and stress. I also took a bunch of these with me as it calms you down when you get anxiety.

Our houses in Tokyo that we left behind are now occupied with friends who were living in Fukushima and they are relieved to be in Tokyo. Everyone in our convoy have gone separate ways now. The misses mother finally jumped on a shinkansen back to Tokyo with our consent. She'd been very patient as she never wanted to leave Tokyo in the 1st place.

I have seen a huge amount of theories as to what has actually taken place here. I don't think any of them can be ignored as not possible. Joining the dots has been on my mind and I have my own theories. Too many people from the masses knew this would take place which begs the question, how many of the top dogs knew? It's almost believable that on the day of March 11th that a fight took place and although the event still happened I believe forces tried to divert or disrupt it. Hard to explain.. like they all knew it was coming and all wanted a piece of the pie so to speak.

One of the biggest upset to the masses in Japan has been the realization that the government is fake and is very bad at lying. Other nations have supreme puppets that have accepted the role they must play and lie with finesse, well they make an effort. Jolly good show type of thing but the japanese fell apart. The prime minister of Japan has all but vanished. He wept on T.V. and couldn't do as he was told so I believe he's been taken out of the public eye for now.

Yes it's a mess. Although the media have calmed down the situation here has got worse.

(1st of April. I feel very uncomfortable about that date. Don't know why. Not found anything suspect about it so far. Maybe paranoia kicking in)

I'll continue with updates here. Just every now and then.

If the number goes up to 130 it is considered dangerous... 40, 50 is Ok. I don't know a whole lot about this...

SKI, It perhaps is time to look pramatistically at the situation.
Japan is a lost cause now. If the water is polluted with radiation how long will that be for?
1 year, 10 years? a 1000?

Millions can no longer even safely take a shower.

What can possibly be done to improve that situation?
I know you probably don't want to hear it.
You love your country

But good life awaits elsewhere.
Not only do you have a radiation problem but if Tokyo is a lost cause
and has to evacuate then you likely now have an overpopulation problem for your tiny nation
With the food ruined, water glowing, what shall all those millions of people do?
Now the very foods that could protect you will kill you.
What is the plan?
To just be sacrifical Lambs?

You are looking at a way different scenario than your nation faced
after WWII. Do not try to compare.

Get out as soon as you can.

This is the kind of talk that creates panic, which leads to even greater problems. There have been various shameful articles in the western media about this disaster and it all serves to create fear, to make us think doomsday has arrived. What good would it do for millions of people to panic and flee their respective countries at the first sign of trouble?

I have mentioned before that I live in Japan (albeit very far from the quake and nuclear problems) but the general mood I sense is of people coming together to help one another. The people are not afraid, they just want to help themselves, their families and their neighbours overcome this terrible tragedy.

I am not trying to be rude and I know you only posted this message because you are concerned for other people but this kind of talk has really been irking me recently.

Never fear. xoxox

Do we have other evidence that US forces have fully evacuated Japan? Anyone?
perhaps they headed over to Lybia to do that dirty deed.

You can call it panic if you want.. how one responds emotionally is an individual thing..
and if you think you perceive panic in my post perhaps it is because there is panic
already in your own mind.
but if one is going to sit around and wait for a government to tell them what to do
they are dang fools.

We here on Avelon who are so acutely aware already
of the lies and manipulation and brutaltiy possible

The only fully safe measure is to evacuate
untill you can figure out what is really going on.
Or is one to sit around and get radiation poisoning like
the people of Chernobyl and surrounding areas suffered
because the government could not get it together to report
the truth?

You can play russian roulette if you wish
put your money (life) on the table
without facts to bolster your odds....
and your fate will be up to the spin of a wheel

or get the hell out of there untill you have facts
at your disposal to make a good decision

What do they have now?
A prime minister who breaks down in tears
and is removed from publis view
and a bunch of apparrent lies as to the severity
a nuclear program that stored spent fuel rods on site
ready to blow sky high in crisis

You can believe them, or you can use your
god given intelligence to read the signs
and take action to potentially save your life
until the truth comes out

you can also choose to be a martyr,
stay and help those who are suffering,
it is a noble thing
There is nothing wrong with that.
Just do it with open eyes

This weekend I'll be doing shows in Kobe. Street shows.
Weekend after I'll go to another town.
Weekend after I'll be doing the Yokohama Street Festival.
Weekend after I'll be going to Australia for 10 days.

Then I'll be back in Tokyo for Golden Week and give everything I have to make
people laugh and smile because soon after I'll be off to Europe for most of the
summer.

Then after summer a choice will be made.

Thats my plan. Don't care if I leave this country glowing like the Ready Brek Kid.

But seeing as I just avoided Christchurch's quake by 2 days then one could be running out the frying pan into the fire so to speak. More is coming. Seriously so much more is coming and Japans been hit. Southwest Japan might now be one of the safest place to be.

Sounds strange but who knows?

I understand you worrying. But seriously, I'll be fine.

Thanks

At the risk of sounding like a broken record ~ let me say this one more time or a million if necessary until you can comprehend ~ this going from 3D darkness into 5D light and love.

We are living in an illusion, a holographic world that seems real but isn't. We are creating it as we go. You can step into the light from this point of darkness by taking a small step from one earth to a new earth that stands ready and waiting to receive your ass and all your other bodies as well (pardon my french). It is a choice ~ to be overcome and frozen in a place of darkness and doom and duality ~ or move out of duality into the light. Create this new Earth in your mind and it's given to you. The choices are like videos: "Japan is doomed and so is USA, or this one:

One spiritual teacher Dr David Hawkins says that we are due to see an entirely different world through a change in perception.
Thats all it takes.
Its a done deal, but will be a rough ride.
Eckhart Tolle saying the same thing and many since recorded history have said that now is the time to see a new heaven nd a new earth in the twinkling of an eye.
We need to see things differently and it will happen.
This is not fluffy New Age but forecast by every indigenous culture and also dates back to The Indian Vedic teachings many thousands of years old.

I appreciate this post from Kimberly, however unpalatable. This forum is for everyone to share information.
These events may or may not come to pass. Who can fully know the future? This man has done a significant amount of research. It is up to the individual to accept or reject his premises.

Thousands of people died on March 11 in Japan. A terrible event.
Not everything that goes on in the world is going to be to our liking.
No amount of positive thinking will change that...although it may change our perception of, reaction to, and toleration of, these events.
No one wants to die...it is unnatural to the soul, who is eternal. But there you go.

We cannot control the material energy, that applies to earthly and cosmic events. Behold the power of the illusory energy, Maya, in allowing us to think we can!
Most of us can't even control our own mind and senses...
Rare, indeed, is the soul who achieves this.

To quote one such rare soul...

'Forget the past that sleeps..
and ne'er the future dream at all...
but act in times that are with thee...
and progress ye shall call!

Benny that is a great idea to invite others to Avalon. I have done a bit of that also, however now that you mention it I can think of several people that would add much to this forum. Thank you for the reminder !!

I am impressed with the depth of Henning's research. I too am a fact finder and as a journalist I most always check out sources before I pass information on. I checked out many of the things Henning noted in his video and as I said was impressed. However, I would have preferred if he had not used the word "doomed" in the title. :drama:

Christopher Columbus was not the first European to discover the New World! This commonly held belief is wrong. Columbus didn't reach the New World until 1492, 500 years after Leif Erikson's arrival in 1001 AD.

This year is the 11th centenary of the founding of Normandy by the Vikings. The Normans are well known for conquering England, but there was also a Norman expansion into southern Italy and Sicily where Roger I and II were kings. So the Viking exploration of America was only a sequel ;)

Response To: Benjamin Fulford blurb: US troops and occupation forces flee Japan, their lackeys flee Tokyo (http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=199851) (Jordon)

This is the Fulford blurb:

March 21, 2011

The United States occupation forces in Japan are staging a major strategic defeat because they know the Japanese defense establishment knows it was elements of the US military that set off the March 11, (311) tsunami attack against Japan. This attack used nuclear weapons drilled into the seabed by submarines and not HAARP according to senior Pentagon Sources. In addition, four months ago they overruled Japanese authorities and placed deadly plutonium into the number 3 reactor at Fukushima, according to the governor of Fukushima prefecture. This was to provide a nuclear cover story for the seabed atomic attack, pentagon sources say. Needless to say, the ring-leaders of this attack are now in hiding and know they will be found.

Very interesting.... I was wondering why the radiation from Fukushima was showing up in North America so quickly, sooner than I thought it could cross the Pacific. But if it was from nuclear detonations on Mar 11, then that might explain it.

In the light of a new day, the hero rises.
Dangers abound, but the hero fears not.
Dressed in shields of peace, the hero walks boldly in the world.
Wrapped in a cloak of love, the hero embraces all upon the road.
Empowered by the Creator’s hope, the hero shares freely the bounties of the heart.
When illuminated by truth, the path ahead holds no unknown risk.

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/japanquake/8228921/reactor-fear-at-japan-nuclear-plant

Radiation levels have jumped 10-fold in days in seawater near Japan's tsunami-hit nuclear plant, officials said on Saturday, as workers battled to stabilise the crippled power station.

Drinking a half-litre (20-ounce) bottle of similarly contaminated fresh water would expose a person to their annual safe dose, said an official, who however ruled out an immediate threat to aquatic life and seafood safety.

The iodine-131 level in the Pacific Ocean waters just off the Fukushima plant was 1250 times above the legal limit compared with readings of 126 times higher taken on Tuesday, and 145 higher on Thursday.

From what you gather... well what have you gathered?
and how do you know this guy is a hoax? you must know something not revealed on the youtube site.

Is there or is there not radiaton in Tokyo water Seems there is.

this news article says there is. They say it is still safe. But at what point does it not become safe?
after the tap water is contaminated for 2 days? 5 days? 2 weeks? is there a culmitive buildup?
will it get worse as the meltdown continues? we hear a lot about the short half life on iodine but what about the other stuff?

Since they are now detecting radiation in rain water in the states... I would have to say that Japanese people better protect their health and be extra extra cautious and not believe TPTB that went to great lengths to convince them this power plant was safe way past its due date... that this power plant was safe as it sit on the coast line with a major fault near by... that this power plant is save with spent fuel rods stored right next to its core.

Maybe they should bury this nuclear plant and others that have potential for leaking.

Unfortunately, it looks like efforts to preserve the reactors, spent-fuel pools and reactor infrastructure are not going to succeed. There is just too much damage to an incredibly complex network of interdependent systems to be able to repair it all. I personally share the opinion of many engineers and scientists that the only real solution is “entombment” of the reactors by completely burying them in cement, which was done in Chernobyl.

Please join us in this healing prayer for the Earth.

To All People Around the World

Please send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!
By the massive earthquakes of Magnitude 9 and surreal massive tsunamis, more than 10,000 people are still missing…even now… It has been 16 days already since the disaster happened. What makes it worse is that water at the reactors of Fukushima Nuclear Plants started to leak, and it’s contaminating the ocean, air and water molecule of surrounding areas.

Human wisdom has not been able to do much to solve the problem, but we are only trying to cool down the anger of radioactive materials in the reactors by discharging water to them.

Is there really nothing else to do?

I think there is. During over twenty year research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no matter how far away it is.

Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = number of people and the square of people’s consciousness.

Now is the time to understand the true meaning. Let us all join the prayer ceremony as fellow citizens of the planet earth. I would like to ask all people, not just in Japan, but all around the world to please help us to find a way out the crisis of this planet!!
The prayer procedure is as follows.
Name of ceremony:
“Let’s send our thoughts of love and gratitude to all water in the nuclear plants in Fukushima”

Day and Time:

Low levels of radiation found in US milk

WASHINGTON – Very low levels of radiation turned up in a sample of milk from Washington state, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday, but federal officials assured consumers not to worry.

The FDA said such findings were to be expected in the coming days because of the nuclear crisis in Japan, and that the levels were expected to drop relatively quickly.

Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power complex began leaking radiation after it was damaged by a devastating earthquake and tsunami earlier this month.

Results from a March 25 milk sample taken from Spokane, Wash., showed levels of radioactive Iodine-131 that were still 5,000 times below levels of concern set by the FDA, including levels set for infants and children.

he's a little overboard, I just went to Berkeley to see what they are saying...

3/31 (8:00pm): Our first preliminary tap water samples have been analyzed. The only isotope we have detected besides background is I-131, at low significance: 0.024 ± 0.014 Becquerels per liter. This level is much lower than our rain water measurements by a factor of approximately 300, and lower than our milk measurement by a factor of 30. We will be continuing measurements of tap water to confirm this result; the level is so low it is approaching the threshold of detection.

Quick updates on our other samples: Rainwater results have been updated to be current as of the last rainfall on Saturday 3/26. Air filtration will be posted this evening to be current to 3/30. A sample of milk from before Fukushima has been added to the milk sampling results.

One additional note: There was some confusion about the dating of the milk data. Yesterday we listed the date incorrectly as "Purchased on" but the date was in fact the "Best By" date. The date itself was wrong -- the sample listed yesterday as 3/25 was actually 4/4. The background sample posted today was 3/25. Apologies for any confusion...

Don’t be Fooled: Japan’s Radiation Can Arrive at Your Back Door

Dr. Aharon Friedman PhD

Monday, March 29, 2011

I am writing this commentary as I feel that I would be neglecting my duties as a citizen of this planet and as a Physicist, if I do not take the time to enlighten as many people as I can reach regarding the ongoing nuclear crisis and the happenings in Japan. The general public world-wide is being misled and misinformed. The Japanese government which has always been less honest and forthcoming, like most government, is lying to us. Our President, while fully briefed on what is really going on, is taking a too passive role in the matter.

While I sympathize with the rebels in Libya, I feel strongly that the situation with the reactors in Fukushima is and should be the top priority for every government on this planet, be it a democracy or any other form of government. This is an actual war that we are all involved in right now.

Background

Let me start this briefing by explaining how fission works. The forces that be rely on our ignorance and complicity to perpetrate their atrocities undeterred. Once you, the reader gain basic knowledge on the matter, you could view it with a critical eye.

Fission is a process by which an unstable atom breaks into smaller atoms, releasing energy as it does. What makes an atom unstable is the number of neutrons in its nucleus. In nature, elements show up with a different count of neutrons. These are called “isotopes” of the element. For example: a nucleus made of one proton is Hydrogen, when it has a proton and a neutron, it is Deuterium, an isotope of Hydrogen. When it has two neutrons and a proton, it is Tritium another isotope of Hydrogen.

When an unstable isotope breaks into smaller atoms, it emits several types of radiation. Of these, the important ones for our purposes and understanding, are neutrons and gamma radiation. These radiation particles, other than being dangerous to us as they ionize atoms (strip their electrons) and created chemical changes, are also capable of activating inert materials by changing the number of their neutrons. Thus, stable isotopes now become unstable. Such unstable isotopes are said to be "radio active." To recap, when you expose a stable matter (iron, led, water, concrete, etc.) to neutron and hard gamma radiation you get radioactive matter.

Let us now view one isotope in particular Uranium 235 (U235). This is a Uranium atom with 92 protons and 143 neutrons. By itself, U235 it is a slightly unstable isotope with a half life time of 704 million years. What this means is that if you leave a one pound piece of Uranium-235 by itself and come back in 704 million years, you will find only a half-pound. Not so dangerous, is it? But when bombarded with neutrons, U235 tends to absorb them. Some of the U235 will then break off, emitting more neutrons which will then break other U235 isotopes. This is called a “Chain Reaction.” When there are enough U235 atoms we have a critical mass and a large amount of energy is released in a small space and short time, creating an explosion. Thus, an Atom Bomb.

In nature U235 makes up only 0.72% of Uranium. To create a highly fissionable substance, uranium is processed to 40% or more U235, and you thenhave what's called, “Enriched Uranium.” It can then be used for atom bombs or as fuel in nuclear reactors.

There are other fissionable isotopes, but let us just deal with U235 for the sake of simplicity.

Nuclear reactors are made with a large metal (steal, laden with lead) tank. In the tank is a pool of heavy water (water in which one of the Hydrogen atoms is Deuterium or Tritium). Rods of enriched uranium (or other fissionable isotopes) are sunk into the heavy water. When the rods are close enough to each other a chain reaction begins, releasing energy into the water which then turns to heat. The heavy water transfers the heat to a close circuit system, the heat from which boils water into steam, which steam is then used to turn turbines to create electricity.

To stop the reaction the rods are sunk into lead containers to keep them away from each other. This is not enough, the rods have to be aggressively chilled to stop any reaction within the rods (hot atoms move a lot and get a lot closer to each other than cold atoms).

When the U235 in the rods is thus actively depleted, we are left with a highly radioactive non-fissionable junk that we now must get rid of. Since nobody wants to deal with it, it is left at the power plant in pools of water.

A few issues with nuclear reactors:

1. The "spent" rods remain highly radioactive.
2. Everything becomes radioactive, in the reactor environment. That includes the heavy water, the closed system recirculating water, and the shielding.
3. Stopping the chain reaction is nothing like throwing the switch on an electric device, or shutting of the gas line to an engine. It is a very complex process that is not instantaneous.

What Happened at the Fukushima Plant

When the earthquake hit the plant, the plants shut-down procedure started immediately, as planned. However, several things went wrong.

1. The electricity to the plant was cut off (not unexpected with such an earthquake).
2. The cooling lines were damaged.
3. With no successful active cooling of the rods, the chain reactions continued (and probably still continue).
4. Due to the intense heat produced by the ongoing chain reactions, the vessels in which the rods are contained started melting (this is the “Meltdown”). At this point, due to massive damage to the reactor, it is very unlikely that we can even run coolant through the container.
5. When the container melts, radioactive lead which is in the area of the rods, finds its way to the surface.
6. Most, if not all the pools that contained water, cracked and the water which was radioactive as well and contained dissolved radioactive metal, leaked to the underground water table and into the ocean.
7. Some of the water turned to radioactive steam which was released into the atmosphere in a big radioactive cloud.
8. Some of the water got so heated that it separated into Hydrogen and Oxygen, which then exploded, thus creating mayhem and further breaking down of containment.
9. The spent rods became exposed to the atmosphere, releasing radioactive and highly toxic junk into the atmosphere.

What may still happen?

The active rods in the molten core may touch each other, reaching critical mass and exploding.

This is in addition to what is happening as above.

What Are the Japanese Doing?

The Japanese authorities are committing several atrocities in trying to resolve the problem while "saving face."

They are sending a teams of heroic people to go into the reactor buildings to work on stabilizing the plant. These people have simply been sent to die. This would have been okay if their mission was a voluntary one to "save the world." However, their mission is to “save face” for the Japanese government and the owners of the plant. The people who sent them should be tried as murderers.

On orders, many tons of water have been poured over the plant. This was done according to some fantasy that the water would somehow find its way through cracks in the walls of the building and refill the pools. This is like expecting 50,000 monkeys with typewriters to come up with the complete works of Shakespeare. Even if some water gets to the pools, the pool are cracked. In reality, the water becomes radioactive and goes into the water table, the ocean, and the atmosphere.

They keep trying to pull cooling lines to the reactors to stop the chain reaction. It's too late for that. The core has melted and these people are dying for nothing.

They tell us to take Potassium - Iodine which is not very helpful. If you want iodine, eat kelp and half an onion a day. Even so, it is of very limited benefit against radiation.

What Should Be Done?

The Fukushima reactors should, as quickly as possible, be entombed along with the plant structures, under layers of concrete and sand. Then shielding should be put in place underground to block the flow of radioactive materials into ground water and the ocean. This is a long and costly project. It should start now.

Why Should We Care?

In the fifties and sixties when nations conducted nuclear explosions in the atmosphere, dangerously high levels of radiation where measured all over the world. It affected the world population. This was not as bad as what is happening now. An atom bomb uses a relatively small amount of U235 and other fissionable material. Each release from the bomb tests was final and most detonations were done in deserts, far from water sources. Yet, radioactive material was found in water, air and food.

Here, in these nuclear power plants, there is vastly more radioactive material and the exposure is continuous. Each reactor core, as it melts down, is capable of releasing the equivalent in radioactive materials as ten-thousand Hiroshima or Nagasaki size atom bombs. We have already seen radioactive rain in Massachusetts (as far east as you can go from Japan and still be in theUS) and radioactive fallout scattered from Japan to our eastern seaboard and beyond. This is just a sign of things to come. It does not take much to affect the oceans. Witness the fact that all fish today contain high levels of mercury. The theory that the ocean will dilute the problem has already proven itself wrong.

What Should We Do?

First we need to take care of ourselves and our loved ones. 200 mg of Niacin a day will help tremendously. Use the type of niacin that causes a flush. Do not go for a buffered one. I am now also working on a source of non-radioactive Strontium for our friends.

We need to write letters to our congressmen and senators, urging them to take action. Our government should bring it up in the UN Security Council. The Japanese have been criminally negligent in this matter. The area should be declared an international disaster zone in which the Japanese government has no jurisdiction, and we should go to work.

Time is working against us.

I don't know who Dr Friedman is but what he has written is spot on.

Who needs fear mongering when all you have to do is look at the truth.

If one is not afraid their inner sensors must be shut down.

Fear is a normal response to extreme threat to life.

Fear is normal. Panic is a reaction not based on logic and intellect.
That some on this thread don't want people to fear is absolutely rediculous.

During panic one frequently looses the ability to make decisions needed to safeguard life.
So don't panic. Make sound choices..

Since the government of Japan does not seem to be able to do what needs to be done
at this point, for what ever reason, it seems logical to get the hell out of there.

i think all these events are planned ... they let it go on in order to get as much radiation as possible in the environment. The most radiation is being dropped in the sea ... first it was the Gulf Oil now its this ... They are killing our seas and us in the long run. So we might not see this as a logical Japan Gov reaction but i am not sure that they are in charge of this problem. Tepco is controlled by someone outside Japan for sure and all this hide and seek with the media is planned to create Fear/Panic so we cant think logical and expose them.

The European Union has authorized radioactive load in foods in Japan has increased substantially. Until now, a maximum of 600 becquerels of radioactivity (cesium 134 and cesium 137) per kilogram allowed, but since last weekend for example oil or herbal suddenly 12,500 becquerels per kilogram, more than 20 times as high. Japan nuke plant dumps radioactive water into sea

TOKYO – Workers began pumping more than 3 million gallons of contaminated water from Japan's tsunami-ravaged nuclear plant into the Pacific Ocean on Monday, freeing storage space for even more highly radioactive water that has hampered efforts to stabilize the reactors.

It will take about two days to pump most of the less-radioactive water out of the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex, whose cooling systems were knocked out by the magnitude-9.0 earthquake and tsunami on March 11.

Radioactivity is quickly diluted in the ocean, and government officials said the dump should not affect the safety of seafood in the area.

Since the disaster, water with different levels of radioactivity has been pooling throughout the plant. People who live within 12 miles (20 kilometers) have been evacuated and have not been allowed to return.

The pooling water has damaged systems and the radiation hazard has prevented workers from getting close enough to power up cooling systems needed to stabilize dangerously vulnerable fuel rods.

On Saturday, they discovered that some radioactive water was pouring into the ocean.

The less-radioactive water that officials are purposely dumping into the sea is up to 500 times the legal limit for radiation.

Japan's ocean radiation hits 7.5 million times legal limit

By Kenji Hall and Julie Makinen, Los Angeles Times April 5, 2011, 4:39 a.m.

Reporting from Tokyo—
The operator of Japan's stricken Fukushima nuclear plant said Tuesday that it had found radioactive iodine at 7.5 million times the legal limit in a seawater sample taken near the facility, and government officials imposed a new health limit for radioactivity in fish.

The reading of iodine-131 was recorded Saturday, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said. Another sample taken Monday found the level to be 5 million times the legal limit. The Monday samples also were found to contain radioactive cesium at 1.1 million times the legal limit.

The exact source of the radiation was not immediately clear, though Tepco has said that highly contaminated water has been leaking from a pit near the No. 2 reactor. The utility initially believed that the leak was coming from a crack, but several attempts to seal the crack failed.

On Tuesday the company said the leak instead might be coming from a faulty joint where the pit meets a duct, allowing radioactive water to seep into a layer of gravel underneath. The utility said it would inject "liquid glass" into gravel in an effort to stop further leakage.

Meanwhile, Tepco continued releasing what it described as water contaminated with low levels of radiation into the sea to make room in on-site storage tanks for more highly contaminated water. In all, the company said it planned to release 11,500 tons of the water, but by Tuesday morning it had released less than 25% of that amount.

Although the government authorized the release of the 11,500 tons and has said that any radiation would be quickly diluted and dispersed in the ocean, fish with high readings of iodine are being found.

On Monday, officials detected more than 4,000 bequerels of iodine-131 per kilogram in a type of fish called a sand lance caught less than three miles offshore of the town of Kita-Ibaraki. The young fish also contained 447 bequerels of cesium-137, which is considered more problematic than iodine-131 because it has a much longer half-life.

On Tuesday chief cabinet secretary Yukio Edano said the government was imposing a standard of 2,000 bequerels of iodine per kilogram of fish, the same level it allows in vegetables. Previously, the government did not have a specific level for fish. Another haul of sand lance with 526 bequerels of cesium was detected Tuesday, in excess of the standard of 500 bequerels per kilogram.

Fishing of sand lances has been suspended. Local fishermen called on Tepco to halt the release of radioactive water into the sea and demanded that the company compensate them for their losses.

Fishing has been banned near the plant, and the vast majority of fishing activity in the region has been halted because of damage to boats and ports by the March 11 tsunami and earthquake. Still, some fishermen are out making catches, only to find few buyers because of fears about radiation.

It was unclear what Tepco might offer the fishermen, but the company did say Tuesday that it had offered "condolence payments" totaling 180 million yen ($2 million) to local residents who had to evacuate their homes because of radiation from the Fukushima plant. One town, however, refused the payment.

The company has yet to decide how it will compensate residents near the plant for damages, though financial analysts say the claims could be in the tens of billions of dollars. Tepco's executive vice president Takashi Fujimoto said the company's decision on damages hinges on how much of the burden the government will share.

Edano urged the company to accelerate its decisions on compensation.

For now the company has offered to give 20 million yen ($240,000) to each of 10 villages, towns and cities within 12 miles of the plant, Fujimoto said.

"We hope they will find it of some use for now," he said.

Namie, a town of 20,600 located about 6 miles north of the plant, refused to take the money. Town official Kosei Negishi said that he and other government officials were working out of a makeshift office in Nihonmatsu city, elsewhere in Fukushima prefecture, and that they faced more pressing issues.

"The coastal areas of Namie were hit hard by the earthquake and the tsunami but because of the radiation and the evacuation order we haven't had a chance to conduct a search for the 200 people who are missing," said Negishi. "Why would we use our resources to hand out less than 1,000 yen ($12) to every resident?"

Tokyo Electric Power's Fujimoto acknowledged that there was a "gap" in the views of company and Namie officials.

Tepco's shares dropped to an all-time low Tuesday, falling by the maximum daily trading limit -- about 18% -- to 362 yen, below the previous record low of 393 yen reached in December 1951. The company's share price has lost 80% of its value -- nearly 1.1 trillion yen -- since the quake and tsunami, according to the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

"We take the stock price decline very seriously," Fujimoto told reporters.

Fujimoto said the company's annual earnings report, which was originally scheduled for April 28, would be postponed, but he declined to give any other details.

Yes lots of water talk at the moment. Really trying not to watch the news but even the internet news is dodgy as hell. It's hard to fathom whats what but it's not hard to fathom that it's all going to pieces. Not sure if I have evaded enough radiation but 2 weeks back in Tokyo should bring me back on board. Yes we are ending our mini tour of the south west.

3 weeks of living in hotels and working the streets that have been surprisingly very good. I was worried about doing my act as it involves Zombies dying and being brought back to life in a comical way but all the same you'd think I'd get some stick but everyone enjoyed it and welcomed us with open arms.

We thought we was only popular in Tokyo but it seems that some towns were honored with our presence and made special announcements before we started our shows.. very nice of them. The misses grabbed all the cash to cover our hotel bills so we haven't lost much. She usually lets us keep our hat money but this time it's all about working as a team and she is our leader. The boss. She gave us food money in dribs and drabs. It worked though.

We'll only be in Tokyo for 2 weeks before leaving again to another plain. In Nagoya at the moment and I can almost taste the radiation. No doubt I'll be wearing a mask everyday once I get back which makes life kinda strange, especially when having some hanky panky with the misses. Throw in some aftershocks and it's an all out new experience...

Sorry I shouldn't jest,

Watched an amazing thing on JTV about a man who sailed his boat into the tsunami as he had no chance of return and he conquered it. Like sailing up a mountain and praying he'd make it over. He did make it but wow can you imagine that? He had to do it 3 times.

Watching school kids giving the elderly massages at the houseless peoples temporary school halls is tearful. The kids in Fukushima start school today and they had radiation scans before entering the schools. Amazing.

I thought I'd been given a pretty grim job of trying to get a western performer to attend a festival in golden week (next month) in Tokyo but the first guy I asked was a performer called Anthony Livingspace and he accepted on the spot. I asked " are you not scared?" he replied "I'm always scared" I was stunned. He continued " I always feel I'm living on borrowed time so what the hell, lets have some fun" I booked him immediately.

Oh and the misses has had a death in the family. No it's got nothing to do with the recent events and she has to attend the funeral. Oh whilst we are on the subject of funeral let me explain the bizarre process of a cremation here.

1 year ago my friends dad died and I attended the funeral. At first I was shocked at the fact that it was an open casket but thats just because it was my first time. After the speeches and stuff we all left in vans and cars and I thought it was over but we arrived at another place and they carried him out in the coffin and put him on a table in front of a huge kiln/oven type of thing and everyone was crying and saying their goodbyes and then they opened the door and wheeled him to the kiln. I was edging out the door but they all stayed and watched.

I was outside by this time thinking surly this was it but then after 20 minuets or so the kiln was opened and they all gathered around ... this is when the shock really hit me as here he lay as a half skeleton as some bones hadn't turned to dust and the family all surrounded him and then the priest gently brushed all the bones and dust in a neat pile. Then he passed everyone what looked like a large pair of chop-sticks and everyone gently picked up a bone and put it in a jar to keep. I had to do this also. Very strange. Don't know why I just told you all that but not a lot of people know this.

Anyway on a more lighter note I'd like to say that the rest of Japan is totally normal and everyone is working hard to help all those in suffering. I have travelled the length of Japan and it's truly a beautiful country with wonderful people and I'm personally proud that I didn't jump ship. Actually looking forward to Tokyo tomorrow and seeing all my friends again because nearly everyone who'd left with us at the start of our mini convoy tour have all but returned.

I'd rather be no-one than someone with no one.

BIG love from Japan,

Ski-

Thanks Ski for this thread which I have been following since its inception. Fantastic receiving information from the inside and although in some instances very moving it has all been incredibly interesting. I was fascinated to learn about the Japanese cremation too. I remember a year or so ago watching a fascinating series called Around the World in 80 Faiths where you saw an Indonesian funeral of a woman from the Tana Toraja tribe who had been dead 20 years. The family had been living with her almost mummified corpse for all that time and carried on treating her as if she was alive. They had no fear of the dead as western cultures sometimes do.

Maryland senior scientist: “Very surprised” over radioactive iodine-131 findings — “A fat red bar” on graph never seen before

On the lookout for radiation in Maryland, Baltimore Sun, April 4, 2011:
[Emphasis Added]

… But on March 23, when the signature of radioactive iodine 131 turned up in an air filter tested in one of the state health lab’s gamma-ray counters, Abudureheman Abulimiti, a senior scientist in the [Maryland health department] lab, wasn’t ready to believe it.

Although the radiation lab has been monitoring the state’s air and water for decades, this was the first time its current employees — too new to recall the Chernobyl meltdown in 1986 — had seen a radioactive byproduct from a reactor accident.
“I was very surprised,” said Abulimiti, who’s been there about seven years. “I immediately got in contact with … my supervisor. Something was going on.” …
The display is a vertical bar graph, and on March 23, Abulimiti spotted a fat red bar toward the left side of the graph where he had never seen one before. Its energy level identified it as iodine 131. It was unmistakable. …

Will let you know what happens. Oh and on a live shot of a city up north being shaken a strange explosion could be seen in the distance???

Edit:
Oh and Sendai is reporting a blackout. i'm guessing the explosion was in Sendai. Real strange blue flashing and seriously bright. Looked like what you'd expect a UFO would do before hitting the skies again. They have stopped showing live pictures of it now. Anyone else see this?

Oh and it was at 11.33pm on my clock but they say it's 11.32pm.

It is so great to get updates from Ski ~ I would like to suggest that someone start a new thread about Ski and his adventures that breaks away from this one. It is hard to find his posts as they are intermingled within so many reports on radiation levels and while that's a legitimate continuation of this thread it is huge now ~ and it's too dependent on negatives. There is little mention of all the millions who continue to consciously and in great unity bring healing blessings to the waters and to cool down the reactors and bless Japan.

Another earthquake hit Japan today which may indicate that the PTB are continuing these attacks on Japan. The blue lights we've been seeing in other parts of the world may be evidence of scalar waves, does anyone know? We might want to consider this a sign of something important when they are seen during and around so many earthquake areas.

I bless Ski and the people of Japan for their loving hearts and great endurance and generosity of spirit. And so it is... xoxox

In one part an old lady says something interesting to me., I''ll quote her.

"I was almost as scared as much as last time,”
said the 64-year-old while smoking a cigarette outside. “It’s enough.”

She said she started screaming when the quake struck.

“Something has changed,” she said. “The world feels strange now. Even the way the clouds move isn’t right.”

My guess is that the blue lights were the result of transformers exploding and causing the black out. So I think it's simple and the reason I think it's simple is that even on March 11th when we all thought we were getting live pictures from helicopters over the tsunamis they weren't actually live.
I recorded them from the TV and noticed that every time it looked like the wave was about to wash away a speeding car the clip would switch views. If people were running from the tsunami and they obviously weren't going to make it the camera would switch. This was in the tiniest detail as I have watched them all in slow motion. So as we all know the media shows you what they wish to show you.
Also most of the UFO orbs that were viewed on that day were fake. The black smokey one over the tsunami as it arrives from the ocean is merely a helicopter and the maker of the video has added a smudge over it.
Lots of the white orbs were seagulls that were again fixed to look like orbs. If we don't need flying cameras to see whats actually happening then I'm convinced that our custodians don't need to either.

Heres a video from a while back showing the same blue flashes but in smaller doses.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWnu1hdngo8&feature=feedwll&list=WL

This is my opinion although I don't doubt for a second that Japan has been attacked but not in the way we think. There is a lot going on at the moment and it's just the start of something possibly massive. But remember that there is a lot of pigeon crumbs spilling over the opportunity plate. If that blue light was something they didn't want us to see then we'd of seen nothing. Realistically.

Big love from the seemingly unfair guinea pig of nuclear attacks.. Japan.

The Fukushima Dictionary of Physics Terminology (satire)

(NaturalNews) Does all the physics terminology from Fukushima news reports have your head spinning? Have no fear, NaturalNews readers: I've assembled this handy dandy dictionary of all the terms you need to know to follow Fukushima developments as if you were a double-PhD physics geek. Enjoy!

Editor's Note: Fukushima is no laughing matter, of course, but the lack of understanding of the laws of physics throughout the mainstream media is sadly hilarious. Laughter and humor are healthy for relieving stress, and right now, a lot of people need some stress relief over this situation. In no way does this take away from the seriousness of the Fukushima situation, and we will resume our serious reporting on Fukushima in the days ahead. See the bottom of this article for additional notes about Fukushima and this satire piece.

Dictionary of Radiation (and physics) Terms:

Half Life - How much of your lifespan has now been taken away by listening to the misinformation being spewed out by the mainstream media's reporting on Fukushima.

Table of elements - The place where all the seafood from Japan is now resting while we try to figure out if eating it will cause our hair to fall out.

Reactor Number Two - What happens in the toilet stall after you eat McDonald's Happy Meal Combo #1.

Under control - Hopelessly out of control and probably likely to explode at any minute. As in, "Reactor No. 2 is completely under control now."

Neutron - The new sci-fi movie starring Jeff Bridges, as opposed to the "Old Tron."

Cesium - Part of the answer given by nuclear safety workers when asked, "Where is the Fukushima safety manager?" The reply? "I thinks I cesium somewhere around here..."

Safe - The new government euphemism for "more than enough to give you cancer." As in, "The radioactive fallout from Fukushima is now SAFE."

Millisieverts - Something related to Becquerels, or curies, or something physics sounding, but nobody really knows, and it has something to do with the inverse square or something else we probably should have learned in high school physics but we weren't paying attention because we were all too busy trying to figure out how to cheat on the final exam.

Geiger counter - Obama's new nationwide employment plan that involves millions of census workers ("Geigers") aimlessly wandering the streets of America trying to count how many people there are if they would only hold still for long enough.

Nukular - How George W. Bush pronounces "nuclear." To master the "nukular" pronunciation, simply start with the word "nuclear" and then subtract one hundred IQ points.

Fission - The result of the collision between one loose cannon idea and a spherical critical mass of bureaucratic corruption in the power industry. The resulting explosion gives off two additional loose cannon ideas that go on to cause a chain reaction throughout the entire government leading to a total meltdown of integrity.

Inadvertent recriticality - A clever way of covertly rephrasing, "The damn thing is melting down for some reason and we have no friggin' clue why."

Inert gas - What's actually coming out of the mouths of the nuclear industry spin doctors who continue to insist nuclear energy is the future of "green energy" on planet Earth. Apparently, nuclear energy will only save the planet by killing off human civilization first. Pure genius!

Preparedness plan - What the U.S. government now officially describes as "doing nothing other than staying informed" which, of course, means sitting on the couch watching TV while consuming McDonald's Happy Meal Combo #1.

Editor's Note: Please do not misinterpret the intention of this satire piece. We take the Fukushima disaster extremely seriously and have published numerous stories urging people to stay informed and get prepared. We have also donated $12,000 to Fukushima rescue efforts (http://www.naturalnews.com/031744_r...) and helped thousands of NaturalNews readers get prepared through our NaturalNews Store.

This story is intended to bring some levity to the heavy, heavy use of physics terms that now seem to dominate the news, even though virtually no one outside the scientific community seems to understand what these terms even mean. In fact, the media itself seems to be wildly ignorant of physics (http://www.naturalnews.com/031935_m...). And the government seems to be just inventing new laws of physics as it goes along... "Oh yeah, you can eat radioactive fish, no problem..."

Whilst I was in my need for normality mood I watched Bob Deans latest interview starting with playing it and cleaning up my room so as to not pay full attention and as always I end up hooked and hanging on his every word and as always he made me feel heaps better about everything.

COMMUNICATE.

This thread is for me information to what we are NOT being told. If we do not know what we are dealing with how can we stand together and face it.

Thanks to all who put forth the effort to tell the truth be it good or bad and keep us informed with the latest news on this catastrophic event that continues to unfold and will for a long time to come...

I don't think we can turn away and it will go away.

This is very sad and scary stuff we are dealing with. We can put together our collective positive thoughts for a benevolent outcome which I try to do on a daily basis.

How would life be different if we lived by the rule, “Whatever we fear, we must face”?

Think of fear as a homing beacon, not an obstacle. Knowledge is power...

Yup I was soaked and I came back and stripped and showered and was scrubbing the crap out of my skin when we got hit with another aftershock. Goddam it I was naked and I couldn't run outside. My misses just ran into the room saying her ears were buzzing and then DING DING DING the TV says big one coming.

She senses all these all the time and she is now in a bit of a stress as she feels large vibrations in her head.

Tsunami warnings are expected in Ibaraki .. yeah the Fukushima plant is in the firing line. Just 2 meters warnings. Nothing to worry about for now. But the aftershocks were quite big and I feel we have more coming.

Japan To Raise Nuke Accident Severity Level To Highest 7TOKYO (Kyodo)--Japan has decided to raise the severity level of the accident at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant to 7, the worst on an international scale, from the current 5, government sources said Tuesday.

Similar to benevolentcrow's post, but coming from Bloomberg:

Japan Lifts Atomic Alert to Highest Level, Matching Chernobyl

Japan raised the severity rating of its nuclear crisis to the highest, matching the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, after increasing radiation prompted the government to widen the evacuation zone and aftershocks rocked the country.

Japan’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency today raised the rating to 7. The accident at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi station was previously rated 5 on the global scale, the same as the 1979 partial reactor meltdown at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania.

The stricken nuclear plant, located about 220 kilometers (135 miles) north of Tokyo, is leaking radiation in Japan’s worst civilian nuclear disaster after a magnitude-9 quake and tsunami on March 11. Tokyo Electric Power Co. said its plant, which has withstood hundreds of aftershocks, may spew more radiation than Chernobyl before the crisis is contained.

“The radiation leaks haven’t stopped,” Junichi Matsumoto, general manager of the utility’s nuclear power and plant fitting division, said in Tokyo today. “If the leaks continue, the total radiation from the reactors may exceed” that from Chernobyl.

The radiation released so far from the Fukushima accident is estimated to be around 10 percent of that from Chernobyl, Japan’s nuclear safety agency said earlier.

Today’s rating change won’t lead to a further widening of the evacuation zone beyond the increase announced yesterday, Kenkichi Hirose, an adviser to Prime Minister Naoto Kan’s cabinet, said at the nuclear agency’s news conference.

Thanks for that. A very simple overview without the fear hysteria. Yes the severity of the ready to kill millions of people nuclear plant has been risen to a level 7. Glad they did that and they should of done it long before now. This is nothing new really as we all knew it's a level 7. Maybe even a potential worst ever 8 or 9.

What I found interesting was this. Just keep watching as you see the 11th April aftershocks appear and keep an eye on Fukushima as The reactors are on the right side and down a tad. You'll see a huge amount of aftershocks all hitting the surrounding areas of the power plant. Was this another attack?

Please note * just click the date on the side to April 11th otherwise you'll be sitting through 975 aftershocks*

Oh and we are nearing 1,000 aftershocks since March 11th. So you understand why I can't keep posting on every shake we get. Some of the more less dramatic than 7.6s and 7.1s can be more shaky and scary. The winds last night were confusing as it was like quick blasts of wind and we live in an old house that shakes when a truck passes so it was hard to distinguish an aftershock to just wind.

Woke up this morning to the room trembling and shaking and the misses looked at me with wide eyes and I just hugged her and said "lets not run out into the street on this one please" we lay there hugging tightly whilst swaying and rattlings and rumbles happened around us and I started humming the Titanic tune and we started laughing but she joined in and we were laughing but humming the tune together playing the part in the movie when people had excepted fate and were huddled together in bed. Yes very strange but we found it hilarious.

"Another quake strikes near nuclear plant

ANOTHER powerful aftershock struck near Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant this afternoon, shaking buildings in Tokyo.

No tsunami warning was issued and no damage was immediately reported.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake, which struck at 2.47pm local time (3.47pm AEST), had a magnitude of 6.0 and hit less than 11 kilometres below ground.

Japanese officials had put the magnitude at 6.3.

Its epicentre was 70 kilometres south of Fukushima city in the prefecture of the same name.

Emergency workers grappling to bring stricken reactors under control at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant were ordered to evacuate, an official from operator Tokyo Electric Power said.

"We have no report of any abnormality in the external power to the Fukushima Daiichi plant. But we are inspecting the status of the water hosing and parameters in the area," the official said.

The quake was the second strong aftershock to strike the region today, after a magnitude 6.2 offshore quake hit at 8.08am (9.08am AEST).

That quake had a depth of 13.1km, with its epicentre 77km east of Tokyo, the USGS said.

It caused buildings to sway in the Japanese capital and temporarily stopped subway services.

Its magnitude was initially reported by the USGS as 6.4, while the Japan Meteorological Agency had measured it at 6.3.

Japan has experienced more than 400 major aftershocks stronger than 5.0 in magnitude since the 9.0 earthquake which unleashed a devastating tsunami on March 11.

Frayed nerves were strained further on Monday when coastal areas were put on alert for a possible tsunami after a 6.6 magnitude quake, which Jiji Press said was known to have killed at least one person."

Well i understand what you say but when you fly you dont put that radiated particles inside your body. Its outside of it. Its a bit different right?

i mean they say some particles of plutonium near you can give you cancer maybe in a few years but those same ones inside you will kill you with in weeks.

For sure mate, this got to me also. That lady in the black walking casually whilst the monster tsunami is clawing at her heels. She did make it but only just. I'm guessing you also understand a bit of Japanese. Did you notice they were kind of excited by it all at first and then reality kicks in. Also one woman was risking her life to pull something up the hill with her. Don't know what it was but she risked her life for it. That guy in the red jacket was nearly pulled into it.

I'm guessing a lot more videos would of been made but if they show people being swept away then they won't be allowed or released for obvious reasons.

Anyway it's a lovely sunny day here in Tokyo with cherry blossoms blooming all around. A pleasant day so far.

You missed what i said ... eating and outside body bombardment is totally different. The same amount inside does serious damage when outside the boby will not do much. (we talk about the boby atm not enviroment). Same reason why DU is really dangerous. It isnt the radiation you get from it... its the dust that destroy your lungs when you breath it or your kitnees when you drink it...

What will tapes do to that?

SO what you said about the green food is wrong. Thats what i am saying ... ill repeat : getting radiated from an outside source need X amount of radiation to cause problems. Eating radiated food need A LOT less than X amount of radiation to cause problems.

Anyway you live in the USA so it doesnt matter you are "safe" /wave hand "Nothing to see here move along"

P.S. Now that i see both posts again i am sure you think the exposure is just numbers so it doesnt mater in or out ... but i beg you to go and read doctors about it... not the numbers but the difference in eating radiation and being expose to it.

The point is Rocky, is not always how much radiation but the type of radiation. The type of radiation is of supreme issue. Veggies will collect what falls from the sky, most likely in rain, or polluted irrigaton waters. It there is cesium or plutonium, or uranium, eating a very small amount can mess you up pretty bad. One spec of the wrong stuff might emit a similar value in radiation, but if ingested it can keep pumping out that radiation for a thousand years..and it it gets lodged in the body,,, well, thats not so good. Obviously radio active iodine if settled in the thryoid can do its damage in a few days, being its half life is so short... Iodine can also lodge in breast tissue as there are many iodine receptor sites there also... hence an increase of breast cancer, that is less spoken of, but a reality non the less, with radioactive iodine contamination.

I am not in panic over this situation... just watching. Although I am sure my emotions would be significantly higher if I were over there, and especially if I had children. Being a long follower of Edgar Cayce I see this as perhaps a fullfillment of prophecy,, his accuracy rate has been astounding. He was trying to warn the world so people could have choices when the time came close.

We always have choices, either consciously, or subconsciously. Sometimes people need to be hammered with the choices that are out there before they allow themselves to perceive them. Cayce started hammering many years ago regarding Japan...and other parts of the world also. so when the time came, those who have the sensibiltites can be acutely ware of their choices.

No, I am not in panic... but I would look at the hysterical laughter when an earthquake is in progress... this is reflective of exteme stress... coping mechinisms being pushed to the max.

One man who has been looking at this situation very closely and documenting the possibilites of HAARP, looking at the geology of the region, and trying to connect the dots has said that if Mount Fuji goes off things will be very critical for the Island. His youtube is on this thread somewhere.

Japan is experiencing earthquakes like never before in known history. I'd be taking that as a pretty significant sign. Daily, one after another after another after another, and just when you think it could not go on any longer then a bigger one comes.

But ya, just looking at the signs.

Q: How does the crisis in Japan compare to Chernobyl in terms of radiation released into the atmosphere?

As my colleague in the School of Public Health, Professor Kirk Smith has stated, Chernobyl relative to Fukushima is “like the forest fire compared to the camp fire.” Even in the worst case of a full meltdown of multiple reactors at the Daiichi site and combustion or explosion of the spent fuel in the plant’s storage pools, it will not release as much radioactivity or propel it as high in the atmosphere as Chernobyl.

The Chernobyl reactor had a graphite core that caught fire. The ferocious heat propelled radioactive particles into the upper atmosphere, spreading fallout across Europe. In contrast to the regional contamination from Chernobyl, the Daiichi contamination is very unlikely to extend beyond 30 kilometers from the site.

Q: You’ve mentioned that, in the U.S., stress over radiation is more of a health risk than radiation itself. Can you elaborate?

There is a growing literature in health sciences about the role of stress in disease. We have learned that, at times of stress, our bodies can be flooded with stress hormones that are as damaging as environmental pollutants and at higher blood concentrations than many environmental pollutants. Exposures to stress hormones have been linked to a number of chronic diseases including cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

As noted by the World Health Organization in its long-term study of the health impacts of Chernobyl, “Persistent myths and misperceptions about the threat of radiation have resulted in ‘paralyzing fatalism’ among residents of affected areas.” The WHO also observed that “poverty, ‘lifestyle’ diseases now rampant in the former Soviet Union and mental health problems pose a far greater threat to local communities than does radiation exposure.”

You really think that jsut cause we didnt had an explosion like in chernobyl things are less dangerous in fukusima? Well its all about mass ... they are talking about 100.000 TONS or more of spend fuel ... being totally or partially destroyed. Chernobyl had 1 reactor with a small amount of fuel (compared to fukusima)... And 1 month later the fukusima is still WORKING ... remember when they started to evacuating chernobyl residences? Fukusima has ppl 30k of the plant... 1 month later...

Yes it didnt send too much high up but it keeps sending more and more and more every day for more than a month. ALso the fuel used in Chernobyl was nowhere near as toxic as the MAX fuel they used in some reactors in Fukusima.

Q: What are the health risks to people in Japan, both now and in the months and years to come?

The risks for the Japanese will vary with their distance from the plant, and based on our experiences from Chernobyl, will be much lower than what people now fear. In the short term, there is concern about iodine exposures that could lead in a few years to thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules—especially in the young. These can be treated and are mostly cured or prevented with potassium iodide (KI). In Chernobyl, where the populations were not evacuated or treated with KI, there were about 4000 cases of thyroid cancer among the millions exposed, but fewer than 1 percent became fatal.

In the long term (decades), increased risk of other cancers is also a concern, but again based on the Chernobyl experience, it is likely to be very limited. In Fukushima, wind direction, distance and atmospheric dilution make a big difference, and will likely protect the population from any significant long-term health consequences.

Within the first 30 kilometers (20 miles) of the Daiichi site, the dilution rate is on the order of 10 billion cubic meters (cubic yards) per hour. When one goes out to 80 kilometers (50 miles), the dilution rate of the atmosphere is on the order of 25 billion cubic meters per hour. This means that people beyond the 20 to 30-kilometer boundaries are not likely to experience radiation doses of more that 1 to 5 millisievert over background.

Another concern is the food supply. As we have already seen, iodine isotopes are showing up on leafy vegetables and milk near Fukushima. This will be an issue out to as much as 80 kilometers for about a month. Cesium and strontium can also deposit on vegetation and be transferred to the food supply. These are issues that will be monitored for a longer period and perhaps over a larger geographic region.

You really trust this guy? They have found radiation in US SOIL ... and he just says 30k of the plants... omg

Quick note on the xenon 133 scare...

“An operating nuclear power plant here, San Onofre (Nuclear Generating Station) for example, would be legally allowed to release 200,000 times this concentration of xenon 133 continuously for an entire year. That’s how small we’re talking,” said Barbara Hamrick, a certified health physicist and radiation safety officer at UC Irvine Medical Center.

Xenon-133 isn’t absorbed by the body and is not a health threat, Hamrick said. The value in monitoring it is to determine nuclear fission has occurred and to track radiation movement...

Well we worked in the first festival in Tokyo since March 11th. Whilst in the changing rooms with all the performers we had an aftershock and they were all laughing and making jokes about the chinese circus acts that would involve someone doing a hand stand on top of 12 chairs. The day was excellent. The audiences were awesome and we made more money than normal.

Usually when 2 westerners pass each other in Japan there seems to be some sort of arrogance like ' I have been here for ages ' type of thing or they talk Japanese to you trying to prove that not only did they come to live in Japan but they are in fact Japanese.. lol. Well that attitude has all but vanished. Now when I pass other westerners it's all smiles and nods and most of the time we end up chatting.

The readings for Tokyo are so small that it's hardly worth checking on but everyone still does. I had a great day and I didn't have to change the show one bit. You see usually when a disaster hits Japan they cancel ALL events because it's frowned upon to have a festival whilst others are suffering. Well they had charity boxes everywhere and were collecting huge donations for people who have lost homes and stuff.

We have this application on the i-phone that warns you when an aftershock is coming and whilst we were on the train the other day everyones phone went off and everyone just calmly checked what area and stuff and the train didn't stop because it was miles away but it made me laugh as everyone acts all cool and stuff but they all had this app downloaded. And I mean everyones phone went off. So I guess it suits all phones. Quite amusing.

Oh and I heard that the radiation levels seem to be higher in other countries compared to Japans. Not sure if this is true as I haven't checked other countries radiation levels but that would seem odd. Maybe lots of nuclear experiments happening with everyone ready to blame Japan. I'll have to check into this.

We are working again in the same place tomorrow. You know I'm so glad that I experienced this in Japan because they have shown me a way to deal with fear. Yes you might think they are just stupid and have nowhere to go but you will be far off the mark. Japan is a rich country and 80% of these people especially in Tokyo could move to greater plains in a flash. They are simply fearless and have faith. Yes it terrified me at first but I have become seriously stronger about peoples predictions. Like Japan is sinking and the nuclear disaster will kill millions.

I understand that this site tries to cover everything and looks at stuff from all angles and sometimes you get it right. Your best feature is the warmth you give when someones having a hard time. You made me feel like I have real prayers and well wishes from people that actually do use energy and the force to protect a fellow member and I can't thank you all enough for that. For the people that seemed to not get the point of this thread and posted amazingly worrying stuff then I just hope you can handle yourselves if anything like this comes your way.

After all the people of Christchurch are battling to rebuild that wonderful city of theirs and that shows you that it's not just the Japanese but we are all like this. We will not run away from our problems and we will rebuild and make good from bad. Always make good from bad. Accomplishing triumph over diversity is something that a good friend told me that I had.

This thread will eventually filter out as I strongly believe that things aren't as bad as they seem. I hope this to be the case and from now on I'll be busy for at least 2 weeks or more. I'll be watching out for those members from Perth whom I can meet up with soon. We have to organize a meeting spot and hang out.

Basically just wanted to say that for the first time since March 11th I felt like everything was normal. The aftershocks are nothing, after all we had millions of them before the 11th and will have millions more after. Lets just hope that the Fukushima power plant stops farting out radiation altogether and lets pray that we can live in a nuclear power free earth one day.

Big love from a 'recovering very well thank you' Japan.

Nuclear Event – North-America – USA
April 17, 2011 on 7:25 am | In Disasters | No Comments

EDIS Number: NC-20110417-30361-USA
Date / time: 17/04/2011 11:24:16 [UTC]
Event: Nuclear Event
Area: North-America
Country: USA
State/County: State of Virginia

Damage level: Minor

Description:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff is monitoring the situation at the Surry nuclear power plant after the site lost offsite power early Saturday evening due to a tornado affecting an electrical switchyard next to the plant. The NRC is monitoring the event through the NRC resident inspectors at the site and in the Atlanta regional office. The plant is operated by Dominion. The two units at the Surry plant automatically shut down after losing offsite power. Four of the plant’s diesel generators started to power the units’ emergency loads, an NRC spokesman said in a press release. Plant operators have partially restored offsite power to both plants, and safety systems have operated as needed. Dominion notified the NRC of the situation soon after it happened and the agency dispatched its resident inspectors to the Surry plant site as well as staffed its incident response center in Atlanta. Dominion declared an "unusual event," the lowest of the four NRC emergency classification levels, around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Great Source for real info...

TEPCO has provided a plan to NISA for the transfer of highly contaminated water from the basement of the turbine building of Unit 2 to the main building of the radioactive waste treatment facilities, to reduce the risk of this stagnant waste water being discharged to the environment. Measures to ensure that the radioactive waste treatment facility is watertight were completed on 18 April and the transfer of water from Unit 2 was commenced on 19 April.

Plant Status

Work to strengthen the electrical power system between Units 1 - 2 and Units 3 - 4 was completed on 19 April. White "smoke" continues to be emitted from Units 2, 3 and 4.

In Unit 1 fresh water is being continuously injected into the reactor pressure vessel through the feedwater line at an indicated flow rate of 6 m3/h using a temporary electric pump with off-site power. In Units 2 and 3 fresh water is being continuously injected into the reactor pressure vessel through the fire extinguisher line at an indicated rate of 7 m3/h using a temporary electric pump with off-site power. In Unit 4 fresh water continues to be sprayed onto the spent fuel pool using a concrete pump truck.

Nitrogen gas is being injected into the containment vessel in Unit 1 to reduce the possibility of hydrogen combustion within the containment vessel. The pressure in the containment vessel has stabilized. The pressure in the reactor pressure vessel is increasing.

The reactor pressure vessel temperatures in Unit 1 remain above cold shutdown conditions. The indicated temperature at the feedwater nozzle of the reactor pressure vessel is 164 °C and that at the bottom of reactor pressure vessel is 114 °C.

The reactor pressure vessel temperatures in Unit 2 remain above cold shutdown conditions. The indicated temperature at the feed water nozzle of the reactor pressure vessel is 133 °C. The reactor pressure vessel and the dry well remain at atmospheric pressure.

The temperature at the bottom of the reactor pressure vessel in Unit 3 remains above cold shutdown conditions. The indicated temperature at the feed water nozzle of the reactor pressure vessel is 99 °C and that at the bottom of reactor pressure vessel is 110 °C. The reactor pressure vessel and the dry well remain at atmospheric pressure.

There has been no change in the status in Units 5 and 6 or in the common spent fuel storage facility.

2. Radiation Monitoring

On 19 April, deposition of I-131 was detected in 13 prefectures, ranging from 1.8 to 368 Bq/m2. Deposition of Cs-137 was detected in seven prefectures, the values reported ranging from 2.4 to 160 Bq/m2.

Gamma dose rates are measured daily in all 47 prefectures. For Fukushima on 20 April a gamma dose rate of 1.9 µSv/h was reported, and for Ibaraki prefecture a gamma dose rate of 0.13 µSv/h was reported. In all other prefectures, reported gamma dose rates were below 0.1 µSv/h.

In cooperation with local universities, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has set up an additional monitoring programme. For 19 April, measurements of the gamma dose rates were reported for 53 cities in 40 prefectures. In Fukushima City a value of 0.42 µSv/h was reported. For all other cities reported gamma dose rates were below 0.13 µSv/h.

In drinking water, I-131 or Cs-137 is detectable, but at levels below 1 Bq/L and in only a few prefectures. As of 17 April, one restriction on drinking water for infants relating to I-131 (100 Bq/L) is in place in a small scale water supply in a village of the Fukushima prefecture.

Food monitoring data reported by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on 19 April covered a total of 36 samples. These were taken on 4, 18 and 19 April from eight prefectures (Chiba, Fukushima, Gunma, Ibaraki, Kanagawa, Nagano, Niigata and Saitama). Analytical results for 35 of the samples of various vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, fruit (strawberries), edible shoots (Japanese Angelica tree), seafood, yoghurt and unprocessed raw milk indicated that I-131, Cs-134 and Cs-137 were either not detected or were below the regulation values set by the Japanese authorities. One sample of seafood (sand lance) taken on 18 April from the coastal region of Fukushima had levels above the regulation values set by the Japanese authorities for I-131 and also for radioactive caesium.

3. Marine Monitoring

TEPCO Monitoring Programme

TEPCO is conducting a programme for seawater monitoring (by surface sampling) at a number of near-shore and off-shore monitoring locations. Following a directive from NISA, on 16 April TEPCO announced that it will increase the number of sea sampling points from ten to 16. A further four points are to be added at 3 km from the coast and two points are to be added at 8 km from the coast. The new sampling sites are indicated on Map 1: TEPCO Seawater Sampling Locations, on which new points are indicated with green bullets.

On some days, two samples were collected at the same sampling point, a few hours apart, and analysed separately.

Until 3 April a generally decreasing trend in radioactivity was observed at the sampling points TEPCO 1 to TEPCO 4. After the discharge of contaminated water from the plant on 4 April, a temporary increase in radioactivity in seawater was reported. Since 5 April a general downward trend in the concentration of radionuclides in seawater for all TEPCO sampling points has been observed.

On 20 April no new data for TEPCO 1 - 4 sampling points were reported. For TEPCO 5 - 10, data for TEPCO 8 only were reported on 20 April (for sampling on 17 April). Both I-131 and Cs-137 were below 0.1 kBq/L...

These videos on the internet that strike fear into you have nothing on striking fear compared to what type of stuff I hear. For example..

Japanese Kid.
A kid in school went to his teacher whom was pregnant and said " your baby will die " and it was ignored but yes she lost her child and then the kid said to many teachers and adults that in March big earthquake coming but you won't die and we all here won't die. Now this got everyones attention as you can imagine and just yesterday the kid says in May another big earthquake coming and teacher and everybody will die. They are based near the Yokosuka American Air Base.

Also the American company (******) (because naming companies can get you killed). Are here in Japan ready to take over the food market because of Japanese having radiation falling on farms so they are cashing in and starting with organizing the fields of non fighting for the sun, all equal plants. We eat and we become the same. All equal. Yeah well they're here now.

These companies will be massive of course and you simply don't F**K with them. They'll be wanting this wonderful radiation threat to continue worldwide and will be loving the scary videos posted on the web. Remember that there are thousands of untouched farms here in Japan. It's going to take time but they are here. No doubt the job will get done.

O.K. anyway I'm in Perth and enjoying the wonderful fresh air. Ready to start work today and test the audiences. It's nice to have a break from it all but that kids prediction has spooked me lol... Liked really spooked me.

Yes I'll be in Japan in May. Well parts of it. Hope it's the safe part. Dam that kids spooked me....

Assholes. The japanese are starting to seriously lose the plot with the so called government.

Should be a massive march tomorrow in Tokyo.http://www.enepare.org/ sorry the link is in Japanese. It's called Energy Shift Parade. Basically the Japanese are starting to kick off about having nuclear plants and want them all removed. I really hope these marches get bigger and bigger. I want the Japanese to get seriously angry and loose the plot and just go mental. They need to be heard. They also need to release all that built up tension.

Oh and yes about Mt. Fuji.
Last time Japan had a huge earthquake Mt. Fuji blew it's top 49 days after. But this was 300 years ago and the earthquake would of been natural and not manipulated or encouraged. But still in 1707 this happened. Tokyo was smothered in ash like a blanket of snow.

Other than that I'm loving Perth, this little Fremantle town is so sweet. The sky is clear. The boats make huge deep farts at night and the people are so friendly. The sea breeze air is wonderful and the audiences are just brilliant. Great place. We already don't want to go back.

This really is a great festival.

I also notice that in Perth the news for the rest of the world doesn't seem to effect them. Like the Japan disaster is already old news. Nobody seems to hound us about it. I have to bring up the subject and they just go " ah yeah that was a bummer" I just love the Australians laid back attitude. Then again an Australian Prime Minster was swimming one day in a shark infested area and was never seen again. (probably eaten alive by sharks) yup !! this never made it to the world news media.

The march in tokyo was less people than last time.. sigh.. they just don't have that passion for power to the people. They'll forever be walked over. Saw a really cute picture of a kid of 4 years old in the march with a sign she made by herself saying
" Bye Bye nuclear plant in multi color pens' so sweet.

So long as it remains an informative, uplifting and connecting thread -- it will remain near the top of its sub-forum. So far it has remained very active, and so shows no signs of sinking far down the "Earthquakes, Latest reports and discussions" forum.

What I did do was remove the sticky attribute from 3 other earthquake threads that were only briefly active a month ago, for smaller quakes.

As of 2010, the city had an estimated population (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population) of 419,067 and a population density (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population_density) of 4,160 people per km˛ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_kilometer). It covered an area of 100.62 km˛. Yokosuka is the 11th most populous city in Greater Tokyo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Tokyo), 12th in the Kantō region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kant%C5%8D_region)
-------------------------------------
From the 1950s, United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Fleet_Activities_Yokosuka) has been home port for the United States Seventh Fleet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Seventh_Fleet), and played a critical support role in the Korean War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_War) and the Vietnam War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_War). Yokosuka was the site of many anti-war protests during the late 1960s and 1970s. The nuclear powered USS George Washington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_George_Washington_(CVN-73)) is currently based at Yokosuka, the first time a U.S. nuclear powered ship has been permanently based in Japan. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Maritime_Self-Defense_Force) also operates a military port next to the American base, as well as numerous training facilities at scattered locations around the city.
In 2001, Yokosuka was designated as a core city (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_city), with increased autonomy from the central government.

Economy
Aside from the economic impact of its various military facilities, Yokosuka is also an industrial city, with factories operated by Nissan Motors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Motors) and its affiliated subsidiaries employing thousands of local residents. The Nissan Maxima (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Maxima) and Infiniti G20 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiniti_G20) are assembled in the 520,000 square metre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_metre) Oppama plant (追浜工場) in Yokosuka. The plant has been said to have played a significant role in Nissan’s revival with its one car per minute output and quick four day reconfiguration between assembly of various autos. The plant is adjacent to Nissan's Research and Development Center, the Oppama Proving Ground and the Oppama Wharf, from which Nissan ships vehicles made at Oppama and Nissan’s other two Japanese vehicle assembly plants to other regions of Japan and overseas to other global markets.
The Yokosuka Research Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokosuka_Research_Park), established in 1997, is a major center for the Japanese telecommunications industry, and is where many of the wireless, mobile communications related companies have set up their research and development centers and joint testing facilities
-------------------------------------
The 1923 Great Kantō earthquake (関東大震災, Kantō daishinsai? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Installing_Japanese_character_sets)) struck the Kantō (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kant%C5%8D) plain on the Japanese (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan) main island of Honshū (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honsh%C5%AB) at 11:58:44 am JST on September 1, 1923. Varied accounts hold that the duration of the earthquake was between 4 and 10 minutes. The Kantō quake killed between 100,000 and 140,000 people, making it the deadliest earthquake ever to strike Japan.
The quake had a magnitude of 7.9 on the Richter scale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richter_magnitude_scale),[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_Great_Kanto_earthquake#cite_note-0#cite_note-0) with its focus deep beneath Izu Ōshima (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izu_%C5%8Cshima) Island in Sagami Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sagami_Bay).
7070
-------------------------------------
The panic and confusion created by the earthquake led to numerous false rumors spreading both inside and outside of the affected regions. Japanese newspaper articles carried confused stories, variously reporting the total annihilation of Tokyo and the Japanese cabinet, the entire Kantō region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kant%C5%8D_region) sinking into the sea, the destruction of the Izu Islands (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izu_Islands) due to volcanic eruptions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volcano), and a giant tsunami (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsunami) reaching as far inland as Akagi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Akagi) (at the northernmost corner of the Kantō Plain, almost halfway across the width of the country).
The Home Ministry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Ministry_(Japan)) declared martial law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martial_law), and ordered all sectional police chiefs to make maintenance of order and security a top priority. One particularly pernicious rumor was that Koreans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zainichi_Korean) were taking advantage of the disaster, committing arson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arson) and robbery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robbery), and were in possession of bombs. In the aftermath of the quake, mass murder of Koreans by brutal mobs occurred in urban Tokyo and Yokohama, fueled by rumors of rebellion and sabotage.[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_Great_Kanto_earthquake#cite_note-10#cite_note-10) Some newspapers reported the rumors as fact, which led to the most deadly rumor of all: that the Koreans were poisoning wells. The numerous fires and cloudy well water, a little-known effect of a large quake, all seemed to confirm the rumors of the panic-stricken survivors who were living amidst the rubble. Vigilante (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigilante) groups set up roadblocks in cities, towns and villages across the region. Because people with Korean accents pronounced "G" or "J" in the beginning of words differently, 15円 50銭 (jū-go-en, go-jū-sen) and がぎぐげご (gagigugego) were used as a shibboleth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shibboleth). Anyone who failed to pronounce them properly was deemed Korean. Some were told to leave, but many were beaten or killed. Moreover, anyone mistakenly identified as Korean, such as Chinese, Okinawans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okinawa), and Japanese speakers of some regional dialects (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialect), suffered the same fate. About 700 Chinese, mostly from Wenzhou (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wenzhou) were killed.[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_Great_Kanto_earthquake#cite_note-11#cite_note-11) A monument commemorating this was built in 1993 in Wenzhou.[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1923_Great_Kanto_earthquake#cite_note-12#cite_note-12)

Now... imagine that those guys had YouTube to spread the panic and disinfo...

My bet is that someone's gonna find Fukushima radio-isotopes on the Moon very soon... and blame it on their favorite unfriendly ETs (well, they are "aliens," right!?).

On Global Research I read this article about the nuclear plants. I would like to post it here because of the connection with the earthquake. The article deals with the question of the possible existance of hidden projects in those reactors (not all of them). Is there anyone who perhaps knows more about this interesting idea?

3 people that were reading the integrity thread all shared with me their visions, and remarkably, they were almost the same...

I had a dream a few weeks back that Japan experienced another major earthquake.. a 8.1 and in the dream I was quite sad to know this as I also knew that more people perished - three days later there was a 7.1 and I read that three people lost their lives.

I honestly have no idea if this is the earth quake I dreamed of and there was a second part.. you may not be comfortable with this next part but it was the same dream- after I 'knew' that people had been killed in the quake- I then saw the Virgin Mary sitting on a chair and she called me to her as though I were a small child. (it is not easy for me to talk about this)

She extended her arms out to me and drew me close to her.. she then said to me- we must help the dear people of Japan.. we must care for them. She said also that we must care for all others, love all others.. Now... (time is short).

now I'm not posting this to frighten anyone, the 11.0 rolled in as a 7.9, now we all know what we are looking for, please continue to send any dreams related to this over to me, when is very important...

I was pissed off the present situation. I felt hopeless for a while.
In Korea, buying radiation cure medicine is impossible as I know. We share the air and sea water with Japanese all the time.
I haven't found a single solution of radiation protection from the mainstream media, government, and professionals in Korea since the accident happened. What kind of world am I live?

I've collected 20 to 30 substances that average people can obtain from food sources and chemicals for radiation cure.

I found just five minutes ago John Hutchison's method to neutralize radiation poison by radio frequencies. Click here to see (http://pesn.com/2011/03/19/9501792_Hutchison_Gives_Instructions_for_Earth_Radiation_Shield/).

I do believe in there are things that each individual can do against the threat or fear whatever we can name it.
Life has to go on whatever it comes. Maybe that's why we made a choice being humans at present time.

I'm sorry for TPTB I'm not that stupid anymore. ;)

Do whatever we can and enjoy the life meanwhile hope world peace and well-being of others.

sheer coincidence that Nissan's electric vehicle production facility producing vehicles that use 0 gas... is located... in Oppama

Nissan says it will deliver 20,000 electric cars by September

Nissan announced today at the New York Auto Show that it is on track to deliver 20,000 back-ordered Leaf electric cars despite numerous delays and production concerns.

The company stopped taking pre-orders for the Leaf once it reached 20,000 reservations for the plug-in electric car. The company hit that target in September last year, and has only delivered about 500 Leaf cars to the U.S. to date. That would mean that the company needs to deliver more than 19,000 cars in 4 months to meet its target.

Nissan already has a vote of confidence from the U.S. government. The U.S. Department of Energy expects Nissan to ship around 25,000 Leaf cars by the end of the year. By the DOE report’s account, 300,000 of the expected 1.2 million electric cars in 2015 will be Nissan Leafs, or one of every four electric cars.

Production of the Leaf has been stalled several times in the past six months, due to a glitch in the air conditioning system and a massive earthquake among other issues. The ambitious electric vehicle has a relatively low (by EV standards) price tag — still a hefty $33,000 — and is designed to attract a wider swath of drivers to the electric car market. It’s labeled by Kelly Blue Book as the first electric car for the masses.

The company said today that the first shipment of Leaf cars produced after the Japanese earthquake would arrive in the United States on April 27. Nissan will re-open reservations for the Leaf for residents in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington at the beginning of May...

One plant is already in production in America and in 2013 will be cranking them out in UK...

a lot has happened this year, but I was shown a dream 7 years ago of an 11+ quake hitting Japan on March 11, it created a tsunami that raced across the ocean slamming America hard enough to pop the relief valve in Yellowstone...

instead of just a few nuke plants going through meltdown, it was most of them... The combined affect of the massive quake and nuke release was to wipe out over 5.5 billion people...

with Divine intervention it first hit Japan as a 7.9, even though instruments around the world registered a 9.1...

several big earthquakes registered and disappeared others were minor...

We're in good hands...

you must be feeling relieved after not knowing for those seven years what was really going to happen
did the dream indicate this year as well, or just March 11th?

And I had known for ages that on March 11th, 11 Uranus was moving into Aries and was sure that Turrialba, a nearby volcano in Costa Rica, was going to go up. Dormant for 400 years but had started smoking during the brief stint of Uranus entrance into Aries, yet stopped when he returned into Pisces. So I thought, well let's see what will happen on March 11 when he entered for the full 7 year transit.
I even have a website which shows a photograph of the crater, renewed every 10 seconds, which I check regularly.

I never put 3/11/11 together as the date, I just realized it was coming and knew it was time to share with everyone the ticket...

after the earth quake was when I realized the 7 years before the quake and the day I shared was 7 before the quake and the day of III + IIII = 777

just another coincidence I'm sure... ;)

Real life is about the meaning we give to it.
Also about allowing that whatever we discover is still only part of a bigger picture.

No one knows it all.
That's why working as a team is so important.

The unified group is what will save the planet in the end.

The trick is to create and maintain that unity.

Rocky, I dont understand this. Athough baking soda binds to uranium, it is still radioactive. It must then be removed from the soil, no? I dont think it makes the soil automatically clean.
It will bind unto uranium specifically if you ingest it, but then your body must pass it out. the body passes easily baking soda and whatever may bind on to it.
If you respond to my question please use a quote so I can find it. I may not be back for several days.
on my blog I have a protocol for exposure, that all people in Japan should be doing, and parts of the protocol for US folk or others likely to receive contamination

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

The oral administration of sodium bicarbonate diminishes the severity of the changes produced by uranium in the kidneys. The kidneys are usually the first organs to show chemical damage upon uranium exposure. Old military manuals suggest doses or infusions of sodium bicarbonate to help alkalinize the urine if this happens. This makes the uranyl ion less kidney-toxic and promotes excretion of the nontoxic uranium-carbonate complex. So useful and strong is sodium bicarbonate that at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, researcher Don York has used baking soda to clean soil contaminated with uranium. Sodium bicarbonate binds with uranium, separating it from the dirt; so far, York has removed as much as 92 percent of the uranium from contaminated soil samples...

It's a Buddhist symbol. Also used in Hinduism and other Asian religions. I don't understand the signifance of pointing out this symbol if you knew it wasn't connected to the Nazis. There are thousands of Buddhist temples in Japan and Mt. I'm sure you're all aware that the Japanese are masters of horror movies. They know what works in fear and they can choose the simplest of methods instead of spending millions to make a horror. This (I'm hoping is an example of that) even if it were just a rumor it's power is huge. Very clever and very scary.

I agree that people having funny feelings and predictions should always be spoke about. Sometimes we could nail an event before it happens. The fact that the event will happen means the energy of it can be picked up and predicted.

But regardless I'll be on edge in May.

About 6 years ago I was a raging alcoholic and was in a mess. I had a panic attack that just made things worse and I'd wake up at all hours shaking and in need of a drink. Yeah imagine waking up at 4 am and trembling and sweating because you needed alcohol. The alcohol would make me sick but it'd calm down my panic attacks. April 1st I decided to quit alcohol. 2 weeks of hard core cold turkey on my own in the dark coughing up black crap from my body and eating nothing. It was hell. Anyway I pulled through and haven't touched a drop since and as you can imagine I have no desire to either.
6 years I'm clean but I still take Solanax because of panic attacks. Yes my job doesn't help but I love my work and it makes me stronger. The recent events didn't help either and I tripled my dosage whilst aftershock after aftershock kept rattling my surroundings. I really want to overcome this dosage and quit these Solanax tablets. It's been 6 years of taking them and I think it's time to quit.
Yes maybe it's a bad time to attempt it but have any of you taken stuff like Solanax. How do you quit? Are they dangerous to your health? Sorry I know this might be a tad off topic but I have been meaning to ask about this and since this thread has people listening to me, I thought it be better to ask for a little advice here.

On that note I have 5,000 people to entertain to today... nerves lol. I love adrenalin but panics I hate.

Oh and after our last show yesterday I watched my japanese friends sitting on the beach looking out at the ocean without any fear. It was a wonderful sight.

Hi Ski,

watching those looking at the water gives you the answer you need to get off the pills...

when you have faith there is no fear...

without fear, there is no panic...

but drop back slowly...

The use of alprazolam at doses greater than 4 mg/day, often necessary to treat panic disorder, is accompanied by risks that you need to carefully consider. When used at high doses greater than 4 mg/day, which may or may not be required for your treatment, alprazolam has the potential to cause severe emotional and physical dependence in some patients and these patients may find it exceedingly difficult to terminate treatment. In two controlled trials of 6 to 8 weeks duration where the ability of patients to discontinue medication was measured, 7-29% of patients treated with alprazolam did not completely taper off therapy. In a controlled postmarketing discontinuation study of panic disorder patients, the patients treated with doses of alprazolam greater than 4 mg/day had more difficulty tapering to zero dose than patients treated with less than 4 mg/day. In all cases, it is important that your physician help you discontinue this medication in a careful and safe manner to avoid overly extended use of alprazolam.

In addition, the extended use at doses greater than 4 mg/day appears to increase the incidence and severity of withdrawal reactions when alprazolam is discontinued. These are generally minor but seizure can occur, especially if you reduce the dose too rapidly or discontinue the medication abruptly. Seizure can be life-threatening...

Well thank you Perth, that was a very nice break from it all. The little Fremantle festival was much bigger than I anticipated. Amongst the performers was a guy whom everyone calls Lucky Diamond Rich. He's the most tattoo'd man on this planet. With just one tattoo he proclaims. He's a very high earner on the street. He saps up the audiences and has them eating out of his hands. Really nice bloke and very powerful in his performance's. You can see what he looks like here..

Scary huh.. Doesn't mean he's the greatest entertainer but his power over the audience is incredible. Very awkward hanging out with this guy. Known him for 15 years.

I met a fellow Avalon member on the last day of the festival. Shikasta who was a really nice bloke and he watched our show and we chatted briefly and he met the people whom I work with. I so much wanted to chat more but we both had other things going on.

Before I left Perth, my friend whom I'd been trying to get to come over from Brisbane to work in Tokyo had arrived in Tokyo and we spoke on skype.. it was quite funny as I was in his country and he was in Tokyo and the tables had turned. I was now asking him the questions he was asking me before he'd decided to work in Tokyo. He's having a blast and really enjoying himself. We'll meet up tomorrow to work together throughout golden week in Japan.

The plane flying into Japan was empty. We had the whole backside of the plane to ourselves. The immigration for westerners was also empty.

Here is a link to a bunch of photo's from the festival and some bits and bobs from before working in Tokyo.

Here's hoping that May stays free from anymore disasters. At least let Japan try and enjoy it's Golden Week. The Japanese deserve a break. So for the next week I'll be working like mad to cheer up this nation and get some sort of normality back.

I'm glad to be back and I have noticed the aftershocks have eased off. The Indigo kids rumor has all but evaporated. Everyone was waiting for the 49th day to pass expecting Mt. Fuji to throw a wobbler. That was 2 days ago.

End of May it's Italy.

The panics have eased off as I'm so dam busy so my dosage is back to normal. Thanks for all the private PMs with advice and stuff. You're all a great bunch of people.
