John's thought: OIL AGAIN
Maybe not ... they like us to believe that that's their motivation.
The main relation I see is that they need a reason/excuse to get the price up to US$ 200 per barrel.
Somehow France seems to be the main driver of this project. Sarkozy wants very badly that Khadaffi is removed.

Odyssey: (as in 'Operation Odyssey Dawn') The younger of the two surviving ancient Greek epic poems, traditionally ascribed to Homer but containing much orally transmitted material composed over several centuries, and concerning the adventures and ordeals of the Greek warrior Odysseus after the fall of Troy as he struggles to return home and reestablish himself as king of Ithaca.
Or.... in 'Maxwell-ian' interpretation: The the long awaited 'New Dawn'.
This is all a new threshold - through which we are all being forced, folks....

As with all of the tiresome wars we have had to endure, here is another one that was never declared by Congress, that is not supported by the majority of American people except through deceptive means, and that does not serve the common good of humanity, but does definitely serve the secret agenda of a deviant and criminally irresponsible cabal of organized sociopaths.
As Ronald Reagan would say, "There you go again." And he was their puppet, too.

Kucinich: War is a swamp, Obama Libya action unconstitutional
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjJWsbAcG_I
Amid the ongoing coalitional bombardment of Libya it turns out President Obama may have had no constitutional authority for ordering US military involvement. US Rep. from Ohio Dennis Kucinixh says the use of US armed forces is unconstitutional, explaining Obama had no authority to commit US resources without congressional approval. The US now finds itself involved into another war in addition to Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan. 'Bombing villages in order to save villages' -- that didn't work in Vietnam, Kucinich explained. In fact, he argued this time around the Libyan intervention could end up strengthening US enemies.

These weapons are likely around a $million$ a pop. It's ok though, we can increase the debt ceiling to infinity.

Thanks again UN....Thats another fine mess you've got us into.
Bombing the hell out of Libya will get us into exactly the same situation as Iraq.
Weapons of mass deception all over again.
Acts of Terrorism committed to 'free' the people of Libya in the name of democracy. Appauling.
Who's next on the attack list? Lets see- Another country with lots of Oil reserves perhaps?

Late in January Henry Kissinger said, while speaking about the uprising in Egypt, that it was just the first step in a bigger plan for the Mideast. I expect oil is just one aspect of the overall plan.
I believe, now we are seeing so many mideastern countries in turmoil, that they are consolidating their power in the area.

I watched US Rep Dennis Kucinixh on cSpan last week trying to get the congress to vote to remove troops in Afghanistan. He was so moving and provided a great argument. The vote went for continuing war. Please forgive Americans who do not support the war. We are trapped here.

I would agree with you, if they were militarily occupying them all.
But they use each nation to occupy itself, with a few exceptions, such as the axis nations of the 40s.

That is a soul handshake. :amen:
BTW. Ghadaffi looks fairly low on his "Jing" energy. He needs to cut out the bosomy blondes.
