Please join the Circle and together we will embrace the earth with an energy field of love and compassion.

Let us know you have joined the Circle by registering your location on our map of the world.

March 2011 -

Blessings and peace to all free-living birds, fish, and animals being harmed, terrorized, and killed by toxic poisons spewed into their home lands, waters, and skies by both secret and blatant human activity.

May we humans think always of the harm we are causing our non-human animal relations, and may we recognize and respect their interests to live their lives freely and in autonomy and health on this beautiful Earth.

Please join us in repeating this healing prayer by Dr. Masaru Emoto, who many of you will recognize as the scientist from Japan who has done research and publications about the characteristics of water. Among other things, his research reveals that water physically responds to emotions.
Feel free to copy and send it around the planet. Let's take charge ... and do our own inner and outer clean up.

PRAYER:

"I send the energy of love and gratitude to the waters
and all living creatures in the waters, skies, and lands of this Earth.
To the gorillas, whales, dolphins, horses, rabbits, doves, frogs, pelicans, fish,
shellfish, turtles, trees, bears, elephants, wolves, mountains, planktons,
corals, ferns, butterflies, bats, bees, algae ... to ALL living creatures ... I am sorry.
Please forgive me. Thank you.
I Love You."

Poem of the Month:

I No Longer Steal From Nature by ~ Al-Ma’arri (973-1057)

You are diseased in understanding and religion.
Come to me, that you may hear something of sound truth.
Do not unjustly eat fish the water has given up,
And do not desire as food the flesh of slaughtered animals,
Or the white milk of mothers who intended its pure draught
for their young, not noble ladies.
And do not grieve the unsuspecting birds by taking eggs;
for injustice is the worst of crimes.
And spare the honey which the bees get industriously
from the flowers of fragrant plants;
For they did not store it that it might belong to others,
Nor did they gather it for bounty and gifts.
I washed my hands of all this; and wish that I
Perceived my way before my hair went gray!

(How refreshing to know that these all-encompassing thoughts were written 1,000 years in Baghdad!)

Modern science and ancient wisdom agree: Thoughts have the power to hurt and to heal.
Let us join our hearts and minds together at least

once each day (preferably at noon)

to hold this precious vision and repeat the powerful healing words of the Worldwide Prayer Circle for Animals:

"Compassion Encircles the Earth for All Beings Everywhere."

Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update

Our prayers for the animals continue to circle around the world to uplift humanity's consciousness toward the animals of the world and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE

One of our prayer circle members SBH Clay, has written an amazing, free, online book, entitled CreatureQuotes: Advancing Toward Freedom for All Species. It is well worth a visit to her site. You will find a treasure of quotes, wisdom, and information there to help you in your own life and work.

Clay recently sent a prayer for the animals that we thought you would like to see. It is written in the Christian Science tradition. If you would like to share a prayer from your own tradition or a personal prayer, please don't hesitate to send it. All our prayers and positive visions are helping to birth the new consciousness of kindness.
Here is Clay's prayer.

"May we fall on bended knee before our Father by loving all His ideas, from the least to the greatest, the lowest to the highest. May we bow before our Mother by respecting and protecting, not destroying and devouring, Her beloved lambs and poults and piglets and calves and chicks and fish and fillies -- and their parents! May we do whatever reflects God's Christly man, who can't demean, in thought, feeling, word, or deed, a single Truth-Life-Love-made identity. May we imitate Jesus' self-sacrificial nature. May we outlaw in our daily practices all complicity in violence and bloodlust, all hypocrisy and greed. May we, by example, help all mankind erase the imaginary dividing line between "us" and "them." May we be Mind's full manifestation by embracing all Mind's creative ideas -- Her creatures -- within us."

Please visit the website www.circleofcompassion.org often to see updates, special prayers, to join in our "A prayer a day for animals" which features a prayer for a different group of animals each day of the week, and/or to send us ideas or prayer requests. Please forward this widely so that we may continue to add more people to our ever-expanding circle of compassion.

Peace to you and to all beings,
Judy Carman and Will and Madeleine Tuttle

I should mention briefly that I learned this week that our planet is noted (if not always respected) for its astonishing biodiversity - comparatively few inhabited worlds in our universe share such a vibrant array of different lifeforms.
