Why do Threads not stay visible on forums?

Seems to me people go to considerable time to put threads up in the living off the grid forum only to have them disappear.

This really needs to change. Can we not have this changed so threads stay on for reference?

Arrowwind,could you please be more specific as to what thread has disappeard... we might be able to help you find it :)

Threads do NOT disappear just like that (unless maybe they have been moved by the request of the original poster to another forum/sub forum)

please provide us with more details as to what was the subject of that specific thread,who posted it ,when etc.

Have you tried the 'Advance search' button above-right...
