Japan had a 7.1 aftershock approximately 4 hours ago. I haven't heard much of an update on it since - apparently a tsunami warning had been issued, but it's been lifted. You'd think a 7.1 would generate a fairly large tsunami.

The aftershocks haven't stopped.

Hi Tkh, I don't trust USGS - they've been caught a few times messing with info. Here it records it at 7.1 http://www.iris.edu/seismon/last30days.phtml

Not that I want it to be a 7.1 - I'm just sayin'.

Yeah I also checked world-earthquakes.com they show it as a 6.6 as well... who knows!

God bless these people. I don't know how they are doing it. I hope there are no more deaths. They have enough to deal with right now. Hang in there Japan!!
