1. fully accept you have a feminine side
2. personalize your feminine side (give her a name and create/visualize your inner woman)
3. start talking with her, ask her questions on how you can give her a bigger role in your life..
4. make love to her..(not sex, love) caress yourself as you would the woman you love..
5. be gentle with yourself..
6. Treasure your inner wisdom.. be like a grandmother.. only give advice to those who ask..
7. identify the various states of womanhood and their qualities like Girl, woman, mother, grandmothers, sister, spouse
8. find those qualities in your self and be attentive to them.. try to listen more, talk less..
9. intend that you are opening your feminine side...
10. Observe your male friends and try to identify any patterns within yourself that you may have copied from them.. (very important)

these steps definitely helped me..
good luck and bless you for asking...

Hi A New Hope Reborn,

is there really even a feminine side?

Isn't it all just about the balance within oneself?

For instance, men may be out of balance with their authentic self, because they've been programmed to act and react in particular ways.

These ways are programs given to them by the society they were raised in.

Just get rid of the expectations of what you should and shouldn't do on the grounds that you're a man - and just follow your conscious heart.

That's my take on it, anyway :)

If you are a man please focus on bringing up healthier male attitudes before assuming feminine ones. There's nothing wrong with getting in touch with your female side but understand that the new age teaches men to ASSUME female energies, not get in touch with them, as a way to replace not being fully aware of one's own divine masculinity. This is a very simple bait and switch tactic employed by the powers that be. Instead of undermining men with the patriarchal, men are undermined by the feminine.

This is an overlooked infiltration and direct distortion of spiritual concepts by the powers that be. And its an epidemic . And it typically just causes dis functional males. It causes more imbalance not less.

Female energies are to be implemented to tone done aggressively dominant male energies that have been perverted by patriarchal concepts. More often these practices just obliterate or supplant naturally occurring desired masculine traits, and/or men use them as an excuse for not fulfilling their primary role as a masculine presence.

Male energies are a powerful active force for change, and PTB would like nothing better than to divert them via new age precepts to a place where they don't really belong. A she-male is not a particularly spiritual entity and more a confused and disabled being than an empowered and enlightened one.

If you are a female I'd wonder why you are worrying about it at all. We come preinstalled with everything we need, male and female, and simply require a shift in perception to see what we are already possessed of and how to better utilize it.

If one truly wants to observe the male and female roles in divine interaction watch a wolf pack for several seasons. Wolves have naturally harmonious male-female conditions based on knowing exactly what their roles are as male and female wolves that have been demonstrated much longer than the New Age BS that has introduced these concepts. You will notice the male wolf is tempered by the female wolf without having to assume any of her traits. And vice versa.

This topic is one of the most volatile discussion issues in our societies. It is first order division which to some degree affects everyone. Hence it has be one of the most important weapons of the controllers. The idea of seperateness, of being 'other' than 'I'. Of God being out there or up there, seperation. The seperation fosters challenge and competition, jokes are made about it, and religions foster it based on the talmud. Only my HO but wasn't the 'seperation' perhaps the original genetic tweak that was perpetrated on us when previously we had been an androgyne. Do we contain the archetype of 'the other' in the inner landscape?

Wanting to contact your feminine aspect is good. I can understand that. My advice is to find something to nurture that is dependent on you.

I do have a question. Never in my life have I read or heard that it would be advisable to find my masculine aspect. Why is that?

The body is the female aspect, the earth is the female !
To get in re - connect with the female is to re-connect with the earth.

Both men and women needs to do this.

Most people are more male dominated even the females.

This is not about what gender one have !

Male and Female are archetypes. Metaphors for naturally occurring energies. If its naturally occuring it doesn't have to be taught or tapped into. If one has been artificially conditioned to DO something other than what occurs naturally either through patriachal influence or new age bs then its simply a matter of removing that which obstructs what occurs naturally.

Archetypes in a nutshell.

Male being provider, protector, and active force.

Female being nuturer, intuitive, and passive force.

An example of a woman getting in touch with her male side would be a woman who singularly (single woman) protects her family, provides for her family. These are actions of active force. She is keeps her natural female traits in tact. She doesn't become a man, she draws on that energy when an active male role is not present. It's pretty simple. I'm sure someone has to come along and make it very complicated but its not, you don't have to do anything unless a women is so disempowered (artificially conditioned) she can't. Once an unnatural patriarchal influence and conditioning is removed (and all the new age bs) a woman will feels quite confident using these energies and no touching or tapping in is necessary. It just occurs as needed. She doesn't become masculine she just draws on that aspect to BALANCE what is missing. It doesn't replace it though.

A single male parent will do the same thing. He's still a provider, protector but he assumes more intuition, more nurturing, relinquishes more active force so passive force can come forward.

Unfortunately all this new age bs and weird psychology teaches us that we have to DO something in order to affect these changes which usually results in weepy oversensitive men and bitchy aggressive females. The scales eventually tip until we have a negative female force, shrill, abrasive, and domineering. The masculine of active force, provider and protector becomes patriarchal and abusive.

A passive abuser is no better than an active one. A man who stops abusing women physically doesn't fare any better by simply imposing on them emotionally. Has anyone ever paused to think on what passive-aggressive REALLY means. Show me a man who is trying to tap into a female energy the wrong way and I'll show you passively aggressive if not outright disenfranchised from both energies.

A man who gets in touch with his female side may tone down certain overly dominant aspects that were agitated out of balance by the patriarchal influence we've experienced for several thousand years. And that's good.

More often they just skip over that process and assume female aspect and they are still out of balance. Conversely the female that was suppressed by the same patriarchal allows the full feminine to come forward. A man who imposes on the female energy without first allowing his masculinity to come forward can be counted by how many skin cells he's left under my fingernails. You become something that is less postively influential and more something a women needs to defend herself from. A woman will defend her feminine energy. Its unnatural so a woman intuitively holds them in contempt. These sorts of men are held in a passive contempt by empowered females, rather than the active contempt held for outright patriarchal male. Those sorts of men just cause more imbalance.

Conversely it works in reverse for women as well but understand I'm speaking from a female point of view. Those sorts of women think they are alpha females and they're really just bitches. An alpha female serves through her empowerment, a bitch is just self serving.

Basically an empowered female will hold a man who seeks the feminine in the wrong way in contempt because like the patriarchal before you, the man who seeks the feminine in the wrong way is imposing on something that does not belong to him. It's an artificial construct and a principal of the female energy is to tear down artificial constructs. IN a nutshell, a fake male. One isn't authentic. The intuitive female picks up on that pretty fast. This is why you hear so many women saying "Why can't he be a man" or "he thinks I'm his mother" . One some level they understand something is wrong it is our intuitive nature to know so.

If someone MUST have a method to what will occur naturally if artificial influence and conditioning is taken away, one simply seeks to balance their logic and emotional processes so one or the other isn't -but working in harmony. There is such a thing as logical intuition.

So take a sweat lodge. A practice that is thousands of years old and has only recently been imposed on by new age bs or ptb influence. A mixed lodge of male and females will have the men arranged along the wall of the lodge where it's hottest. They hold the 'warrior' space and the women sit nearer to the fire where the intuitive, 'the magick' is taking place. They are assuming natural positions. When women sweat alone they may hold whatever space, but they are not imposing or displacing. In a mixed lodge where men insist on assuming a seat near the fire because he can't or won't assume his male role because he wants to assume the female energy in the lodge, then the entire sweat lodge is thrown out of balance. This is akin to a man shoving his wife between him and his assailant and is not exactly the type of behavior that is looked on by a balanced male or female with favor. Both parties will hold you in contempt for imposing on something that isn't yours to impose on.

You could start by analysing/observing the female figures in your dreams. Some may always be there, some may be in the image of a female you know. Are there any groups of females in your dreams? What are they telling you? What are they doing? What is your reaction to them? Do some research into Jung and his archetypes and also perhaps there may be a book around for men written from an analytical approach from Jung in relation to male psychology, dream analysis and developing your anima.

Try this for a start http://www.innerexplorations.com/psytext/anima.htm

I do have a question. Never in my life have I read or heard that it would be advisable to find my masculine aspect. Why is that?

If you are even half self empowered there's no reason to find it. It's already there. Its possible its shadowed by artificially controlled or imposed conditions, thoughts, philosophies and core values but its still there. You just shed the artificial part of it and allow it to express itself naturally as the situation demands it. When we leave the female/ male part of it out and focus on SELF authenticity it just occurs on it's own.

You have a point. Its a diversionary trick to URGE men to find their female energies. Why would you have to learn something you already have. Because conditioning is gained via learning. Men used to be urged to find their patriarchal authority. Now the PTB are doing the same thing but making it sound 'positive'. Its really just the same thing.

That's why women aren't urged to find their masculine side. The way the PTB have always done it seems to work best.

A masculinely empowered female is ****ing dangerous thing....to everyone if its not held in a positive balance and its hard to keep raw power in balance if one has ever witnessed a forest fire. That is one cunning creature...male power, male logic, male warriorship, blended with intuition, and the ability to camouflage (passive energy) one self . That is one dangerous entity to the powers that be....but also to everything else because...power corrupts. Not sure the PTB want to take the risk of urging females to assume their masculine side. We fight dirty to begin with (grin) . This is why we don't hear about super psychic soldiers that are female as often as we do the ones that are men. They are too capricious (emotional) and that nurturing trait may pop up at any time which makes them rather fickle when sides are being drawn. A woman like that may fail to employ logic when the PTB would prefer them to and become so emotionally charged their conditioning is overridden and they turn on their handlers. Then again they could turn on anything....lol.

Heheh, quite funny, but in all seriousness, that’s something that I came to a revelation about when I was still a very young girl.

In order to really be a woman, you have to bleed for it – literally and figuratively. It takes sacrifice, responsibility, and fortitude, and I am NOT talking about the BS, egocentric, “look at me and everything that I’m going through for others, give me a pat on the back,” kind of crap. That is pure pride and “glory of me” talking.

I mean real self-sacrifice: going out of your way to keep your promises, inconveniencing yourself and doing it the hard way when you know that it’s the right way and the right thing to do. Being there and being the softer-place-to-land and unshakable support that your loved ones fall back on when they carry the weight of the world on themselves, not abandoning them in tough times, even if it means you’ll be dragged through hell and back for it when you could have an easier life for yourself if you left them high and dry.

It is real hurt, it is real pain, and it is real hard times. It’s the tears that you never let fall or never let anyone see, and your heart and soul – not just your body – bleeds for all around you every now and again. No on sees it, but no one needs to see it. Because in the long and short of it, it’s worth it, and it’s what really tests and makes a woman, when she could easily choose to be a “little girl” all her life – be like a child, fall back on somebody else, and let them be the woman. ;)

That being said, I know of a few "little girls" who are in their 30's who could stand to get in touch with their inner woman, 'tis not just a thing for men, methinks. ;)

This is way too complicated for me and if it's complicated for me ~ you are confusing even Mother Earth ~ it's simple really just cherish one thing; it can be a flower, a tree, a dog, a cat, a child, a parent, a lover, your lawn, your lawn mover, a walk in a park, a bike ride, a sunset, you can pick it but you must love it passionately for at least ten minutes. You must take deep breaths and inhale deeply and give thanks for it. When we can accomplish this at least once a day, it will make Mother so very proud of us. And I know you can do it, too ; ) xoxox

Oh look a man in need of correction. Oh gee ....THAT hardly every happens

Women don't whine.

Women bitch.

Men whine.

I'm not sure where you're from but here in the US women clog up the sink with shoes and handbags. We keep our cosmetics and hair products in the gun cabinet.

It's what we ...hunt...with (evil laff).

We don't tell our partners that we need a new kitchen. What the hell would we need a kitchen for, we're always on a diet? Besides it works better if we just go out and buy the kitchen and then make the partner install it when its too late to return it. Which they inevitably will do if they want food and a place to store their beer.

We don't need ANOTHER holiday. We're still waiting for the first one.

We don't gossip about everyone, just your side of the family.

Jeez! Twinnick, have you ever been shopping with a group of lads? Most of my childhood friends are lads and we used to go on a monthly shopping trip, they were by far worse than me or any women! They even tried haggling in a shop - they'd tried at least 10 pairs of jeans on then not buy anything! Shopping with women can be more fun, especially if you stop for a glass of red in between shops...

so many good points and so many will work. Just be mindful (I realize that's a gross generalization but everyone's done so well giving advice) the female aspect is basically right behind you at all times. Lol, whether its ever noticed or directly found...that's the choice of said host. My thoughts are meditation plus focusing on your own personal sense of the female (as each of you have a slightly different take) side/part/piece of yourself (may take a try or two). Then after you have a grasp on it try and experience it. Lol, and that bit off fun, I leave to whomever is trying it. Have fun balance seekers, and take care, everyone.

Crikey,

just joking people, don't take it to heart.

I grew up with lots of females in my family.... and they all had a sense of humor.

If I showed my "feminine" side when I was a kid my sister would pay me out for being a girl or if I hurt myself my mum would say oooorrrrr didums...did you cut your self or what ever!

9eagle9.....if your make up is kept in the gun safe,..............where the hell are the guns kept ! (LOL) oh by the way ..look above my avatar you will see where I come from............yes thats the AUSSIE flag...and it says South Australia.

Your right. (holsters weapons and retracts claws)

The hormones alone suffice as weapons of mass destruction.

If men had periods they would be bragging about them and showing it off, who bled the most would turn into a competition!

hahaha.. that was funny! on a more serious note.. men do have "periods" or a "cycle".. true, we don't bleed but we do have a "sexual" cycle.. every 4 to 5 weeks men go in to a heightened state of fertility.. we feel more attracted to women in these phases... just observe.. every once in a while our testosteron is higher than normal.. we become erm... Horny. especially when a man is not aware of these cycles it can be quite "unbalancing" most men give in to this and want more sex in these times... some of us even need to masturbate so we can release some of this hightened sexual energy and think "normal" again..
i advise all men reading this to keep a log for about 5 weeks and record the days you were more focused on women and sex than usual...
be honest with yourself... we are not only spiritual and biological beings, we are also sexual beings...
about the masturbation.. it is possible to transform lower sexual energies to higher creative ones without any physical stimulation or release... there are tantric and meditative techniques to help you do this...
men should also realise that when they haven't been with a woman for a long time and had no other sexual expressions in the meantime, that it is very possible some "negative" chi-energy has built up down below.. be sure to transform or release this energie before entering the sacred yoni of a female partner... don't dump your lust in to her... give her your love instead..
namaste!

Hey Jendayi, men do, indeed, have "periods". I remember ages ago watching a male friend of mine eat 3 chocolate bars on the trot and then he got really snappy with me and I said, what's up with you today? And he almost shouted, I'm having my PERIOD!!!! Grrrr. Some men do notice this natural cycle but probably not many. I don't take synthetic contraception anymore and my menstruation occurs exactly with a full moon. Awwwooooo. I don't it is really bad for women to take hormonal contraception because it can easily result in Oestrogen dominance causing hot flushes, anxiety, low sex drive, muscle weakness, tingling and numbness, mental confusion etc etc. I think it's a good idea for men and women to become aware of their natural cycle and moods. I do think most (not all) PMS symptoms are iatrogenic in nature coming from the pill.

Hi Jendayi,

I'd be interested in your thoughts/experiences about getting in touch, embracing and nurturing one's male side. I've overdone meditation in recent years and have a hard time focusing, setting goals and even getting myself past of relationship traumas I've suffered during this perion (which is one reason I've actually denied my male AND somewhat my female aspect as well).

Thank you for any shared insights.

When it comes to the Soul, gender is inconsequential.

It can be, but not when attempting to bring balance to that soul.
The feminine/masculine deal is just a way they classify certain attributes.
Those attributes need balance.
