More than 40 vehicles were involved in a mass pile-up on a German highway friday which left several people dead and dozens more injured. The accident was apparently caused by a sandstorm after strong winds in the area.

I was in a massive pile up on the Autobaun, well the tail end of it. We didn't crash but could see piles of cars ahead of us. Took 4 hours before we could move. "I've GOT TO PEE". Of course in Europe no one thinks twice about doing it on the side of the road.

Germans are crazy in the fog. I've been driving and could not see, literally, the front of the car and Germans would go zooming by me. Insane.

speed radar does not work in a fog. This means: go faster.
