This is the first web site where the average citizen (or anyone in the world) can see what radiation levels are anywhere in the USA at any time and other countries across the globe.

A growing number of Radiation Monitoring Stations across the country, using various models of GeigerCounters, upload their Radiation Count data in real time to their computer using a Data Cable, and then over the Internet to this web site, all of this accomplished through GeigerGraph for Networks software.

Update: 3/29/11, 6:15 A.M. Radiation Monitoring by Government vs. Private Citizen

So what can we take away from yesterday's incident of the false alert? It seems to me that we must conclude that there are tradeoffs in the ways that we monitor radiation. Government operation of monitoring stations is under tight and direct control, but at the same time leaves open the question of transparency when it comes to the Government's understandable position of walking a fine line between keeping the public informed while averting panic.

Private citizen radiation monitoring networks like ours, on the other hand, are partly dependent on the integrity of its individual Monitoring Stations, but on the other hand, the reporting of radiation levels is quite transparent. So if we as citizens are to do our own monitoring of radiation, which is a very sensitive subject matter, and then report that data to the public over a network, there are certain guidelines that wisdom dictates we must follow: There still must be some degree of central control. That includes being discriminating in issuing licenses to Monitoring Stations in the first place, to minimize the chance of admission to the network of those bent on mischief.
It then follows that the network must retain the ability to remove any Monitoring Stations that abuse their privilege.
The network should provide for multiple means of communication between client Monitoring Stations and the Network Server, along with the ability for real time discourse among Monitoring Stations through Chat and the like.

Update: 3/25/11, 5:15 A.M.

Until some Japanese Monitoring Stations come on line in the Radiation Network, I received a verbal report from a customer of ours from Japan, living in Kawasaki City, a southwest Tokyo suburb, which puts her about 150 miles from the ailing Fukushima nuclear power plants. She reported a radiation level of .16 uSv/hr, which equates to 16 uR/hr, and that levels have been rising a little bit. Since normal background is perhaps 12 to 15 uR/hr, depending on location and altitude, her levels are not too bad at that distance.

We have more than hope if we take positive action. One way to take action is to look at the long list of things that are useful for protection from radiation--some are as simply and inexpensive as bathing in baking soda solution or breathing in a vapor of it.
The point is to practice prevention--that is, give your body the nutrients it needs now so it can resist any exposure, rather than wait until you are toxic. There are many foods such as Spirulina, Chlorella, sea vegies, leafy green vegies, any antioxidant, miso, extracts of strawberries and blueberries,etc. etc. and many different supplements such as NAC, lipoic acid, nascent iodine that offer protection as well as detoxification.
I believe the ETs are helping to clean up the mess as they can, but of course, they can't do so openly without great risk. So they can't do it all for us, but we CAN help ourselves and each other.
Dr. Emoto's work has proven that prayer and meditation has an effect on water molecules, and we can all put that into action as well.

One wonders why in our recent psychology and psychiatry there cannot be found any serious study or discussion about hope. Hope certainly has a great effect on our emotions, our glands, and our behavior. Hope can change the chemistry of the secretions of the glands and the condition of the blood circulation. It releases energy from certain etheric centers and gives us courage and strength, bringing great changes in our electromagnetic field or aura.

Hope creates a frame of mind in which man searches and strives continuously to find a solution, and because of such a positive tension, his Higher Self responds and brings the needed light

Hope prevents negative thoughtforms from building themselves within your aura. Negative thoughtforms are the cause of many failures. Hope creates a sphere of consciousness in which negative thoughtforms cannot breed. When the consciousness is free from negative thoughtforms, higher impressions can reach it and register themselves upon it.

Most of our failures are the result of defeatist or failure thoughtforms. We not only create them, but we import them from our friends and enemies. Imported and created failure thoughtforms literally eat and destroy any positive or constructive thoughtform. Many people try to be successful; but when success approaches, they give up because the failure thoughtforms reverse the gears on their path.

Hope prevents such an action. It not only nourishes the constructive thoughtforms, but also broadcasts them, thus creating a magnetic atmosphere around you.

Hope continues even if you attain the object you hoped for. Hope leaves you and enters a different dimension and makes you search for it. Thus you are led from one dimension to another because of the hope. that is attainable and because of a hope that is still unattainable.

On the other hand, when you see the evaporation of your hope, hope does not vanish but appears from another comer in another form and encourages you to follow its steps. Thus whether you attain your hope or lose it, it is always in Pandora's jar.

The power of hope is based on the fact that it is not an attribute but rather the feeling of the existence of the True Self, dancing and playing with every object of hope, hiding and reappearing behind every interest to challenge you for your future. Hope is the voice of the future, the thread of the True Self, pulling up His reflection which is wandering in the lower worlds. This is the reason why hope is always there whether it is met or it is lost A person, a group, or a nation advances by hope. Hope creates a proper atmosphere in which growth and development become possible.

There are three kinds of influential people:

1. The fIrst kind are those who speak about doom, about final destruction, about annihilation; who pump fear into the hearts of people, using fear to control or exploit them. These people can be found everywhere, talking about the shifting of the axis of the Earth, about floods and earthquakes, and about the numerous diseases which are supposedly going to engulf humanity. Some of these people are false prophets. Some of them are pessimists. Some of them have hidden interests behind their words. They spread poison, and this poison affects your nervous system and your heart and breaks off the wings of your soul.

2. The second kind of people are those who are very rosy and goody-goody. Everything is beautiful and just right for them. They are satisfied with life. No matter what happens, they feel safe, content, and happy; and they sleep under the blanket of their goodiness until the flood comes and dumps them into the ocean. One of my Teachers used to say that such people enter hell in their sleep. Such people allow evil to spread roots and branch out in such an immensity that people of goodwill find themselves incapable of fighting against it and stopping its growth. Because of their goodiness, they indirectly encourage those kinds of activities which eventually lead people into destruction. Such people are not only optimistic fools, but also cowards, who hide behind their selfish interests and let evil grow around them.

3. The third kind of people are those who see the danger, the corruption, the pollution, and the evil of totalitarianism and take conscious action to prevent its expansion, without pessimism but with inflamed optimism. They see the situation clearly. They see the difficulties and obstacles on the path. They see the growing power of evil; but they never lose their hope of victory over evil. They have the experience that the opportunity of progress comes when there are crises and obstacles, against which man walks with hope and determination to win the victory. This third kind of people belongs to the race of heroes. They know that in unexpected hours the help reaches them and that on the edge of the abyss the hand touches them. They feel that all events going on upon Earth are watched by Higher Forces. They know that there exist higher resources of energy which, in unexpected times, come to the rescue.

The substance of hope makes such rescue-work possible. Hope provides the right atmosphere through which the~ fIres of Space reach us. It is not pessimism or sickening optimism that provides such a channel, but real hope - which is the foundation of true optimism.

Unfortunately, our daily newspapers and radio and television programs perpetuate the pessimistic spirit and day and night nourish it with their gloomy news and with movies of violence and destruction. After reading your morning paper and listening to the news on your television, you fill yourself with the spirit of pessimism and negativity; you lose your hope for life; and all day your body produces poison or imperil. Once you poison yourself, your handshake becomes poisonous; your smell becomes poisonous. To whatever you touch, you impart poison. You carry poison into your office, workshop, and home. Day after day you increase your poison, and eventually you defeat yourself with your pessimism.

Those people who change crises into a process of purifIcation and opportunities for transformation, victory, and achievement are called "the hopes" of the nation and the world, who stand in front of humanity as paths leading toward greater achievements, new courage, daring, and striving. In reading and hearing about such people, we are filled with new hope and we think, "If they achieved, if they conquered in those difficult conditions, we, too, can achieve and conquer." Thus we become a source of hope for ourselves and for others.

When darkness descends on our path; when we are lost in the dark nights of our lives; when we feel that all is lost in the chaos; we still see a distant light, the light of hope - which shines and inspires us to forge ahead and achieve victory. That distant light is our Inner Guide, Who passed many dark nights and Who knows that each one of us must fight for his own victory.

Hope is a subconscious and superconscious confidence that all possibilities exist. While your concrete mind gives up, your subjective mind still searches for a solution or an answer. Such a labor is called hoping for. I imagine the act of hoping as a torch carried in your right hand in darkness through intriguing caves, to find the passage leading to the sunlight.

The psychological and physiological effects of hope are:

balance of mind
stability in confusing conditions
control over negative elements within us and around us
aspiration
joy
physical strength
better circulation of the blood
courage and daring
regulation of the glands and the functions
of the organs
healing
inspiration

Hope creates spiritual magnetism, which draws inspiration or clear direction from Higher Sources. Hope keeps the vision of achievement in our hearts in spite of all conditions and thus keeps alive our aspiration toward the vision. Our hope can have a very positive effect on people who are hindering our success. It melts away their negative ~ttitudes and creates an urge in them to open our way and,. help our efforts to fulfill our destiny. For example, if I hope that I will be able to cooperate with a certain person, I naturally send him thoughts of cooperation. Those thoughts gradually weaken his negative attitude toward me, and he eventually cooperates with me. Hope reaches his soul, and his soul washes away personality antagonism.

Hope is psychic energy. It uses thought constructively. Hopeless thoughts never reach their destination. Hope changes the currents of energy from destructive toward constructive ends. Hope gives the possibility to Higher Forces to reach you, to impress you, and to guide you. Hopelessness is like living under a thick fog: the rescuers cannot see you from the mountaintop. Hope gives a signal to Higher Forces to reach you and strengthen you.

When you are full of hope, you combat against all ugly and defeatist thoughtforms sent by dark forces and by failed friends or enemies. These thoughtforms cannot penetrate and control your thinking as long as your hope is alive. Once a few thieves were planning to rob a house. After they had climbed the fence and gotten into the yard, one said, "There is a light on inside. Someone is awake. We can't do it today." And they turned back. Hope is like that light in the house which repels the thieves.

Hope sends signals to friends on Earth and in Higher Worlds to hasten to our rescue. It creates communication lines between people and worlds. Hope strives to the end, and each end turns into a beginning. One day people will see on a screen how hope creates harmonious and colorful brain waves and stabilizes disturbed auras, creating health, happiness, a cooperative spirit, and joy.

Know that often negative elements are servants to positive elements. One type of people says, "This event is absolute "evil and extremely bad." Others'say, "Oh, that is nothing. It didn't bring harm to me. It happened many times, and it may happen again." The third type of people say, "Well, the causes of this event are as follows . . . and we can eliminate such events by taking the following steps. . .

In the fIrst case, people are caught in the arms of the octopus of the bad event. They are frozen and motionless, and they conclude that it is the end of the world. In the second case, people are indifferent to the suffering, loss, and aftershocks; and they are content because they think that the event had no effect on them. In the third case, people realize the seriousness of the event, but they can see a way out of it. They try to think how similar events can be prevented and how such events can be utilized to bring out a new way for which the world was searching and put it into action for the benefit of people.

Hope is not an emotional attitude, but a clear mental and intuitive insight, charged with courage and determination to achieve. Every time we read our newspapers we say, "That is it. The end is not far away." This is how we slide downhill and lose our hope.

Every event is the result of certain causes. It is possible to initiate new causes to change the causes of future events. Sometimes the accumulated causes must manifest, to clear the sky for a new sunshine. The evolution of the planet cannot be stopped by the conflict between the fleas living on its skin. It is possible that a worldwide catastrophe may take place, but it will not be the end. Maybe it will be a new beginning. Maybe the consciousness of man will expand enough to totally change his instinct to fight and his glamor of separatism and seJf-interest. Great truths often reveal themselves in great shocks.

Hope will never leave us. It remained in the bottom of Pandora's jar. It is the foundation on which we build our lives.

Once a psychiatrist came and said to me, "I am really tired. I cannot face the condition on Earth. I see global destruction. I don't want to live any more."

I said, "I see the condition exactly as you see it, but I see something deeper."

"What is it?"

Unfortunately, that is a very, very good question. Despite the balsamic nonsense being pumped out by the professional media and government "soothers", the reality is very serious. Let me remind you that in addition to thinking about your thyroid gland, you also need to use protective measures against radiation in general. Wait! The US Government, in the form of the EPA is there protecting us! Yes, they are! They are raising the levels of contamination in drinking water that can be present before an alert is sounded “nearly 1000-fold increase for exposure to strontium-90, a 3000 to 100,000-fold hike for exposure to iodine-131; and an almost 25,000 rise for exposure to radioactive nickel-63” as reported by our colleague Mike Adams.

My answer? Right now, as an adult, I would "tank up" on very high quality, bioavailable iodine sources (no, iodized salt will simply not cut it), but NOT sea food from Japan and the Pacific Ocean (for exactly the same reasons that I no longer eat ANYTHING from the Gulf of Mexico - man-made horrific contamination which will contaminate all surviving sea life for God-Alone-Knows-How-Long). But I would keep a weather eye on the situation.

For the kids? I would be very, very close, right now, to adding KI to their daily intake. Not yet, but very, very soon.

Oh, Yes, One Other Option: GET OUT OF DODGE!

Low levels of radiation found in US milk

WASHINGTON – Very low levels of radiation turned up in a sample of milk from Washington state, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday, but federal officials assured consumers not to worry.

The FDA said such findings were to be expected in the coming days because of the nuclear crisis in Japan, and that the levels were expected to drop relatively quickly.

Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power complex began leaking radiation after it was damaged by a devastating earthquake and tsunami earlier this month.

Results from a March 25 milk sample taken from Spokane, Wash., showed levels of radioactive Iodine-131 that were still 5,000 times below levels of concern set by the FDA, including levels set for infants and children.

This method will assist you to both protect and heal yourself from exposure, not only to radioactivity, but also to neurotoxins and to mutating forms of bacteria and viruses. From our perspective you can expect to see an increase of these in your near timeline.

The method involves connecting to your Celestial Soul, the BA. This action is to connect to the realms of light that are a part of your being.

Everything that exists in your cosmos can be viewed as a qualification or energetic expression of light—even your densest forms of matter are essentially a form of light.

In this method you connect to your Celestial Soul, holding the intent and expectation that it will impart to you an energetic that protects and/or heals you. You send this intent to your Celestial Soul with the emotional vibration of appreciation or gratitude. This is simply the vibrational resonance that activates this higher aspect of your being.

Once you send this intent conjoined with appreciation or gratitude to your BA, you shift your awareness into your heart chakra, receiving the energetic of healing or protection into the heart chakra. You might experience this energetic as a form of light, or as geometric patterns, or you may feel the sensation of a descent of energy. You may also experience this energetic simply as a thought/feeling.

Once the energetic is received in the heart chakra, it is ready to send.

For this phase you will need some pure water, since water holds this type of information extremely well. Holding a container of water in your hands, through intent, you send this energy that is in the heart chakra down the arms into the hands and through the chakras that are in the center of each palm. The energetic enters the water through this pathway.

We suggest you amplify this energetic by repeating the procedure three times, for a total of three times—two more times in addition to the first. You then drink the water. The water permeates the water element of your body, and the healing and protective qualities eventually enter every cell.

Through this action you are qualifying light, causing it to descend through the central pathway of your body into your heart and sending it into the water element. The consciousness of the water receives this energetic, and when you drink it, the body receives it.

If you find yourself in a situation where you have been exposed to radioactivity you would engage this procedure as we have described it, qualifying the energy that descends from the BA to protect and heal you from any possibility of radiation poisoning. If you have other means to protect yourself, you should obviously engage these as well, but even if you are left with nothing but the tools of your own consciousness, you can protect and heal yourself.

If you have been exposed to neurotoxins you would do the same. If you are in the midst of an epidemic that involves bacterial or viral infections, we advise you to do the same.

As you collectively enter more deeply into this more complex and intense phase of the Chaotic Node, bacteria and viruses will mutate faster. This method will allow you to protect and heal yourself from these mutating life forms.

It is important to understand that you are creating the protection and healing through the powers of your own consciousness. You have direct access to your own light realms. You have the sovereign right to engage the light realms on your own behalf and on the behalf of your loved ones.

If you find yourself in one of these difficult situations we have described, we suggest you take the Medicine of Light—which is the water that you have charged—several times a day, as your intuition guides you.

The physical ramifications of the earthquake activity in Japan and the resulting tsunami are very difficult to deal with. But we wish to shift our attention from the physical to the mental, emotional, and spiritual effects created by such a disaster,

Due to the fact that you are in a Chaotic Node and energies from deep space conjoined with solar flare activity are affecting your energy bodies, you, as a collective, are more affected. What we mean by this is that witnessing the suffering of your fellow humans shatters the heart. There is a recognition that their predicament could easily be yours. This recognition can create an opening in your heart, and it is through the heart—your heart—that higher states of consciousness are realized, and so the earthquake in Japan is, in many ways, an earthquake of the collective heart.

The times before you are not easy. From our perspective, increased earth changes are upon you. But one result of such events is that you are shaken to your roots and the mass hypnosis pauses for a moment. And in such utter and surrealistic devastation, many of you see very clearly that your civilization rests on tenuous grounds. We mean this both literally and figuratively.

And so our advice for this phase of the Chaotic Node is to learn and master the ability to create Medicines of Light for yourself, so that when the time arises, you know how to engage this power of protection and healing that you possess in your very nature. And we suggest you navigate through these times not only with your minds, but with your hearts—and let your hearts be touched, for it is through your hearts that you will ascend the spiral pathway to your own greatness.

What we mean by pure water…

We have suggested using water for creating Medicines of Light since water holds this type of information extremely well. By “pure water” we simply mean clean water. It does not matter what type of water it is. You can even use tap water.

If there is no pure water available…

For rare instances when you do not have access to drinkable water, you follow the procedure we have described previously, but instead of sending the energetic of protection and/or healing from the heart chakra down your arms into you hands and into water, you send the energetic of protection and/or healing from your heart chakra directly into the water that comprises your body. In other words, you do not need any external water at all. Since your body is mostly water, it will receive the Medicine of Light and work with it in similar ways as if you had taken a drink of charged water.

We suggest, however, charging water whenever possible, because this external ritual of intent is the most powerful way to create Medicines of Light for most persons. Since most humans are familiar with taking medicine in a pill or liquid form, this ritual of drinking charged water impresses the subconscious mind and activates deeper levels of your self-healing abilities.

If your only drinking water is radioactive…

Should you find yourself in a situation where the only water source available to you for drinking has been contaminated with radioactivity, and you are forced to drink it in order to survive, we would suggest following two simple steps.

First step: Charge the water with protection and healing from radiation poisoning (before you drink it) just as you would do for creating a Medicine of Light. Drink this water for survival, in as small amounts as possible, knowing it has been charged with protection and healing from radiation poisoning through your own intent.

Second step: Now create a Medicine of Light without water (as we described above) for protection and/or healing from radiation poisoning. With this second step you are charging the waters of your body directly. Think of this second step as a form of energetic insurance.

This step uses the water in your body as the water that is charged. So to be clear: after treating the water you need for survival and drinking it, you send the energetic of protection and/or healing from your heart chakra directly into the water that comprises your body. You are not using any external water for this step. Since your body is mostly water, it will receive the Medicine of Light and work with it in similar ways as if you had taken a drink of charged water.

Throughout the day, whenever you drink water, engage the two steps above until there is no suspicion of radioactive contamination.

We do realize that in such dire circumstances it may be very difficult to transcend the emotions of paranoia and fear, but this is what you must do just for the short time you are charging the water. Remember, no matter what your external situation may be, your Celestial Soul (your Higher Self) resides in the light realms and always brings with it a peace that passes all understanding. In that island of peace, even in the midst of great difficulties, you can find a passage to the emotional states of appreciation and/or gratitude (which activates your Celestial Soul). This is the vibratory realm from which all Medicines of Light are created—regardless of their form.

I have been channeling the Hathors for about twenty years now and started posting their Planetary Messages in February of 2003. And in all that time I have never sensed in them such an urgency to post one of their communications. Usually, I am given several days to dwell on and contemplate their messages before writing my comments. But that luxury does not exist in this moment. They have asked Judi and me to post this particular message as soon as possible, and so I will make my comments brief and to the point.

The central message here is that all human beings have the ability to create what the Hathors call Medicines of Light. And this type of medicine has an inherent capability and potential to protect and heal us not only from radioactive poisoning, but also from the effects of neurotoxins, as well as bacterial and viral infections.

The method is simple and to the point. Since some of you reading this may be new to the whole idea of a Celestial Soul (or BA), let me clarify its location and how to engage it. The BA, or Celestial Soul, is an aspect of your own consciousness that is outside the constraints of time and space. Some of you might refer to the Celestial Soul as the Higher Self. But whatever you call it, your Celestial Soul exists in what the Hathors call the light realms, and this aspect of you is engaged whenever you send it appreciation or gratitude.

Your BA does not have a location in time and space since it is transcendent to both.

But it does have an entry point to your energy field, which is about arm’s distance above your head. If you were to raise your hands over your head and touch your fingertips together, your fingers would be in the vicinity of this entry point. And this is where you place your attention in the first phase of their method for creating a Medicine of Light. (Do note that placing of your hands above your head is only for orientation purposes. You do not actually put your hands over your head when creating the Medicines of Light).

Once you place your awareness in the area of your BA point, you hold in your mind the qualification of light you wish to receive. Let’s say, for example, that you have been, or will be, exposed to dangerous forms of radioactivity and are in danger of radiation poisoning. After focusing your attention on your BA point above your head, hold the intent that the energy that descends from your BA will be an energetic of healing and/or protection from radiation poisoning.

You then send the feeling of appreciation or gratitude upward from your heart chakra to the BA point above your head—as you hold the intent or qualification that the energetic imparted to you from your BA will protect and/or heal you from radiation poisoning.

Next you shift your attention from your BA point to your heart chakra (in the center of your chest beneath the sternum) and then wait to receive the energetic of protection and healing from your BA.

Those of you new to this may need to send the intent or qualification along with the feeling of appreciation or gratitude to your BA several times before you notice a response. But just keep sending this intention joined with the feeling of appreciation or gratitude upward to your BA until you feel a descent of energy. When you feel the descent of energy from your Celestial Soul, shift your awareness to your heart chakra. Allow your heart center to receive this energetic of protection and healing.

You then place your hands around or over a container of pure water and send this energetic received from your Celestial Soul into the water. The energetic of healing and/or protection that has entered your heart center will move down your arms and into the water through the two chakras that are in the center of the palm of each hand.

Repeat this process for a total of three times. Then drink the water.

If you are in a precarious situation, the Hathors advise that you create a Medicine of Light several times a day and drink it according to your intuition.

As the Hathors point out, Medicines of Light have many more applications than just protection and healing from radiation poisoning. You can use these to protect and/or heal yourself from neurotoxins, as well as bacterial and viral infections. Although they did not mention it, I asked the Hathors after they gave this message if the method would work for other physical challenges such as cancer. And they said that Medicines of Light could most definitely be created in the same way to deal with this type of situation—as well as others.

Obviously, if you are dealing with a serious situation such as radiation poisoning, exposure to neurotoxins, and/or epidemics of bacterial and viral infections, you will want to avail yourself of all medical remedies. In other words, this method is not meant to replace medical or public health solutions, but is meant to be an adjunct, something you can do yourself—for yourself.

After giving their message, I asked the Hathors about making Medicines of Light for those who are unable to do it for themselves, like children and pets. They said that you would use the same method, except for the fact that you would qualify the intent for the child or animal you are going to give the Medicine to. For example, if you were creating a Medicine of Light to protect or heal yourself from radiation poisoning, you would send the thought that the energetic you are going to receive from your Celestial Soul is for your own personal protection or healing. If you were going to do this for a child or a pet, you would send the thought that the energetic you are going to receive from your Celestial Soul is for the protection or healing of the being you are going to give the Medicine to, i.e. your child or your pet.

It is here that I would like to interject something. It is far better to teach someone how to create a Medicine of Light than to create a dependency. The ability to create Medicines of Light is an inherent ability in all human beings. It is part of our multidimensional legacy. And to empower someone to do this for him or her self is a service to his or her mastery.

I would personally hate to see this method being used by “healers” to create Medicines of Light for others under the guise that they have some special powers that others do not. This method for creating Medicines of Light is a human birthright, and my feeling is that it should be shared with all persons.

There is much that I would like to share about this simple method for creating Medicines of Light, but philosophical and metaphysical observations will have to wait for another time.

The Hathors are insistent that we post this information and circulate it as quickly as is possible.

EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: Latest Satellite Imagery From Fukushima Tells Sobering Tale

Noting that the press has largely turned its resources off of the Fukushima complex, and needing up-to-date information on the status of the damage control efforts there, we secured the most up-to-date satellite photo from DigitalGlobe (dated March 31st), which we analyze below. This is the first photo of the damaged reactor site at Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear facility made available to the public in over a week. That means you, our readers, are the first public eyes anywhere to see this photo.

Drawing upon the expertise of our resident nuclear engineer and Ann Stringer, imaging expert, we conclude that the situation at Fukushima is not stabilized: things are not yet at a place of steady progress in the containment and clean-up efforts. It's still a dance, forwards and backwards, with the workers making gains here and there but the situation forcing them to react defensively all too often.

In this report, we will tell you what we know for sure, what we are nearly certain of, and what we remain forced to speculate about.

What We Can See

Here's what we can directly observe in the larger satellite image:

* Steam is still rising from reactors #2, #3 (circled in green) and #4.
* Of the four reactor buildings, three are nearly or totally destroyed, while the outside (at least) of the fourth is in relatively better shape.
* We can count 7 fire trucks 'on site' with another 7 just to the north, all with water lines strung out across the ground.
* There is only one ship/vessel to be seen, located inside of the breakwater and nearly as far to the north as it can go inside that boundary.
* A significant number of the vehicles that can be seen at the core of the site have not moved since the first released photos on March 12.
* There is a parking lot slightly to the north and west with approximately 250 passenger vehicles in it and a side lot with 30 large green tanks neatly arranged in rows.
* The rest of the area is one, two, and four lane roads (no traffic at all), worked farmland, residential and commercial areas, mostly empty parking lots, and two baseball diamonds.

Here's what we don't see

* Nowhere in the 25 km area in the main photo can we find anything that looks like a staging area with a large collection of assets such as tanker trucks, pumpers, cement trucks, piles of pre-staged materials, ambulances, and fire trucks.
* The cement pumper truck seen a week ago has been apparently replaced by the boom at reactor #4.
* There's no obvious barge delivering fresh water for the rector cooling efforts as recently reported (it may have come and gone?).
* Any obvious changes to the roofs of any of the reactors.
* Any people outside the plants working.

Things we can logically conclude

The steam that is venting is a mixed blessing. It implies that cooling water is getting to some hot material, which is a good thing, but it also means that something is hot enough to vaporize water leading to the continued release of radioactive contamination into the surrounding environment and further bombarding the reactor complex with radiation which complicates the work efforts. [Note: prior sentence edited for clarity on April 2, 2011].

This means that the lack of steam coming from reactor #1 is either a very good sign, or a very bad sign. Good because it could mean that the containment vessels are intact and cooling water is circulating. Bad because it could imply that no water is getting to it and it is a very hot mass right now. According to TEPCO, reactor #1 has had seawater, and now freshwater, circulating through the reactor vessel - and since both containment vessels are intact, we'll conclude the lack of steam is a good sign.

The situation at Fukushima is going to drag on for years. First there's the matter of stabilizing the situation which has not yet been fully achieved. Recent surprises in terms of the amounts and locations of radioactivity are one sign that the situation is not fully stabilized. Still, nothing has blown up in quite a while, the steam venting appears consistent, and the major surprises seem to be over for now. While the TEPCO workers are still reacting to things as they arise, these are smaller things than last week, which is another hopeful sign.

The detected presence of neutron beams, I-134, and radioactive chlorine are all strongly supportive of the idea that criticality has resumed. Our best guess is that these are localized pockets, probably of short duration, and do not involve the entire core mass of any particular reactor conflagrating in some gigantic, greenish blob of uncontrolled fission. The geometries of the fuel in relation to neutron moderators requires precise conditions to support sustained fission and so it is rather unlikely to be occurring in anything other than localized pockets. If the entire reactor in its fully operational state was capable of supporting what we might scale to 100% fission, the amount of fission happening after a partial (or complete) meltdown will be a far lesser percentage. Still, any amount of fission is unwelcome at this point because it is adding to the heat and generating fresh radioactive elements that can escape.

The constantly rising levels of radioactivity found in the seawater are a further unwelcome development, but without a proper isotope analysis we cannot conclude anything about the potential resumption of fission from their gross amounts alone. It's always possible that the leftover fission products are now being washed in larger amounts into the sea for some reason.

There's a significant hole to the left of center that goes deep into the sub-structure (with a strange greenish cast that we've not been able to resolve after much conjecture) and it's clear that this building alone will take a long time to resolve.

Interestingly, we get our clearest image yet of the hole in turbine building #3 that was created by something ejected into the air during the reactor #3 explosion.

Looking like one of those cartoon cutouts that happens when the coyote hits the ground, we get the impression that whatever it was happened to be quite heavy and possibly shaped like an Apollo capsule. It has been my suspicion, which contradicts the official story, that the concrete containment vessel was what actually blew up in reactor #3 and I have been looking for evidence of in the form of large, heavy chunks of concrete (especially the refueling plug) lying about. I don't know what made this hole in the roof of the turbine building, but it was heavy.

Reactor #4 provides us with proof that serious damage can result from the effects of an overheated spent fuel storage pool:

Here the watering boom can be clearly seen. A camera was recently attached to the boom and it took some interior shots which were suggestive of the idea that the spent fuel pool is damaged and largely drained of water. Spraying water into this pool, then, is probably a balancing act with the desire to spray enough water on the rods to keep them cool being offset by the risk of having radioactive water drain away for parts unknown.

Almost certainly this same balancing act defines the efforts for reactors #2 and #3 as well.
Conclusions

The efforts at Fukushima are probably weeks away from even basic stabilization and we are years away from any sort of a final resolution. This crisis is going to be with all of us for a very long time. Radioactive material will continue to escape from the complex into the environment for weeks at best, months or years at worst.

The chief concern here is that things might still take a turn for the worse whereby radiation spikes to levels that prevent humans from getting close enough to perform meaningful operations and work on the site. If the radiation spikes high enough it will force an evacuation from the vicinity complicating every part of what has to happen next from monitoring to remediation.

The general lack of staged materials anywhere in the vicinity indicates that authorities have not yet decided on a plan of action, feeding our assessment that they are still in 'react mode' and that we are weeks away from nominal stabilization.

On Thursday we learned from the Wall Street Journal that TEPCO only had one stretcher, a satellite phone, 50 protective suits, and only enough dosimeters to give a single one to each worker group. Given this woeful level of preparation it is not surprising to see that regular fire trucks, cement trucks, and a lack of staged materials comprise much of the current damage control mix.

We don't yet know enough to conclude how much fission has spontaneously re-occurred, but we have strong suspicions that the number is higher than zero. Here we make our call for the release of more complete and timely radiation readouts and sampling results by TEPCO and Japan so that we can assess what the true risks are. The situation remains fluid and quite a lot depends now on chance and which way the wind blows.

And as I detailed in the Alert report I issued soonafter the tragic events of the Japan earthquake and tsunami on March 10th, the impact of Japan's tribulations on the global economy will be large and vast. World markets are simply unpreapared for the third-largest economy to suddenly and violently downshift. The persisting crisis at Fukushima simply worsens the picture.

Radiation is a form of beneficial energy which helps sustain life on our planet. But if it accumulates in a large quantity in one place, then it causes tremendous harm to Nature which takes decades to undo. Man is a part of Nature and shares in the consequences of any such catastrophe. In the case of exposure to intense radiation, serious harm results for all the body's life-sustaining mechanisms, and the body's defence system is significantly weakened. This results in abnormalities and diseases. Up until recently medical theory held that the consequences of radiation exposure are incurable, which makes the following report all the more compelling.

In 1992 a experimental research was conducted into the therapeutic effect of cedar nut oil on a group of people who had taken part in the clean-up of the Chernobyl Atomic Energy Station in 1986-1987. The group under observation consisted of 11 persons, including people with pronounced post-Chernobyl syndrome (stenisation, psychopathisation, pronounced irritability of the sympathetic nervous system). The most common complaints were: increased liability to fatigue, reduced working capacity in the latter part of the day (experienced by the whole group), sleeping disorders (8 subjects), frequent nervous breakdowns (7 subjects), recurring headaches (7 subjects). In addition, 4 persons suffered from chronic gastroduodenitis and 3 from chronic laryngotracheitis.

The treatment programme lasted 30-40 days and included a daily intake of cedar nut oil in a milk emulsion of 50%. The mixture was taken in two different doses: once every morning on an empty stomach, in the amount of 1 tablespoon (20 g approx.), and 3 times a day before meals in the amount of 1 teaspoon (7 g approx.).

All patients reported positive results from taking the cedar nut oil. All 11 subjects noticed an improvement in their overall well-being, increased working capacity, a significant stabilisation of the nervous system and a normalisation of sleep patterns. Headaches disappeared (4 subjects) or were less pronounced (3 subjects). A beneficial effect was also observed on the gastrointestinal tract - symptoms of gastritis were barely noticeable. Bowel functions normalised. The symptoms of laryngotracheitis completely disappeared in the three patients who were suffering from this disease.

It is interesting to note that during the whole time the mixture was being taken not one of the patients took ill with flu or any other acute respiratory disease. It should be emphasised that no health improvement was achieved by members of this group through ordinary medical remedies. As a natural food product, cedar nut oil has practically no counter-indications to its application.

Clinical tests of cedar nut oil have been conducted on patients at the Tomsk Scientific Research Institute of Balneotherapy and Physiotherapy. The aims were: to demonstrate the healing effectiveness of a given drug in both internal and external applications through sonic phonophoresis, to determine the dynamics of subjective and objective indications, to study the influence of cedar nut oil on the nutritional, secretory and excretive functions of the stomach and liver, to study its anti-oxidant properties, to work out the methodology of application to treatment, to determine its level of tolerance by patients under various prescribed methodologies.

The following methodologies were used for this purpose:
1. General clinical blood research (aspartate aminotransferase, alanine-aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, antioxidant activity, methane-dicarbonic dialdehyde).
2. General blood and urinal analysis,
3. Follicle-stimulating hormone with targeted biopsy.
4. Duodenal intubation with research into the chemical properties of bile.
5. Determination of the secretory function of the stomach.
6. Ultrasonic examination of the bladder, kidneys and pancreas.

The study comprised 30 patients under observation. Of these 25 had chronic erosive ulcers of the gastric mucosa, duodenal ulcers with accompanying cholane giocholecystitis of opisthorchosis etiology; the remaining five had chronic cholecystitis with chronic gastritis with a reduced secretory stomach function.

Two of the thirty subjects had reactive pancreatitis, while four had chronic hepatitis outside active procedures. With all 30 subject s motor dyskinesia of the bowels was observed.

Subsequently the subjects were prescribed a programme of treatment: one teaspoon of cedar nut oil three times a day over a two-month period. As a result of this treatment stomach pains were completely eliminated in all patients. Symptoms of dyspeptic disorder (nausea, heartburn, regurgitation and vomiting) were not to be found in a single patient. In 28 of the subjects a normalisation of bowel functions took place. According to follicle-stimulating hormone tests conducted 20 days after the treatment, ten of the subjects had experienced full recovery from ulcers and gastritis along with a reduction in inflammation of gastric mucosa and duodenal ulcers, as well as a reduction in ulcer size for the remaining 15 patients with erosive mucous stomach ulcers. There was a 50% reduction in the number of cases of fixed duodenal reflexes, according to endoscopic and laboratory tests. In evaluating the laboratory tests there was an indication of some reduction of acidity in the stomach juices in subjects with previously high acidic levels. The quantity of bilious discharge from the gall bladder doubled.

Thus, on the basis of the results obtained, one may conclude that cedar nut oil has a healing effect, meets a favourable reaction with patients, and can be applied to the treatment of digestive disorders. It is especially effective in curing erosive stomach and duodenal ulcers. During the remission stage one can apply phonophoresis of cedar nut oil to the projection area of the pathological process for a full and lasting hearling effect. When diluted with milk, the cedar nut oil has an anti-inflammation effect in treating cholecystitis and hepatocholecystitis.

TREATMENT METHODOLOGY:

1. Cedar nut oil is prescribed for 30 minutes or 1 hour before intake of food over a period of 21–24 days, with unhurried swallows of a teaspoon at a time three times a day. This is recommended for ulcerations located in the stomach or duodenum.

2. Cedar nut oil is prescribed for 1 hour before intake of food, diluted with milk (1 : 1) according to the method described above. This is recommended when ulceration is combined with chronic cholecystitis.

3. Cedar nut oil is prescribed internally according to variant Nº 2 with the following prescription of cedar nut oil phonophoresis. An ultrasound of the epigastrium is prescribed in a dosage of 0.2–0.6 Bt/cm2 in either pulse or continuous action over a period of 2–4 minutes, as well as of the paravertebral zone (intensity of 0.2 Bt/cm2 over a period of 2 minutes). Before the ultrasound the patient drinks 1 glass of boiled water. This is recommended when the ulceration is combined with chronic pancreatitis

4. In the case of post-excision disorders on account of ulceration, the treatment method may also be applied to patients operated on for cancer of the stomach.

INDICATIONS:

1. Patients with erosive ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.
2. Patients with cholecystitis and hepatocholecystitis.
3. Patients with endogastritis or bulbitis.
4. Patients with chronic pancreatitis.
5. Patients with post-excision discorders on account of ulceration.
There are no known counter-indications to application.

I have posted this information in a previous thread. As I find it is applicable, I submit it here in an edited form.

Under ordinary lab conditions, radiation causes an excitation of atoms and molecules. This exicitation in an uncontrolled circumstance (unconscious subject) produces a multitude of effects. In biological organisms this can cause burns, gnarly phisiological symptoms, cancers, and of course death.

I know it hasn't been tried (at least not to my knowledge or satisfaction) so I pose the question.

What would happen to an individual who were subjected to radiation at any level (such as the ones we are to experience) who had achieved some degree of, as Carlos Castaneda has put it, the Totality of One's Self? Suppose such an individual were able to through force of intent and observation exert control over the molecular and quantum effects occurring in/on his person.

To clarify I present Test Patient #647 (TP for short). TP has studied the occult, fringe science, metaphysics, quantum mechanics, ET phenomenon, psychedelics, etc. (many/most of the things discussed on Avalon) for a number of years. He is in excellent health due to a raw organic diet, including regular amounts of sunlight and vitamins (A, B complex, C, D) and gets regular amounts of exercise.
TP is then subjected to a significant amount of radiation. TP, through force of intent as he understands the concept, consciously exerts control over the physiological and molecular changes that occur within the body due to the radiation. Holy crap! TP is suddenly (or perhaps not so suddenly) unlocking realms of human potential previously unknown or unexpected! His brain function has increased (insert significant increase term here)-fold!

Cheeky a bit, but my postulation is this. Many within and without Avalon have cultivated a degree of awareness and (Castaneda again) personal power by which are able to experience phenomenon which is classically 'mythical', 'impossible', and unheard of. I personally have experienced some which contemporary academia have deemed and feel are nonesense, bunk, and a variety of other dissenting (and derisive) terms.

I speculate that such awareness and personal power could - through conscious focus of intent - be used to boost, or positively affect an individual. Call it will, call it awareness, call it intent, but atoms and subsequent molecules respond to the disposition of the observer. Change to whatever degree could thereby be directed, manipulated, or even 'herded' as per the will and intent of the observer.

Let's look at those who have suffered from the Chernobyl meltdown. What were they thinking? Were they hopeful? Were they fearful? Did they listen to dozens of experts saying "This is BAD" and took that to heart, or did they look at the situation and say "This is an opportunity"? Is it possible that the radioactive changes that occurred within their organism were a manifestation of their expectations and dispositions? Is it possible that they, through the laws of attraction, created their own reality and that the radioactivity was but the catalyst?

I'm focusing on two concepts here - Quantum Mechanics and the Laws of Attraction. Both acknowledge the role and potence of the awareness of the observer. Both recognize that what is fixed in the 'hearts and minds' of the observer is made manifest. Is this situation any different?

As I said, it is only a theory. Imagine concentrating one's vibration and focusing it so that the 'random' atomic and molecular DNA reactions to errant radioactive particles could be made not so random. Imagine that instead of a random bit of DNA code getting knocked off resulting in the numerous documented cases of Cancer, a less random genetic blocker gets knocked off, allowing an evolutionary development?

I'm not saying it is probable, I am saying it is possible - through meditation, focus, and intent. I further suggest that individuals who have suffered due to errant radioactivity likely didn't try what I suggest, that it probably never occurred to them.

And that's the bottom line - To my knowledge, a hypothesis such as the one I present has never been attempted or even conceived before. Who's feeling lucky? I certainly am. ^_^
