Did you see all the people standing on top of that building? Anyone know how much time there was between the quake and th tsunami?

That really brings home the power of the Tsunami from a different perspective. I can't imagine the emotions going through the persons head whilst filming.

Wow! It just amazes me how we don't see many people on the streets as you usually would see in any other place in the planet after an earthquake, it says volumes about japanese culture and discipline.

This catastrophe would have been incredibly larger in lost human lives anywhere else, I'm just speechless... also the amount of water and debris are terrifying!

Wow...that's horrifying. Very lucky people in the couple of large buildings!

I don't think I've seen anything like this in my life: the power of water pitted against the works of man. Those people never had a chance.

I moved inland to get away to the sea - about 25Km away and found myself living a couple of minutes from a river - slightly elevated above it though. Now I'm listening to some old prophet say keep away from rivers as well. Sheesh, not sure of should start freakin

the only natural thing out my way is a very dormant volcanoe wiremu. though i would never say never with it coming back to life.. i heard there was a volcanoe tube coming from queensland down through this way.. i will have to investigate..

Guess i better add to this.. from some research i really cannot find any live lava tubes in australia.

absolutely terrifying....

should be a WAKE-UP call to all crooks

wealth follows the water flow to the ocean...so does the human flesh, if we don't do smth soon

ohh, water will also get in underground tunnels...

don't worry crooks, it will get in your underground palaces...and hopefully will meet the lava

happy roasting

I'm sure it's probably just a bug or something but have you guys taken a look at the object in the sky at around 1:27. Could it be an observer?! :)
