Tsunami alert has been issued but the size warning is varied. Some say 1 meter.... I don't think that's very high, but with their already devastated coast it could be that proverbial straw.

The Japan meteorological agency issued a tsunami warning for a wave of up to 6 feet (Two meters) for a stretch of more than 300 miles of the northeastern coast from Aomori prefecture in the north to Ibaraki prefecture in central Japan, just north of Tokyo. USGS updated now saying it was only one quake in Japan and that it was only 7.1 magnitude. Cover-up ? Few minutes ago the tsunami warning has been lifted ?
