I recall reading some time ago a prediction by a psychic or channeler (I can't remember who!:( that struck me at the time as having a very authentic ring.

The prediction was for a coming earthquake and consequent nuclear disaster akin to Chernobyl which would act as a huge wake up call for sleeping humanity to the consequences of the present course of reckless polluting and other misuse of the planet.

I cannot recall if it gave specifics as to location, etc, but I am wondering if anyone else took note of such a prediction and if so, if they remember the source.

At the time, it was certainly not at all what I was hoping for, which was, instead, some kind of major ET Contact which would wake up enough of the world up to the possibilities of working with advanced races to cleanse the planet and access to technology that would end the era of fossil fuel, nuclear addiction, etc. Perhaps the world wasn't ready for that, so I am just focusing on the hope now that the disaster in Japan will, as predicted, have a similar positive and motivating effect as undeniable ET Contact might have.

I am sending much gratitude and many prayers for the Japanese people whose sacrifice, if this is what it is, MUST not be in vain.
How we think of the disaster is a personal choice, of course, but the prediction, as I recall, painted it as a sacrifice for the greater good of the planet, which I find much easier to accept than a wholly senseless tragedy, though I abhor the possible necessity of such a sacrifice.

It's been driving me a little bit nuts that I can't remember the source of that prediction, so it would be much appreciated if someone can fill in the blanks!
Thanks!

This might ring a bell, I was checking him out last night. Wasn't that impressed. Maybe he's really good, I don't know.

Yes he got that one right. Remote viewing.

He reckons he can teach you how to do the same... for a hefty price of course.

From "That was massive..." thread:

Japan Earthquake And nuke plant Chaos Was Predicted by Remote Viewers

Several years ago, Major Ed Dames announced on Japanese TV and US radio (Coast to Coast AM) that a massive earthquake would strike Japan and a nuclear reactor would "break", causing what he described to host, Art Bell, as a "mini Chernobyl" or that it would be at least the worse nuclear disaster since then. This video provides some several clips from the venues in which this RV prediction was revealed. Major Dames' heart goes out to the Japanese people and it is truly unfortunate that this prediction has come to pass.

Thanks!
Major Dames was onto something apparently, though he got the year wrong.
This wasn't the prediction I recall though. The one I saw was more recent, no more than a year old, I think, and was written as a sort of channeled or psychic message, not a remote viewing. The implication was that the event would be the cause of a huge change in consciousness for the better, though I don't know if that aspect was anything that Dames went into with his prediction.

i HOPE YOU ARE SAFE AND WELL.

Our psychic intentions can be used together right now to clean the planet, minimize further "eruptions" and "rumblings", and lead the collective of minds towards the world we envision.
peace to you and yours

Thanks Thunder. I hope you are safe and well too. According to Dames (and others) the next "big one" will be on the New Madrid; if that's true, it's possible we will actually be feeling that one!
