The future, smal farms in co-operation !

About 1985 ther was a big change in Sweden !

People was consernd about the envirement and people was asking for biological products in the market !

Many farmers had a rough beginning as nothing was much adapted for this and they didnt work togheter as they do today !

The marked ( consumers) wanted natural grown animals and also vegitabels, milk and chees ice cream !

Consumers said we do not whant to eat animals that have sufferd and are grown in an unetical way !

Here is one example off co- operation with other farms (Gårdar).

8 farms on this page in red text the name to every farm.

Google translator can be nice to have so here is the link http://translate.google.se/#

Often this type of farms sell for self and for others example eggs frozen cheep or/and pig.

Ecological vegitabiles also is common !

It is and has allways been the buyer that decide what will be on the market !

Many (some :) ) in UK are now wanting to set up sustainable smallholdings / communities (& some have already succeeded) - but buying land (its expensive) and getting planning permission (they don't want you to do it) are the problems.

Wales has a new planning policy called One Planet Development which aims to allow for sustainable, land based development projects - but its still quite daunting to tackle, with a lot of documentation & proof to be obtained / supplied for consideration. Don't think anyone has got through it as yet though!?!?
