If you want to just skip to the 11 minute mark or so. Looks like earthquake warfare has made it into video games now, at the end of the trailer there is a earthquake where buildings fall and it cuts to black where on the radio you hear "all units be advised a catastrophic earthquake event in Iran is effecting all operational capability in the Iran, Iraq region."

If you understood how this game series worked, you'd know that it isn't about earthquake warfare or anything of the like.

In this game it is an unfortunate occurance that adds jeapardy to the protagonists to heighten the tension. A simple plot device. The game series does lend itself to unique technologies, Battefield: Bad Company 2 for example had the protagonsits squad racing to re-aquire a stolen "Scalar" weapon. These weapons exist, they just aren't allowed to be used.

Whilst it does deal with tough ideas and concepts, the earthquake scenario in this outing of the series is nothing more than an earthquake.

Also, all of this "the games are discolsing!!" stuff is purely ridiculous. Video games are a source of fictional entertainment, and take it from me, a lot of video games designers look to consipracy theories and the like for inspiration, so i'd be first inline for thanking them for getting the concepts and info out into the mainstream.

I did play Bad Company 2 and it was great, I guess I just misinterpreted the trailer. It seemed like the Earthquake might be a part of the battle or possibly the plot of the campaign. But I would definitely have to agree with you there is no disclosure going on in video games. I just think the writers might be avid conspiracy theorists and like to add pieces of conspiracy in there video games. With that said the game looks amazing!
