Depleted Uranium dust can infact reach the UK mixed in with Sahara sandstorms! While NATO is establishing democracy in Libya with carpet bombardment, what will be the toxic toll on the people there? The US dropped thousands of depleted uranium bombs upon Fallujah, Iraq in 2003, and the aftermath since has been catastrophic. Are they repeating the action in Libya? Conn Hallinan is a columnist with Foreign Policy in Focus and says it's just a very bad idea.
