View Full Version : Theories on Soul, a questionaire

Hey all. I am curious what people's views here are regarding the soul. Here are some questions for people to answer their views:
Is it neutral? Or is it only good? Can a soul be dark or light dominantly? What is the status of soul. Yihn Yang(balance), Light and only light, or neutral? Or something else entirely...
What exactly does the soul do?
Is the soul immortal or just relatively near the term? Does it have a beginning? Does it have an end?
If the soul learns and gathers more wisdom. This may mean it is not immortal. Or at least had a beginning. Or perhaps every so often it resets? Perhaps the soul is complete and the DNA is how the soul accesses our minds, and DNA is the variable of how much soul is in us. Maybe there is only one soul for all.
Does the soul ascend to deeper more potent existences?
Does the soul transcend universes? Can souls incarnate multiversally?
What or who created the premise of soul if anything(Maybe it always just existed)?
How much of the soul do you think makes us who we are. Other variables being DNA, conditioning, parents, society, ego, etc.
Can a soul die?
Can a soul be manipulated in any way by darker forces(Onyxknight speaks of very horrible things being done to soul by Tall greys using it's energy)?
Does the soul have an element of conditioning involved? For example if you work as a military man for 10 lives ina row, would the soul react to that and have different qualities stemming from those lives?
Is the soul the seat of consciousness?
Please share everything you know about soul I have not spoken of(concisely if possible but some things I realize may be longer in this discussion). Or theories on possible aspects of soul.
I am undergoing a mission of trying to set up some working theories on soul(multiple). This is something I am doing through my think tank Omniverse Research (http://www.omniverseresearch.com). I think it's an interesting end game topic. And I'm curious what views Avalonians hold about soul. Please share :)

I doubt you will find the asnwers you seek around here my friend, some of those questions wont be that easy to answer, what i i would do is some seriously deep meditation then perhaps you can come up with some answers of your own,you are asking about some real complex subjects and there are very few people out there qualified to answer then properly in my humble opinion.

I am not looking to know for sure the truth in this thread. Just see what people's views are out there. I do not think I will find 'the answer'. I am just looking for perspectives on it. I will answer all the Q's myself at some point. You don't have to 'know' the answers to answer these Q's with speculation/theory.
I am curious what eastern religions say about soul. What do the Hindus say about soul? What do the Taoists say about soul? What about Shinto?
What is the oldest writing about soul?
These are the things I will be researching if I find no help in forums but if anyone knows any of this I'm interested.
If anyone knows anything about soul, post it here plz :)

There is only one soul------ if it were otherwise then Oneness would be impossible.
We are all waves of the Divine ocean, separation is an illusion.
We appear to be separate but the whole cosmos is one.
God is one without a second.
The mind wants to make it complex.
It creates dualism. === subject and object.
There is only awareness --- which is shared by all.
Awareness is aware of being aware of consciousness.
We share one consciousness.
Oneness is being aware of one consciousness.
It is the same electricity that powers all appliances.
Problem is we think we are the appliance when actually we are the electricity --- we are life itself in all its multitudes of expression.
Illusion is Maya ( Indian word)

My own perspective on this is that each soul is one of a large, possibly infinite number of focus points of the "original" thought.
As such it is the joining of us and the creator and is a vehicle for individuality. In the manifest universe it has a discernible structure, one that is carefully protected.
It is the focal point where we become individual aspects of that original thought and wherein we are all one and the same.
It remains permanent until there is no longer a need for the individuality and where the non-original individual rejoins with the original thought (prime creator).
That sums up my understanding and perspective at this point.

What a synchronicity!
Hey all. I am curious what people's views here are regarding the soul. Here are some questions for people to answer their views:
Is it neutral? Or is it only good? Can a soul be dark or light dominantly? What is the status of soul. Yihn Yang(balance), Light and only light, or neutral? Or something else entirely...
My definition of soul is "It's is a set of high frequency wave functions in close loop with self-awareness and memories."
Soul is neutral but it's color is decided by the soul's consciousness or ego.
What exactly does the soul do?
Each soul takes own journey to become universal consciousness itself or be the star dust.
My sources indicated me souls - the spark of life forms - began right after the creation of our universe. Most souls do exist till the end of our universe. But, my question is if soul loose its identity - self consciousness -, will it ever get back previous identity or remain as reusable energy for life forms?
Does the soul ascend to deeper more potent existences?
I think so. As animal soul evolves, it begins to live as miserable humans for expanding its consciousness. Some of human souls already moved on next level of physical existences. Most of humans are still caught-up in low density world. Super advanced aliens are mentioned they manage overall ecology of our universe, even carefully calculating and planning for next cycle of our universe when all the positive energy consumed.
Does the soul transcend universes? Can souls incarnate multiversally?
I think so. The super advanced aliens are good example. It's subjective opinion though.
When souls move into other universe, they will likely governed by localized physical law in that universe. If other universe and our one are disconnected whatsoever, there go independent path of evolution. Assuming even universes are connected, interact each other interdimensionally, incarnation in different universes exist.
What or who created the premise of soul if anything(Maybe it always just existed)?
By the souls themselves. Without self feed back mechanism, self expanding structure, souls won't change nor grow.
How much of the soul do you think makes us who we are. Other variables being DNA, conditioning, parents, society, ego, etc.
I'll say the soul contributes fifty percent of our identity when we are born. The last half is a set of many elements: collective consciousness, social structure, culture, DNA, etc.
Can a soul die?
Permanent death is when a soul becomes star dust.
Can a soul be manipulated in any way by darker forces(Onyxknight speaks of very horrible things being done to soul by Tall greys using it's energy)?
I'm absolutely positive. When I just look at miserable human existences for thousands years, if souls are caught up in a box, it will reincarnate back over and over in that box. Program soul's consciousness so that it will choose the previous world again without making alternative choice in non-physical realm.
Does the soul have an element of conditioning involved? For example if you work as a military man for 10 lives ina row, would the soul react to that and have different qualities stemming from those lives?
I say that's nightmare scenario for a soul when it's in stagnation stage for how long.
Is the soul the seat of consciousness?
IMHO, it's super consciousness that contains temporal consciousness - a life in physical world.

That's it for now about my version of soul. To make it one phrase, soul is a projection of universe with infinite potential.

The definition I like and believe is correct is "cohesive consciousness". I think it could be messed with, if we dont take care of it.

Can a soul die?
The best explanation I have so far is the correlation between the Urantia Book and channeled messages from iON (http://informationfarm.blogspot.com/p/ion.html), that the soul might be described as a recording entity. Neither source is clear about when a soul is created (IIRC) but according to the UB, a soul can, in extreme circumstances be mandated for dissolution.

The soul is what you share with your other lives, past, present and future. As these are potentially infinite in number as well as quality, ultimately you are me and i am you and yes, there is only one soul.

I have always thought of energy, just energy. A form of energy.

my simplistic take on it. Take a bottle of water = the universe. Add some oil, it floats on top = god. shake it vigourosly and it disperses into millions of tiny droplets = us. gradually we will return as one, the same as the oil.
