So i been streaming LOST on my netflix for the past 2 months or so,and i have come to some conclusions, please post your own perspectives only if you are familiar with the show and if you watched it all.
I am not done yet i think i am at episode 102 right now towards the end of season 5,although there is one more season to go i can now draw some conclusions.the show at first was very confusing regarding the plot, but this episode i just watched started with these two guys at the island one of them is Jacob and the other i dont know his name,it seems obvious to me they both represent the duality we live in,what really strikes me about the show tho is how many clues they kinda just throw it in there things that most people wouldn't perceive unless they are a bit aware of this big hologram we all live in,i mean the fact you have this two different groups of people living on this magical island you have the outsiders that are there conducting some kinda of experiment and then you have the natives of the island the ones that the outsiders call 'hostiles',there is so much more hieroglyphs symbols metaphors the list goes all,if you really pay attention i think they are telling you a lot about the secret history of our race that has never been told to us,i find it very interesting, but anyway this particular episode had Jacob and this other guy talking to each other.there is a boat in the distance on the ocean coming towards the island and they have a short conversation that i thought was interesting .The other guy approaches Jacob and Jacob tells him, i take it your here because of the Boat, its more like one of those big pirate ships but you get the idea, the other guy then tells Jacob how did they get here how did find the island?Jacob then tells him you are going to have to ask them when they get here the other guy then tells him i dont have to ask WE brought them here ,note i thought it was very interesting the guy with the lack shirt wich i assume is the negative side of duality says WE brought them here,he then proceeds to say to Jacob you are trying to prove me wrong arent you? Then Jacob says you are wrong,he then tells Jacob am i?And he says they come ,they fight they destroy they corrupt always ends the same.Jacob then says it only ends once anything that happens before that is just progress. Then they both look at each other and the guy with the black shirt asks Jacob do you have any idea how badly i want to kill you?And Jacob answers yes.he then proceeds to tell Jacob one of these days sooner or later i am going to find a loophole my friend ,and Jacob tells him well when you do i will be right here. Then the guy in the black shirt gets up and says always nice talking to you Jacob and Jacob answers always nice talking to you too.The scene ends with the guy with the black shirt walking away from him on the island shore and there is this HUGE statue of this egyptian like god being thats humanoid holding the ANKH of life on one hand and he has this crocodilian like head,i was like HOLY crap! They are putting it right out right on our faces on a tv show ,but the striking part was the conversation bit and the fact that they are talking about the human race as a collective and these two beings are like at war with each other, one represents the negative side and other the positive side,i really think it was very interesting.I highly recommend this show because if you can look at the messages that are hidden within the plot it kinda tells you a lot about the whole hybrid off planet experiment and all that, thats the way i interpreted anyway.
I would be glad and grateful to hear some insight from people who are familiar with the show to see what others think about the plot its getting really good now at seasons 5 and 6 i hope it doesnt end with some kind of stupid ending and please dont spoil i havent finished watching it yet hehe.

Definitely interested in the discussion.
Bump the thread with a new post when your finished.
Any comment other than asked for by you would create plot spoilers.
Lot more to that show than meets the eye or the eye or the other eye.

A lot of deep answers are straight ahead as season six starts.
LOST is a revolutionary look at the Cosmos that escapes people due to a lack of 3D toy models to put on the table and analyze the plot.
The entire sequence including trying to burrow inward to capture the life force in the light which lies at the core of the island is a good metaphor for people trying to do battle with the very power that animates them. That's why Jacob and The Man in Black know what sequences each party is responsible for manifesting into the island which is a protective shell surrounding the light's (motion in motion in motion in motion in motion) 5X protective layer. Smokey serves his purpose as the balance between decisions tilts slightly left or slightly right finalizing a new fact or outcome memorized by the life force - pure information realm as God Mind as recorded memory that is now irreversible but can be balanced by new additions of outcomes and scenarios.

Narrator: Tyler, what the **** is going on here?
Tyler Durden: I ask you for one thing, one simple thing.
Narrator: Why do people think that I'm you? Answer me!
Tyler Durden: Sit.
Narrator: Now answer me, why do people think that I'm you.
Tyler Durden: I think you know.
Narrator: No, I don't.
Tyler Durden: Yes, you do. Why would anyone possibly confuse you with me?
Narrator: Uh... I... I don't know.
[Random flashbacks]
Tyler Durden: You got it.
Narrator: No.
Tyler Durden: Say it.
Narrator: Because...
Tyler Durden: Say it.
Narrator: Because we're the same person.
Tyler Durden: That's right.

Wow really?I just finished the last episode man and it put me to tears when Jack had the conversation with his father, man that was some seriously deep dialogue some of the best i have seen in any tv scripted show, the thing is most people just watched that and didnt get the message and the hidden lines within it all, that show had so many things that tells us about our very own nature thats just hardcore stuff,i enjoyed it very very much,i wish they made more things like that because it may help more people wake up from their deep slumber and a small glimpse at what life really is all about, thanks for the replies folks,i thought i'd see more then just 5 replies but i am glad i did get some feedback !:couch2:

Arpheus, I just found your post after answering another post about how many Avalonians own tvs. I was facsinated with Lost the last 2 years it was on air, caught up with dvds, and watched finale when it aired. I was not really "awakened" at that time, however looking back, I totally agree with you. The writers/creators were feeding us some information...for those who could understand. I could not at that time.
I think the reason you didn't get many responses is because alot of Avalonians do not own or watch TV, lol.
I loved the concept of "sideways world" ,the awakening" of the characters, and the finale. Maybe this bump will create more responses from Newbies like me that have watched Tv in the last few years. David Wilcock points to some television programming and movies as a source of disclosure. Maybe Lost was one of those shows?

LOST was breathtaking to me. One scene from I think was Season 5 resonated particularly with me. That was when John Locke asks Ben why he was doing all these things for someone he has never heard, seen, smelt, felt or tasted. Someone who seemingly treated him like dirt and required Ben watch his own daughter die in front of him in exchange for a series of failed promises. A lot of violent & destructive extremists need look at this before any action is considered. The final episode held few surprises but I was so impressed by the delicate direction, music and message it sends out to those who look beneath the story and why it was told. It is a beautiful show and you know what, the message of Love getting us into all sorts of trouble and getting us out of just as much is why we are sharing life together.

My favourite character was Hurley,(in fact i had a Puffer fish that looked like him so we called him Hurley) :) And the burial scene on the beach was moving beyond words.
Beautiful music too.
