Here is an article (and book) proving that the police are not there for us...
http://current.com/news/89966148_gun-law-fact-check-the-police-have-no-legal-responsibility-to-protect-you-or-your-family.htm
Hmmm... I think I am changing my mind about getting a gun...

I have been with Avalon for about 2 years now, but this article still shocked me... I guess I am going deeper in the rabbit hole ...
and bluest, I wonder how many terms, that have crept into the language unnoticed, are great clues for awareness flyers? can we draw up a roster of terms for that?

I read 2 stories from the US a week or so ago, where the police came to a disturbed woman's house to help her - and broke in and shot her dead.
On the other occassion, they were called to a depressed man's home - and shot him dead.
If you like I'll post the links. Just ask and I'll hunt them down (unarmed) :-^

I had a brain wave about how Police will use all the cameras on the streets of the US & UK. Their real purpose is to track you & listen to your conversations after you have an RFID chip in your forehead or hand. Future cameras will be able to read the RFIDs, so it will be impossible to hide by wearing discuises, etc. Here's a good article about FBI surveillance http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=3535528&page=4. Here's a good article about the US spy satellites - http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Spy_satellites_to_be_used_more_0815.html street cameras

Chip in your forehead? lol the Chip is in the real ID card, which will replace all bank cards and your ID, which means you wont be able to buy or cell with out it, it will also store all medical records, also review Google earth because they have been about to pin point where you are for sometime now, they dont need a chip for that
The Police Depts are now looking like the Military, and X military are joining the police depts, and Homeland Sec since 2000 have been training and been involve with all police depts. Fema is also telling people in training classes the founding fathers were terrorists. and these are cops they are training

why are labeled "A.D.D." kids reactive to certain food additives ? the ones that are listed on the labels as a number ? is this an example of nanotech implementation ? and the secret formulation hidden behind the number ?(under the guise of trade secret)

Where I live, 'police' are the most corrupt, ill mannered, self centered, and truly infuriating people you will ever come across. I have never had a good impression of any police officer anywhere in my life, good cops are so rare they even made a movie out of it, remember Serpico, the 'one' good cop? there's a very good reason that film is still renowned to this day. Basically its just another way for the establishment to control and give you a hefty ticket if you run 1 kph over the speed limit. They aren't here to 'protect', but they do 'serve' someone.

A.D.D. stands for Attention Deficit Disorder and it is likened to an extremely disassociative condition where people are so distracted that they are not able to concentrate on anything for than a few minutes... uncontrolled compartmentilization...

The police is there to enforce laws and protect the government. If by chance people's interests fitted with these too tasks, it could look as if they were protecting people. But thery were never there for that.

Federal funding comes with strings and one of those strings is that the police (and sheriff if they accept federal funding) can be taken under Federal control.
The fears of early Americans that the police may become an army of occupation is starting to bear fruition. There was objection to raising police as people had a duty to help one another (hue and cry). When police departments were created, that duty of one citizen toward another began diminished. Thanks to changes in the law, we the people are less capable of defending ourselves (think of liability laws). The more the police see themselves apart from their community instead of part of their community, the more they become that occupying army.
The original poster mentioned about getting a gun. Does anyone doubt why our overlords want the Second Amendment repealed? Does anyone doubt why the UN want disarmament of private citizens? There's an interesting DVD, Innocents Betrayed. It's about the 20th Century killing of people by their own government.

I was reading an article about the Restoring Honor Rally with Glen Beck and Sarah Palin...
and it struck me as odd that a huge crowd of people were allowed to gather at a RALLY of some sort, without activating the goon squads...
and then it hit me (like a ton of bricks) ... that event was permitted to happen...
*(because they had paid for a PERMIT for a large gathering)...
so- if that is all it takes to keep the ego police at bay...???
maybe it really is all about the legal definitions of words/terms? or all about the money/profit...
if the riot squads are to disperse an 'unlawful assembly'... then just go get a permit before the meeting!
