View Full Version : This is getting ridiculous

I know it's probably not kosher to talk about what one sees on similar sites. However, when you see a conspiracy site dedicate a new forum to WWIII, one has to wonder what their true intentions are?
Are they trying to intentionally stoke that fire? Are they preparing forum members for such a war?
I just can't stand the negative approach on that site. All negative, all the time. Yet, I read it because I can't go about with my head in the clouds forever. A reality check from time to time is always good.
However, such nonsense sparks my anxiety.

I would never accuse you of having your head in the clouds, Humble! If you have to visit that site, maybe practice conscious breathing. I like to stay away from that sort of information but I notice it incidentally. It's certainly not an inevitability imo. The PTW are depending upon our collective fear and commotion. Why give them what they want?

Was just about to say the same thing. If 'they' feed on fear, the site serves their purpose. And there seems quite a few similar threads all over the place (even on the site for Positive People!). If you focus on WWIII you might just land bang in the middle of that timeline, while it passes others by completely. I believe it's getting less and less likely, tho' the doom mongers may also get a perverse buzz from it all. Get to wear the camouflage gear and stock up and all of that.

May I ask which site we are discussing?
Perhaps the phrase 'Consider the source.' would be appropriate here...

Your new avatar provides a different slant to the phrase, "Thinking with the little head." lol

well that depends on the nature of ones focus. all religious groups have been focusing (praying/worshipping) for a better world for thousands of years, but look where that has gotten them now (as groups)
if you want to prevent WW3, you have to do something about it. If you want to do something about anything, it necessarily requires a degree focus, otherwise, how will one accomplish anything?

ATS.
And yes, one of the users that replied here is right. I certainly don't want any part of a negative timeline.
ATS has turned into GLP-lite though lately.

I agree - head in clouds reduces visibility just as much as head in sand. I haven't paid much attention to ATS at all, but there's negativity enough just in our daily lives at the moment - what with Japan, Lybia and the Ivory Coast, not to mention rising prices everywhere while daily millions of Euros / dollars - our money - get dedicated to destruction elsewhere instead of maintaining decent conditions at home. I can't fantasize about WW3 any more than I can about false-flag alien invasions - too busy trying to keep my own house in order. Very grateful to have a garden to work in - nature doesn't seem to pay much attention to Wall Street - and it calms the spirit, which is where I believe all useful change is centred.
Best wishes
