Ive just met a woman who had a highflying job in london and was very comfortable until last year . Quite suddenly she would get all sorts of symptoms from electical apliances etc . Computers bring her out in a rash , telecom towers would cause serious pain etc . She has been diagnosed with “Idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (formerly 'electromagnetic hypersensitivity') which isnt even acknoledged here in the uk . Its got that bad that she has had to move out here to the peak district because of its low radiation and spent most of last year in a tent to stay away from emf .
Ive never heard of this before and there doesnt seem to be any help available for her . The only thing i could think of to help was orgonite and have given her a pyramid to try . Has anyone got any idea's on what could help ?
Cheers
John
I've got this too from too much time at the computer. There is all kinds of information out on the web. Detoxification and certain supplements can help. Some say they have cured themselves, but for most it is a matter of avoidance or shielding.
These people are very helpful.

Description
Throughout the world, with the proliferation of cell phones and their towers and other devices emitting electromagnetic radiation (EMR), we are seeing dramatic increases in a number of illnesses (chronic fatigue syndrome, autism, ADD, mental illnesses, suicides, bizarre crimes, cancers, brain tumors, leukemias - not to mention electrosensitivity [ES]).
Some people realize it is the electromagnetic (EM) and microwave (MW) radiation making them sick and have taken refuge in the few areas left that are free of microwave radiation. These are the EMF Refugees. In Sweden, an EMF-free community called Frivolten http://www.frivolten.nu is being set up. There is also now a refuge in Drone, France.
Unfortunately, many people have a difficult time believing that EMR can cause so much damage - and even when confronted with the facts still choose to live in a state of denial. Yet, nothing deepens knowledge more than experience and for the people who have been able to realize what is making them sick and can actually FEEL the microwaves being emitted by cell phones and their towers, there can be no denying this fact.
This ML has been created with the intent of bringing refugees together in countries around the world to form their own EMF-free communities in natural environments where they can heal and create healing environments for the Earth and others.
It is only by coming and working together that we will be empowered to create positive change and healing for ourselves and others and counteract the negative effects caused by the proliferation of microwave technology.
By creating our own EMR-free (or -less) communities, we can draw attention to our plight and influence politics positively for an EMR-Safe Planet.
Life on this planet is being threatened by this technology. There is ample evidence to suggest that this EMR is responsible for a number of illnesses, psychological problems, and environmental problems including the disappearance of birds, amphibians, and insects.

Do you feel ill when you're near computers, cell phones, fluorescent lights, or wireless internet? If so, you may have "electrical sensitivity". Common symptoms include headaches, nausea, exhaustion, dizziness, burning skin, inability to concentrate, agitation, and anxiety. Someday the medical field will fully recognize this problem, meanwhile people experience symptoms ranging from annoying to debilitating. It is also something that can be overcome, as people have reduced or eliminated their sensitivities through a variety of means. This group is for people with electric sensitivities to discuss what works for them -- and what doesn't!
New members wishing to read past discussions might want to consider using the software "PG Offline" (do a Google search for it), as you can download every message ever posted here in less than a day, and then you can more efficiently browse/search through the archives than you can via Yahoo's web interface.
Note that this is NOT a group for informational/activist posts about the dangers of Electromagnetic Fields (EMF). There are several other forums for this purpose. This is just a group for people with hypersensitivities who want to reduce/eliminate them.
This condition is also known as Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS), Electric Sensitivity, Electrical Hypersensitivity, Electro-Hypersensitivity, Electrosensitivity, Electrical Oversensitivity, EMF Sensitivity, Electromagnetic Sensitivity, Electrosupersensitivity, Screen Dermatitis, Video Operator Distress Syndrome (VODS), Radio Wave Sickness, and Microwave Sickness.

Thanks for the info Karen . Ive just been given this advice on another forum :
' When someone is suffering from electrostress/smog, alot of poisoning of the body has already occured
. The accumulation of toxins (and heavy metals that act as antannea for the harmfull EMF radiation)
have reached a point where any more toxicity of the body leads to acute very uncomfortable symptons.
Even relativley weak EMF radiation cause the calcium-ion channels in the membranes of body cells to
tighten up. So when someone with lots of toxins is exposed to high doses of EMF radiation over a long
period of time, the buildup of toxins in the body cells reach a critical limit and start getting
damaged by the clogged up poisons.
Orgonite and similar devices might help up to a certain degree, but you might need lots and lots of
expensive stuff (most of which you don't know how effective it is or if it even works at all) to
even alleviate the slighest symptons. The only true solution in my opinion lies in detoxing the body,
and with it probably a drastic life-style change. Think about colon cleanses (first place to start),
kidney flushes, liver/gallbladder flushes. Good stretching like yoga and cardio exercise
(sweaty stuff, so sauna's sweat lodges work well too) and meditation too can build alot of strength
in the body. And while detoxing you obviously don't want to stuff yourself with overprocessed toxic
unhealthy junk that caused the problems in the first place. Eat organic, homegrown whatever you can
and detox in an EMF free place. Actually before anything read up on the subject matter, seek and
ye shall find, google is your friend '
I think maybe a fast and detox has got to be a good start .
Cheers

Interesting point that all the heavy metals are adding to the problem, but now that you bring it up, that's probably why heavy metals were added to the chemtrail evil brew. Evidently breathing in all that barium oxide and aluminum oxide they've been putting in the chemtrails is BECAUSE they want us walking around like human repeater antennas is the very core of the problem. I did a one month detox using food grade Bentonite (you can order it through Vitacost.com for about $11 a bottle) to take out heavy metals, and take it a few times a month to refresh my system. There are a number of other natural herbs that allegedly work well to naturally absorb and carry out heavy metals, as well, such as cilantro and oregano.

To detox from heavy metals you have to be careful because if you take herbs etc which 'pull' toxins out of the cells you make take something which will bind to them and make elimination possible. Otherwise retoxification will take place and the heavy metals etc will just settle somewhere else in your body -probably causing more health problems. This detoxification process can be achieved by taking chlorella (will bind to the toxins) an hr before taking coriander leaves (also called Chinese parsley or cilantro) which will 'pull' toxins out of the cells

There is a very good article on cellphone, what the cellphone companies do not want you to know and studies about microwaves on the body.
Warning: Your Cell Phone May Be Hazardous to Your Health
Ever worry that that gadget you spend hours holding next to your head might be damaging your brain? Well, the evidence is starting to pour in, and it's not pretty. So why isn't anyone in America doing anything about it?By Christopher Ketcham Photograph by Tom Schierlitz February 2010
Earlier this winter, I met an investment banker who was diagnosed with a brain tumor five years ago. He's a managing director at a top Wall Street firm, and I was put in touch with him through a colleague who knew I was writing a story about the potential dangers of cell-phone radiation. He agreed to talk with me only if his name wasn't used, so I'll call him Jim. He explained that the tumor was located just behind his right ear and was not immediately fatal—the five-year survival rate is about 70 percent. He was 35 years old at the time of his diagnosis and immediately suspected it was the result of his intense cell-phone usage. "Not for nothing," he said, "but in investment banking we've been using cell phones since 1992, back when they were the Gordon-Gekko-on-the-beach kind of phone." When Jim asked his neurosurgeon, who was on the staff of a major medical center in Manhattan, about the possibility of a cell-phone-induced tumor, the doctor responded that in fact he was seeing more and more of such cases—young, relatively healthy businessmen who had long used their phones obsessively. He said he believed the industry had discredited studies showing there is a risk from cell phones. "I got a sense that he was pissed off," Jim told me. A handful of Jim's colleagues had already died from brain cancer; the more reports he encountered of young finance guys developing tumors, the more certain he felt that it wasn't a coincidence. "I knew four or five people just at my firm who got tumors," Jim says. "Each time, people ask the question. I hear it in the hallways."
It's hard to talk about the dangers of cell-phone radiation without sounding like a conspiracy theorist. This is especially true in the United States, where non-industry-funded studies are rare, where legislation protecting the wireless industry from legal challenges has long been in place, and where our lives have been so thoroughly integrated with wireless technology that to suggest it might be a problem—maybe, eventually, a very big public-health problem—is like saying our shoes might be killing us.
Except our shoes don't send microwaves directly into our brains. And cell phones do—a fact that has increasingly alarmed the rest of the world. Consider, for instance, the following headlines that have appeared in highly reputable international newspapers and journals over the past few years. From summer 2006, in the Hamburg Morgenpost: are we telephoning ourselves to death? That fall, in the Danish journal Dagens Medicin: mobile phones affect the brain's metabolism. December 2007, from Agence France-Presse: israeli study says regular mobile use increases tumour risk. January 2008, in London's Independent: mobile phone radiation wrecks your sleep. September 2008, in Australia's The Age: scientists warn of mobile phone cancer risk.
Though the scientific debate is heated and far from resolved, there are multiple reports, mostly out of Europe's premier research institutions, of cell-phone and PDA use being linked to "brain aging," brain damage, early-onset Alz*heimer's, senility, DNA damage, and even sperm die-offs (many men, after all, keep their cell phones in their pants pockets or attached at the hip). In September 2007, the European Union's environmental watchdog, the European Environment Agency, warned that cell-phone technology "could lead to a health crisis similar to those caused by asbestos, smoking, and lead in petrol."
Perhaps most worrisome, though, are the preliminary results of the multinational Interphone study sponsored by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, in Lyon, France. (Scientists from thirteen countries took part in the study, the United States conspicuously not among them.) Interphone researchers reported in 2008 that after a decade of cell-phone use, the chance of getting a brain tumor—specifically on the side of the head where you use the phone—goes up as much as 40 percent for adults. Interphone researchers in Israel have found that cell phones can cause tumors of the parotid gland (the salivary gland in the cheek), and an independent study in Sweden last year concluded that people who started using a cell phone before the age of 20 were five times as likely to develop a brain tumor. Another Interphone study reported a nearly 300 percent increased risk of acoustic neuroma, a tumor of the acoustic nerve.
As more results of the Interphone study trickled out, I called Louis Slesin, who has a doctorate in environmental policy from MIT and in 1980 founded an investigative newsletter called Microwave News. "No one in this country cared!" Slesin said of the findings. "It wasn't news!" He suggested that much of the comfort of our modern lives depends on not caring, on refusing to recognize the dangers of microwave radiation. "We love our cell phones. The paradigm that there's no danger here is part of a worldview that had to be put into place," he said. "Americans are not asking the questions, maybe because they don't want the answers. So what will it take?"
To understand how radiation from cell phones and wireless transmitters affects the human brain, and to get some sense of why the concerns raised in so many studies outside the U.S. are not being seriously raised here, it's necessary to go back fifty years, long before the advent of the cell phone, to the research of a young neuroscientist named Allan Frey.
