Ask your heart this question:
"If I had all the money in the world I would..."
What would you do with this kind of power?

I would change our world economic system from monetary based to resources based. As described by the Venus project.

i would be scared, it's a very negative thing to have, if i did i would try and give it away to people who needed it without being known to be the one doing it.

...spend half of it on cleaning up the planet, and give the other half to all the citizens of the planet (equity share - those who now have the least would get the most.) I recognize that unless the paradigm and the 'rules of the game' are changed, that the clever and unscrupulous will have the lion's share of the money in a short while, and in a few generations of 'keeping it in the family', dynasties and empires would be formed.
But, we're smarter than that now, right? :~) So, we would need to powwow and figure out how to set the rules to make equity the mandate.

If I had all the money in the world it would become useless...as I would be the only one with it. Since the rest of the world will have none...I would be left with an unlimited supply of toilet paper.

give it to Mom.
She was always the best householder, and is giving it away freely and happily when an opportunity to raise others presents itself.

If I had all the money in the world and going by the system that is in place, I would research into how I can invest it into aiding life here and the environment. I would have homes built for everyone, made of hempcrete and solar panels and let everyone choose their dream home. People in the less fortunate countries would be sheltered as well. Basically everyone will have equal options. I would invest in centers made for schooling people on spiritual awareness, healing, growing food and other essential skills.
Then I would invest it in those many great people who are are finding ways to utilise free energy and help to assist them with their projects. Ideally, I would use it to become self-sufficient and help anyone else who wants to.
There are so many endless possibilities to do though and the funny thing is it doesn't require money because it never existed... Everything we ever need is right here. :cool2:

I think a better phrasing of the question is "What would you do if you were given all of the wealth of the global elite?"
If you had all of the money, it would truly be worthless since there would be no value allotted to a currency with a circulation of 1.
In response to my phrasing of the question, I would:
1. Start a global foundation to build communities.
2. Plan to make a world, (through this foundation) where every person on earth has the basic needs of shelter, food, water, and purpose through self sustaining, energy independent communities.
3. Fund the research of free energy (with no limit, guidelines, or meter) through people like Wade Frazier et al.
That's all I have so far.

Sorry, you are correct, not all the money, if you had 95% of the money, because only 5% of the money is in circulation.
In Michael Moore's documentary "Capitalism: A Love Story"; Moore shows CitiBank reports that show that the top 1% of bank account holders own 95% of the wealth.

Well, if I had all the money in the world - that would mean nobody else would have any.
If everyone else were sensible they would make a completely new system of exchange - and all my money would be completely worthless.:p
I thought maybe it could be used as toilet paper - but it's plastic, so, no good there.
It's pretty much useless.

I think it would be exhausting to have unlimited funds. The overwhelming obligation would be staggering. This is a very useful thread

Just read this now - so it wipes out my previous post.
I figure if I got 95% of the money I can't be a very nice person to begin with - so, when I'm sick of spending and living it up, maybe I'll look to controlling the world.

If anyone person had "all the money in the world" that would mean that the rest of us would have nothing...thus relient on that person for handouts...
If it was me, I would pile it up and have an enormous bonfire.:p end of issue, back to bartering.
