Sometimes when ive responded to 'controversial' threads, it naturally attracts the wolves, and whilst it shouldn't/doesn't bother me so much i have found it has also attracted like minded souls who turn dismay into delight :) I guess i'm simply making the point that there are different personalities out there (in here) and not to shy away from expressing your point of view. Don't be bullied into silence when you feel something is instinctively wrong or in the mode of darkness and ignorance. Be light, spread light. God bless :)

Voila!.............
Edited further thought, Hitler could have used that thought too, so my point is slightly different.. with respect :)
Thus, the key is kindness, goodness, purity etc etc

That is sooo true. Kind words make bright hearts. Kind words, kind actions. This is even scientifically proven. When you smile at someone, their muscles sustaining smile have tiny movements towards smile. Same for frowning. An emotion observed in someone else will light my own brain cells related to the same emotion: which means that we do have real impact on others just with the way we look at them.
I bet that we have impact just in the way we thinki of them, although not proven yet.
Therefore, I will always try to find at least one thing I like in anyone I come in contact with. This makes me be positive, and helps me while inciting positive gesture/faces in others in micro muscle movements,, and therefore creating positive feelings in others.

Thanks Flash..........there is always a kind way forward, a positive path :) What use is negativity and darkness? (rhetorical question!)
ps, a neuro scientist was on coast last night, proving ( as you said ) the positive effects of religion/spirituality. Or if you can't quite accept anything Godlike, the power of positive thought.

My granny used to say, "find just one good thing about the most abhorent person and you'll find God". I try and do that and compliment them if appropriate.
I always speak and joke with the cafe cashier at work. Today she thanked me for being so nice. So, we both felt good. The simplest things............

i always wake up with the motto: today is a new day and no mistakes have been made........then i try my best to smile at everyone i meet, and say a nice word or two. i work in the retail sector, so imagine how difficult this can be...... i have had many close calls with a few customers.... but, kindness always prevails.
warmest regards, corson

What you are doing is called paying your way forward by some.
Do you know of the rule of three?
And the law of attraction?
You are sowing some mighty fine seeds.

As we rush to remember all that we do that is good and kind ~ let us also remember that we are inherently good and wise and loving. The old lies and matrix of deceits made sure that we would not be able to remember this about ourselves and even to expect the worse in ourselves. Yet there is no greater truth. We are loving children of a loving creator and we always seek to help, to assist, to love, one another. It's our nature although many will want to argue this point too death and have done so. Somehow through our long and difficult experiences in these lifetimes we've lived ~ we forgot our Divinity. This is the most precious gift you can give yourself and then others, to know without a doubt that you are good and pure, and even love itself. Assign yourself this message and fall asleep with it in your mind and when you awake ~ you will know it's true. xoxox
