View Full Version : Radiation, nutrient protection, and thinking about leaving the northern hemisphere

There is cause to think that the northern hemisphere will be polluted with radiation from Japan. Here is David Wolfe explaining the possible meltdown and what one can do to protect oneself with nutrients.

http://www.thebestdayever.com/news/podcast/podcast-64-everything-you-need-to-know-about-radiation/

and how much cleaner the southern hemisphere might be. I'm thinking of going there immediately.

The polluted air of the northern hemisphere and the clearer air of the southern hemisphere tend not to mix. A mobile cloudy belt known as the Intertropical Convergence Zone that runs around the globe roughly at the level of the equator is thought to form a meteorological barrier between the two.

I would leave too, if I could. How's New Zealand?

Thanks for that! David Wolfe is a top of the line health guru, specializing in live and sprouted foods, superfoods, etc.. His recommendation for Dr. Patrick Flanagan's scientific expertise and products is well founded.

may i suggest not going to NZ.

If you're looking for a new home down here - I'd suggest Australia.

Its smack bang dead centre on a tectonic plate. If you feel an earthquake in Queensland - the whole world is screwd :P

Just dont get a waterfront home, or one that's in flood prone areas (All the areas that were hit with floods in QLD are known to be flooded. people jsut wont move)

Give us from dawn to dark
Blue of Australian skies,
Let there be not a mark
Whither the chemtrails lie.

(with apologies to James Lister Cuthbertson, The Bush)

Welcome.

Too bad that it is almost impossible just to move to Australia. We have had the idea for years now! But imigration is a pain! And very expensive.

Altough i really really like Oz,
and the idea of "survival" (well,... who survives, and what)
if i could (choose),
I'd rather go to Kea-Land instead.
[reason obvious]

Question for you all:

i went to the health food store to get kelp powder and iodine (not to be found) and the owner told me to be careful with iodine. Filling the thyroid with it will activate it at first when not fully full yet and then it will slow it down substantially. I told about existing cysts on the thyroids with abnormal cells and he told me he would be very careful not to provoke these cells into reproducing with added idodine, it may get me the cancer before any radiation.

What are your comments on this, the experts on this forum?

I will be using kelp anyhow for sure but what about iodine?

Hello Avalonians,

I must reiterate.... if you have the means to get out of the northern hemisphere I suggest you do so.

to quote my original post

http://www.newscientist.com/article/...clean-air.html

WHY would anyone want to stay and become contaminated if they could leave for cleaner pastures?????????

The sense of powerlessness, apathy and just making do could actually be a slow suicide. I for one can't stay up here in the northern hemisphere because every time I EAT food
from here, I will be wondering if it is contaminated. I dont want to live like that.

Ecuador takes 15k investment to move there.
Paraguay is 5k
Tonga is 5-25K
Fiji is 50k.
or just go and rent. What is more important, your stuff, or your life?

WE are throwing a lot of stuff out :-)

I will be using kelp anyhow for sure but what about iodine? I would have to say he's ignorant of the facts, perhaps just stupid. Anyway, he's wrong. Iodine is critical to a properly functioning thyroid gland. Detox your body of aluminum and fluoride, so that the iodine isn't supplanted by them. Avoid breads with bromide (halogen family like fluoride) as they replace iodine too. All women with breast cancer are deficient in iodine. Take it daily, yes.

New Zealand is an excellent spot to hide out when the **** hits the fan! That's why I moved here! Yes it's on a tectonic plate of massive proportion, and we've had issues lately also, but, the natural resources here are vast and un touched in the large. Australia is also a more than valid suggestion for a niche during hard times (to come?)

I wouldn't get too worried until the Bushes move to the southern hemisphere. Have they left yet?

Hello Avalonians,

Itʻs not always about money; many countries have tough immigration laws.

Isnʻt Paraguay where the Bushes bought up vast quantities of land including villages and farms - just on top of an aquifer? What about Uruguay? Itʻs not one Iʻve researched much. Lots of expatriates in Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. Ecuador seems to be a popular place too.
