Always wondered why Jordan Maxwell endorsed Manly P Hall as one of his biggest influences in his research, given that Hall was a high end Mason. Am I missing something or does anyone know why?

The masons are part of his lengthy studies over time/ I think they were early on a big part of his awakening.

I asked the same question last year and got no response other than a few people objecting to my (from their perception) 'dissing' him. I've appreciated very much Maxwell's contribution to our knowledge base, but his admiration of Hall bothered me as well. (Kind of like admiring Hitler, imo). I guess you can admire someone's scholarship without embracing his philosophy, but....it is said emulation is the sincerest form of flattery...

To be fair, it is my understanding that the Masons started out to be an order with the highest goals, precepts and integrity around. Our founding fathers were Masons, but they and their Masonic order were quite different from what the Masons became after they were infiltrated by 'the dark side'.
