View Full Version : Is this a good time to be alive on Earth?

Here at Avalon we talk of probabilities and possibilities. We exchange our truths and our hopes. But our daily lives continue with disappointments and struggles amid brief glimpses of better times.
Do you feel in your heart of hearts that this is a good time to be present on earth? Do you feel in control of your well-being? Do you truly expect your life to increase in the bounty of what you need and want? And what of your children's lives?
I don't mean for this to be a downer thread. I'm just curious how we Avalonians are dealing with the daily issues that seem so difficult. How are we coping?

Today the availability of different types of food is better than the kings had in the 14th century. Information is available everywhere at anytime and all you have to do is pick your direction . The word freedom is becoming increasingly more prominent around the world as we all are becoming one. Is there tough times ahead to clear the air for all of us to succeed, yes! Is it up to us to help in that change , yes. Did we all choose to be here during this time? yes. And we will prevail for the stewarts that we are! Absolutely........... Think positive and you will acheive your own message. Believe it, think it, do it.

Is this a good time to be alive on Earth? NO!
Its a FANTABULASTIC time to be alive on Earth!! :whoo:
I dont know where I read it, but somewhere on my perusings through Avalon, I read that we should treat negative people around us as we would accept nature. That really stuck with me, then this morning at a meeting with all my work colleagues (about 30 or so) I looked around the room and thought, that pushy guy over there is MY pushy side manifesting, that timid girl over there is MY timid side manifesting and so on... they are all traits of my personality and I a trait of thiers. It might be utter crap philosophy to some, but I had a sudden realisation and the rest of the day sailed by, as I encountered other manifestations of myself and thought ok so I also act like that at times, better watch out for that. I think I'm gonna enjoy the next few days looking at how I manifest "myself" on a daily basis.
OK I've had an AHA! moment and I'm buzzing, LIFE ROX!!! :peace:

It is important for all of us to recognize that we chose to be here and the challenges of these times are trials for all of us, but WE are strong enough to deal with it if we realize the power we both have as individuals and as groups with vision. The ideals of possessions and attainments of status is not what I am talking about however and in spiote of wishing that things could be better for ouir children etc we need to shift to be the change we all have been waiting for. This is why I stay with this forum! Thanks to all of you for what you do!

No better time than the present…
Besides, people are becoming more aware these days, so that is definitely a good thing. Once we figure out what we want collectively…it will get even better. Just keep your mind on the things you want. Don’t think about the things you don’t want…and minimize the thoughts of despair. We are in the time of co-creation, so we all must be thinking beautiful thoughts. All the doom and gloom is tricks to get us all thinking and manifesting negativity. If we stay in these thoughts we doom ourselves. We are the second coming/ the sleeping giant/ the creators of heaven and hell. We will make what we put our emotions in to. This is our moment, our shining glory, its crunch time. Paradise awaits but we all must be on the same page, or in the least reading the same book.

I do now. I've always known that I am here and now for a particular purpose, and recently I had a glimpse of what that purpose is. And it's profound. It is also exhilarating, liberating, empowering. In fact, tremendously empowering. Not only is this a good time to be present on earth, we absolutely deserve to be here and watch the truth unfold. The truth is so beautiful, mere words cannot describe it.

Yes of course I love to leave and contribute in every way possible to the well-being of this world, especially for my 2 kids. And I just participated in developing my reason for living. What's great about this concept of reason for living is that everything you do in this direction gives you personal happiness because that is what you carry. It is our duty to make them grow and to benefit the world. Imagine the beauty of this world if everyone decided to grow.

This is a great time to be alive here. There have been challenges in every age and there always will be more challenges. It is important for each of us to live our daily reality the best way we can. If you have a project or a plan, take a step towards that goal each day. No one is going to do it for you. You are your own savior. Eg, you want to put in a vegetable garden, talking about it will not get it done, you have to do the work. We are all growing, but our growth is proportional to the effort we put in.

Absolutely. Now that I am awake, I have learned to live a far more simple life, as Eckhart Tolle says "You must live in the now". Yes, I can see a lot of negativity in the world, but I don't give it my attention, which I used to do in the past.
After wasting many years of my life getting an education, I am now enjoying re-educating myself, with much help from this fantastic Avalon forum :grouphug: in how this world actually works........whilst also trying to work out how we can sort out the mess we've got it into!
I also now realise that this fantastic sphere that we are whizzing through space on is actually alive!!!!!!
It doesn't get much better than this :whoo:

I think life is about making order out of chaos, so now is a good time to be alive, because things are more extreme. Over 100 years ago, the value of the dollar really didn't change from cradle to grave, and people knew what to expect in their golden years. We had minimal international conflicts, etc. Things were comfortable, but boring. When you live in ages of disaster, you learn a lot in a relatively short amount of time. I am all for jamming econo. My hair started turning grey at 32, and I can't wait until it's totally white.

Charles Dickens put it perfectly in "The Tale of Two cities"
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way "
I think that we chose to be here at this time, and our challenge is to remember why and to do what we came here to do!

I don't really look at life and it's occasional pitfalls in terms of coping. I don't like to harbor a victim mentality, is that typically follows with complacency, and a distorted usage of natural foresight. To me it's just part of the experience of expanding as a dynamic being. That wouldn't happen if everything were always comfy and warm.
A little personal observation: As a species we tend to be at our best when faced with a level of adversity. It's only when we get too comfortable and lazy, that our less than desirable aspects present themselves. Modern times seem to reflect this exponentially.

I suppose it is because it's time to think of alternatives to this unsustainable reality.
We keep on going on if nothing is happening but I think people really need to think about what kind of future they are leaving to their children, instead of popping them out willy-nilly. I don't understand that kind of behavior as there are already over 6 billion people in the world.

Yes this is an amazing time in our past history ! This is the age of learning Spiritual Power, a call to balance an un balanced energy construct. We are in the epicentre of life and living in the face of an amazing wave.
The beauty of life is it reminds us to appreciate the every day gifts of the Mother Earth and how she carries us without complaint and feeds us. She is now calling for us to be care taker and give some love back to her. She looks into our eyes daily in hope that we may remember. There is no sun without rain, no light without dark .. the pain brings joy and life ebbs and flows up and down to remind us that to suffer is to appreciate when the dawn brings us the new day.
Smile that you are alive and with a tummy full of food with clothes on your back and a roof over your head. :)

The solution begins with understanding the problem.
Understanding the problem impresses that people/sheeple are being conditioned by the bankster empire to dissociate from virtue ... and to associate with the agenda of vice (in advance of designed chaos). Organized criminals only know one game to play: booze, broads, and big bucks. The keys to Sodom and Gomorrah have been duplicated a million times over and handed out to every Peeping Tom with a Harry Dick. The command "Go forth and multiply!" ... becomes easier to follow when you have Big Pharma pushing Cialis and Viagra adverts on prime time TV; casino poker on prime time sports channels invoking the ambience of Sin City Vegas; female magnets in lace and silk garments peddling beers, bosoms and punctuating smiles; not to mention the ubiquity of sexTubes constructed for the task of pulling woodies from the pants of disoriented males, soon after squeezing and drawing pails of sperm-on-the-tail.
Question begs, who is really to blame for the current levels of population growth and the looming management problems ... the conditioners? Or the conditioned?

what is good ? what is time ? what is a good time ? what is to be ? What is to be alive ? what is....
...Sometimes langage can be really frustating and concepts also...
Could I have such thoughts if I had to get up to look for food ? I don't think so. I'm not even sure I could compare. But paradoxicaly the answer would be the same, meaning all and nothing at the same time.
I feel the chance I have to feel, breath, laugh, cry, ... and I can feel you too, and embrace that particular moment of connection. No words could describe how XXXX it was. We could try to... but it will be already gone.
Shall we try to find the right word ? or shall we go on with our beating heart ?
your question has no answer... cause it's an answered question.
(by the way I dare you to find a member telling you it's a good/bad time to be dead on earth, and I'm quite open minded)
... I'm sending you all a sincere smile... that would be my best answer after the question marks...

Both?
I don't personally believe in population control but I do believe in responsible procreation. I wonder if for some people, there's an imaginary "contest" with their friends to see who can squeeze out the most kids.

It surely is an interesting time to be on Earth now, and things are going to get very interesting in the comming 20 years.
There are some really fascinating scientific breakthroughs on many technological fronts that will transform our childrens lives,
I sincerely belive that science will be the saviour of the human race, for there are future natural changes that the Earth will go through again that without the advancement of science man will be doomed to the stone age again.
Here,s just one of the many new breakthroughs that will help us to get through the comming energy crisis.

Today there are many posotives, but also many negatives. I do not need to list them, but today is always the best day to live. In 100 years, people will look back at us and wonder how we did it, the way we look back at people in the early 1900's, the way they viewed people in the early 1800's. Today is the best day to live, take advantage of what's infront of you and be the best person you can be.

When you think with your soul and not your mind then there is no better time to be alive. If you are thinking of how bountiful you, your children or grandchildren have it or don't have it then you are letting ego get in the way. When you think with your heart and then with your soul you realize we have more abundance of enlightenment, spiritual growth then mankind has ever had. We have always had a few people ahead of the curve on these issues but as a global society we have never had it better. Each day should bring us a little closer to what we are here for, each day we move a small increment towards ascension! Each day, no matter how much our ego gets bruised and beat up we need to realize it is all for a reason. Each wonderful event or devastating blow moves us closer to where are soul is heading!

Both? Sure. But where is the center of mass in the system? For example, the center of mass of the Earth-Moon system resides much closer to the Earth. IMHO, the evidence clearly shows the majority of "blame" mass to be of the conditioner variety (as opposed to the conditioned). The manipulation is thick ... when it is this thick, we could do much worse than place our focus exclusively on the manipulators, IMO.

I for one, would much prefer death by feathering than death by a bloody big rock landing on me :)
I also think it's moreso the Conditioner's fault this world is the way it is. Them for setting everything out, the systems, how things work etc. If everyone wasnt so keen on taking any shortcut possible so they could get money in their pockets quicker.... things would be slightly better.
It's also the conditioned's fault for not doing anythign about it. But that's kinda ironic.... Expecting people that have been conditioned to do one thing, to do the oposite... no?

yes, it's a good time to be, as usual, it all depends on our perspective, understanding and faith in both. We can, we will, if we do, if we are. Are you, or are you not at the perfect place and time? Whether we think we can or think we can't, either way we're right. N

Out of all the times to be born on Earth, I would choose the time I was born. At 52 I've had a fairly full life, living at the peak of a civilization. Now we might be entering one of the most important times in Earth history with the final outcome unknown. No matter how difficult it may become, this is an exciting time.

Yes I think this is a great time to be alive, exactly what is going to take place during and after the changes happening at the moment I really don't know.
It is constantly challenging yet I do feel in control of my life and look forward with excitement to a future full of possibilities, a future I believe beyond the bounds of imagination.
The more I learn the more the lessons just keep coming and coming.. and the more and more exciting life becomes.
It is a blast!

Dear Heartsong,
I'm from a small city south west of Iran, under my feet there's an ocean of oil yet my city is kept very poor with very low standards of a normal life. I guess that's what Tehran's regime deems necessary.
but I know in my heart this life can't get any freaking better and I won't give up a moment of it:)

To be at the edge of one age and the beginning of another is always an unnerving experience, most always because there is that gap - that void - that abyss of the unknown inbetween.
To be standing on the edge of the abyss can be heart-stopping. We can see the other side; a land of hopes and dreams and possibilities that seem far too good to be true. But the gaping void lying before us and has a tendency to overwhelm the senses. Behind us the old world and way of doing things is crumbling away, and we can't see our way clear in gettin from here - to there - without falling.
The fear of what lies at the bottom (if there is a bottom) can be overwhelming and cause us to cling to the precipice; the good, solid known of the precipice (no matter how much it's caused our fingers to bleed) with all the strength we can muster. Dig in our fingers and toes; the rock at least is real; dependable. Granted it may be crumbling around us, but it's served us so far.The wind that is continually threatening to kock us over the edge can be viewed as an underhanded attempt by unseen forces and powers to make us loose our grip on reality and give us over to the darkness.
And in the back of your head you know - without a shadow of a doubt - that sooner or later either the wind is going to have its way and you're going to loose your grip on the wall, or the stone is going to crumble out from under your fingers. And nothing is ever going to be the same again.
Or of course you can just step out - and trust that since the abyss is here - it is something that is supposed to be. That the universe has brought us to this point for a reason, and perhaps in stepping out we'll fall, or who knows, maybe we'll find out that we know how to fly :)
