Welcome to Forgotten Books! From this web site you can read literally thousands of books online, download free ebooks in PDF format, and if you prefer to read from paper, we sell high-quality paperback books at wholesale prices.

We are an independent publisher, specializing in historical writings. This includes works such as: classical fiction, philosophy, science, religion, folklore, mythology and sacred texts, in addition to secret and esoteric subjects, such as: occult, freemasonry, alchemy, hermetic and ancient knowledge. We have fiction and non-fiction books in both print and as e-books for download.

Forgotten Books is a book publisher. All of the books on this web site are published by us. We reprint classical literature and old books that have long been out of print. Many of our books you may not find elsewhere.

Forgotten Books is proud partner of Amazon.com and Google Books.

When you click on Browse, you see

Beneath this is a Google search box (there is no Search window on the home page).

You can download any book in low-quality PDF format. What's the catch?

The first 15 pages of this book are high-quality, all other pages are low-quality.

But wait, there's worse...

The vertical black lines appearing on most pages are deliberate. This is required to stop people from selling printed copies of our e-books. Our own printed books do not have these watermarks.

So why bother?

Well, in spite of these limitations, you can still learn a lot, check references, etc. Anyone who's mastered a Captcha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA) window should have no difficulty reading low-quality PDF. These books are rare. And if you would like a clean, hi-def copy that you can't get or borrow anywhere else, FB will happily oblige.

P.S., theoccult.bz seem to be accepting new registrations again.
