What I'm not after is 'nice,' 'cute,' 'what hunks - the both of them,' or the obvious reactions, but the elemental essence of the experience of the 'hummingbird healer.'
What do you think his intentions were, so innate they weren't spoken, and why the mere watching of the video reaches us so deeply ?
What experience is being demonstrated ?
Humour encouraged. :)
TIA just for trying.

Hi Meerdas - that happened to me, too. If you left click on the title of the video then copy the url and post it in the you tube address that works.

What country are you in Meerdas? Don't feel obliged to answer that. I'm in Australia - and there are times I can't view stuff due to the country I'm in. I have no idea why that is.
Sorry - back to topic. :)

This one's pretty cool. Just to explain. It's about a man who saves a shark from a fishing net and the shark lets him pat it and follows him around in his boat.

Well Amzer Zo...
I would discern a difference between affection and a desire to do good to another as the defining difference between us and other animal life forms on this ORB, as well as the essence between the two clips.
I do agree that dolphins have quite a different status among the animal kingdom, as do whales, elephants & horses ... :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolphin
"Various scientists to have researched Dolphin behaviour have proposed that their unusually high intelligence compared to other animals means that dolphins should be seen as non-human persons that should have their own specific rights, and that it is morally unacceptable to keep them captive for entertainment purposes, or to kill them; either intentionally for consumption or as by-catch."

What a great story Teakai !
Yet I still discern a difference between affection, gratitude and a desire for the well-being of another.

That's quite a leap Pharoah21 :
What if there's a difference between personality granted by The Creator, which all life-forms have and a 'Soul' ?
How would we know, and what would it matter ?
Still, consideration to the discernment between affection and gratitude - which animals can express, and an expression of a desire to do good to another life-form, which seems to me to be fairly unique to humans -- might provide some insight to the potential of humans.
The slightest of difference can result in the most profoundly different consequence.

Agreed from what transpires in that video. However there's is a recent report of dolphins in Florida attracting attention to save a dog stuck on a sand bank with a rising tide... never mind the zillion accounts of guiding ships through dangerous shoals, etc.
Now, how about these two guys keeping each other warm? In the sense of helping each other... isn't making friends doing mutual good?

Tolerance ? What tolerance - for a dog there is only acceptance. A lesson they learned from angels ?

Hi 58 - I'm not sure how the red part is inspired by me, unless you're using the wording in the shark story video.
There was an experiment done, where someone was anthaetised in some way and they were able to feel the other person's (who they were looking at) stimuli.
I'm wondering if maybe that is where the connection is occuring. And, perhaps it occurs more frequently between animals and humans than human and human because the animal - not having as much ego identifiaction as humans and being more in touch with the natural are able to hone in on that.
I'll take a look and see if I can find the experiment I'm referring to.

Hi Teakai:
I am making a discernment between the potential for life forms other than humans, as a result of a life of experience, study & contemplation -- and humans being different, and harmonizes with our potential experience as we live life in this material form.
I'm not here to 'set down the law about the actual Truth or Reality, just a perspective that I find uncommon.
Because this perspective deviates so much, I like to point to it when opportunites permit, if indeed anyone else is as curious as I ... [aka a perspective Alice comes to behind the looking glass... :) ]
About 'the experiment' you mention, it might be this wonderful video about Marcus du Sautoy on BBC 'The Secret You' -- some experiments to do with 'consciousness.'
YouTube keeps yanking them down, and people [thank goodness] keep uploading it. It is one of my favorites. It has blown quite a few minds, what science has discovered about ourselves.
A lot of other BBC material survivies, and some don't. Is there too powerful a message here ?

Hi 58 - I'm not sure if that's the video I'm talking about. Does the guy get an injection which makes him unaware of his skin and then they do something to someone else and he feels it all? I;ll likely watch the one you put up - but time's short tonight :)
What did you mean by the highlighted part? Potential for animals to do what?
